I was going to say bullshit on this, but.... I was pretty impressed with the results
lol did any of you guys actually watch the video ? it came out good
There's my problem. I just don't have what it takes to put on that turd coat.
You should cross post this to /r/CarRestorations, it can be a good way for someone to protect their cars metal while they're restoring it.
WOW. This came out 100x better than I expected. Very impressive.
I thought it turned out great.
Just a few cans of spray paint had to cost more then $30.00. Whatβs the real price?
Not bad. Definitely better than expected. If anyone decides to try this, remember to take the windshield sprayers out before painting the hood. Please use some filtered ventilation and cover any surface areas that would hold dust. And kids, if youβre using rattlecan clear coat, I hope you get familiar with ultra-fine grit wet sanding and buffing; thatβs the best way to make it shine.
At one point he sprays a black layer very lightly to reveal the problem areas just before sanding. But then he doesn't seem to do anything about them after sanding / before painting. What's the point of making the problem areas more distinct?
