How to RECORD COMPUTER SCREEN and Audio with OBS Studio

yo yo YouTube Johannes here from alone to the aka living room productions and today I am telling you this how to record your computer screen with OBS to do a little bit faster because we made this earlier and as you can see it's almost 16 minutes long 16 minutes everybody can tell how to use the program very much faster so let's do that okay I assume that you have the obeah story already in South in your computer's so open the software first you see the output monitor here okay in the left corner here you see the scene area you need at least one scene to put your sources and the sources are basically what you want to record with the OBS studio if you're opening the OBS studio first time this may be empty this sources box here or there will be the default sources that the OBS studio is capturing by default but if there's nothing just right-click with your mouse and just select these audio input capture and display capture but yeah just saying and right now I have these two here because I am recording this YouTube video right now so I have this to display capture and audio in capture here that's why so we want to record sound and our monitor so let's put the audio input capture and create a new one and choose the recording device we have the Road NT USB microphone the second source will be the display capture because we want to record our monitor here if you have more than one monitor you can choose one of them and if you want to record mouse movement please click on the check box right here okay now you should see here that the audio input capture is recording because the green bar is bouncy okay let's jump straight to the settings here from the first tab you can change the theme and language and some other settings but I have not needed to change any of these actually so let's just jump to the next tab also from here you don't actually need to change anything if you don't stream okay let's go to the output tab this is important on default the video betray'd is about two thousand and five hundred but I have changed it to three thousand so it will be a little bit better and just remember the bigger the bitrate is the bigger the file size will be encoder will be hardware audio bitrate just put it to the best three hundred 20 if it isn't that already change the save location folder from here like where you want to save your recording I usually save my recordings to desktop and then I just move the files wherever I want the recording format I have kept on mp3 because the file size will not be so big with this mp3 file format on the audio tab check that your sample rate is 48 kilohertz and the channels will be stereo on the video tab the bass canvas resolution will be the full HD like it is here right now and the output scale resolution will be the same and be sure that the FPS value is around 30 because the mouse movement will be more clear with that fps and from the last two tabs you don't need actually to change anything if you don't want to remember to hit apply and then okay and you are good to go start recording okay actually there is reading stop recording because I'm recording this YouTube video but I hope that you will see in your computer that there is reading start recording so press that button not this stop recording button yeah you got the point okay hope you like this little bit faster tutorial about this topic how to use OBS studio or how to basically set up the OBS studio for for to record your screen basically umbria if you found this video valuable please subscribe to our channel I would appreciate that a lot and leave this video a like if you liked it and remember to follow me on Twitter Instagram and Facebook and see you in the next one you
