HOW TO PULL A WELL POINT

[Music] just another beautiful day here and what we're going to do is we are going to see if we can pull a well point out of the ground and being able putting up a new cabin I decided I'm gonna pull that well point and see if I can pull that well point and move it to the location of the cabin I'm hoping to put in a primitive cabin this year I want to have a hand pump pitcher pump in the cabin similar one that we have here how about fire pit we're gonna see how this works hopefully all goes well and we could move it hard part is gonna be pulling the point wins not down that far but I did hit some rock I was pounding it years ago so let's see what we can do get started okay here's the well point tucked in the trees here you can put it in years ago and the trees kind of grew up around it I don't want to get this thing out because I don't want to cut the trees heavy-duty jack pick up I don't know what it's rated for bit pick up my Jeep so see if it'll pull a well point out I've got the jack right at the end of the wellhead see if I can't this thing move [Music] it's coming up this was the setup yesterday tried to get up real high but the problem is is that well the shaft kept bending away from the jack up high so I gotta rethink this and I got to grab that low so I gotta move this stuff out of the way and look at the work [Music] I work for an old fat guy okay right there I got the end of the well point showing and that's about three foot long maybe four I'm gonna lower this one more time I'm thinking I may go to the coldest ever ground my hands I just hope it doesn't fall back into the ground when I stop it [Applause] noticin keeps trying to grab on to that with three ranch the second wrench every time I lift it just so it doesn't fall back down into that hole another person here is at the hands okay just grab onto that and pour out of there so I'm gonna try to do there's the point we got that's the whole well bottom the tap we didn't take it over to another well we're gonna wash that out see what looks like I'd like to say if it takes water it'll give water that's how you remove a well a point [Music]
