you just take them and do them now how to minister healing i want to give you some practical points okay we're not talking about what i was talking about some of these classic books the books that are out have been they've helped me get to a point but then i was at i was just like most of you i was at a point where i couldn't go any further based on the material that was out there and what i kept running into is all the excuses everybody had and i i agree that there are things that hinder people from receiving healing for themselves if there is sin in your life it's hard for you to receive healing for yourself because your own conscience condemns you and you have no confidence toward god because you're condemned so you can't get healing for yourself but you can find somebody else that has the power of god that can get you healed even though you have sin in your life god will still heal you and if that work weren't true you wouldn't be coming down for prayer from for some by someone else so you already know it's true because you come for prayer and other healing lines and different things so you know that someone else can get you free even though you can't get yourself free and what i'm trying to show you is that you can get free even though there is sin in your life now there shouldn't be please don't think i'm condoning sin i'm not i'm just telling you the only thing that stops you from receiving from god is yourself i don't care what else it i don't care what sin is in your life if you will draw on the mercy of god he will heal you even with the sin in your life jesus healed people that had sin in their life i mean look at who he was dealing with everybody was sinners then so he set them free and healed them and he just told him go and sin no more lest the worst thing come on you well i want the worst thing come on you well because you know the power of god and you're still in sin that's why worst thing would come on you so you should get free and stay free and live free i'm telling you there is there is power in living holy there is power you know why how do you think jesus could say the evil one comes and has nothing in me he can find nothing in me why do you think jesus could live free of that because he lived holy and if you live holy it creates a protection about you that the enemy might come in to sift you as weak not the scripture says but he won't find anything in you and if he does if he comes and sifts you he won't be able to do anything to you believe me if if that were possible when you walk into hospitals and different places homes where people have contagious diseases and they have all these things that they tell you all these things before you go and wash your hands when you come out wash your hands they want you to put this thing over your face you you have to stop and think if that's if you have to do all that then what are you doing going in there because if you can catch it you shouldn't be going there in the first place so i never worry about that i never worry about catching anything number one i know i'm not gonna die by sickness or disease because i know that's not god's will for me so i'm not gonna catch anything that's going to kill me and so i just go and do the work of god and i expect a sickness or disease to die when i get there and if some type of germ gets on me i expect it to die dr lake gave me a good example of how that works and he taught us that by the the law of the spirit of life we don't have to live under the law of sin and death and that law of the spirit of life in christ jesus creates a an energy a life essence that exudes from you over and over again i'm not i've had people say well he thinks he's john's you late reincarnated no but i'll tell you what dr lake knew who he was and he knew who christ was in him and that's what he's helped me to do he's helped me learn who i am in christ and who christ is in me and i'm not trying to be anybody i'm not trying to do i mean i i don't know anybody that acts like i do okay so it's not a matter of trying to be somebody or any of that kind of stuff i'm just this is just me what you see behind the pulpit this is me in everyday life one of the greatest compliments they already paid to me i feel was i had a young man tell me he said curry one and we were on outs you know what i mean by on outs at the time we had disagreed and it was kind of a paul and john mark thing we had parted ways and he said cory i'll say one thing about you he said everywhere you go you're the same you carry your gospel with you regardless of where you are what that's easy to do because this is life i don't have a pulpit persona and different somewhere else i'm the same everywhere i wouldn't know how to be different it's just life god just lives his life to you and you know used to i was always trying to be something you know what i mean you're trying to fit a mold that you have in your mind that either the church or movies on the life of christ has given you of how jesus was and how you should be and you know how jesus is he's just like me he's living his life through me he's living through this body he's living through your body your words paul spoke words that were peculiar to paul that's how they tell who wrote certain gospels and when they believe that paul wrote hebrews because of certain wording well but i thought it was the holy spirit that wrote the bible yeah he was but he used a vessel and he used what was in that vessel to exhibit that life and that's what he does through me it's what he does to you you don't have to be strange and weird and you know what okay i'm gonna pray for the sick wait a minute let me get in the mood that's ridiculous jesus never had to change gears to heal the sick he was in the right gear we're always in the right gear just now at the back prayed for a sister set her set her free boom boom boom no hoopla no razzmatazz you know all that kind of stuff wow what because the word god is true it says just speak it i don't pray for people like with the digestive problems i really don't pray for them anymore usually i tell them what can you not eat you'll know if they ever ask you what can you not eat you know what the next thing is going to be go eat it and every time without fail it always works they always go eat what they couldn't eat and they can eat it right there in homer and janice's home we had two cases one was steve rhoden's daughter was allergic to certain vegetables and after the meeting in their home one night they opened up a can of vegetables and she ate them and there she is just set there free no no reaction set free no hoopla no you know 45 minutes of praying didn't take three hours to get in the presence of god we walk in the presence of god same thing with another lady that had a i think the seafood in particular shrimp that's it i don't blame her i wouldn't like shrimp anyway but they went and found some actually happened to have some in the refrigerator cooked it for her right there in a meeting sat there and actually i think she was kind of happy about doing it right there because she was afraid if something did happen she wanted somebody there that could you could watch her with that that fork was a shrimp nothing happened set free it's never failed never failed so that's last night we had a little girl come in brought in that had epilepsy and any there are certain things that i've dealt with enough now that when i hear it i'm kind of like where are they yeah bring them come on because epilepsy 100 never never fails brought her in set her free it's easy to do it is easy once you understand there is nothing that can stand against the name of jesus he's done everything that song run to the battle it says he's trampled down his enemies well he's trampled down but they're under your feet in romans it says and the god of peace will surely brew satan under your feet not under his feet even though our feet is his feet because we're his body just be the person of god read the bible and be the person it talks about in there because they're talking about you all those when he says lay hands on a sick that's that's not just a command it's a prophecy they that believe shall lay hands on the sick it's a prophecy a prophecy that you can choose to fulfill he that believeth in me the works i do shall he do also and greater works than he shall do because i go to the father he went to the father nothing left for us to do but do the works and greater works it's a prophecy you get to choose if you're going to be a partaker or a participant in it it has nothing to do with who you are where you've been what you've done believe me that's i believe that that's one of the reasons god uses me is because if anybody can say well god wouldn't use me god would point me out and say i'm using him why wouldn't i use you see because most of you you've heard the stories of god's deliverance and the healings that he's done in my own life and in my family you've heard these things but and i haven't hidden anything there's just some things i haven't always shared just openly but i haven't lived a perfect life i haven't even lived a good life i'm telling you i was up and down like like a lot of you you know christian saint one day and sinner the next same one day and center the next and the next and the next and the same one day and center the next i lived that way for years dissatisfied why because the power of god wasn't in my life i kept talking about a god that was all-powerful not seeing any of it started getting bored but just keep reading the same books and watching the same tapes and trying to get pumped up again running from conference to conference and camp meeting get all worked up and go out of there thinking this is going to be it and i go home and nothing changes spend my when i was preaching and i would sin big on saturday night and sunday morning be scheduled to preach i'm just being honest with you and the reason i'm telling you this the only reason i'm telling this is to show you that god will use you because i could i could come out here and act like i've just lived a holy life all my life and you know god's just using me and wow and eating all this kind of stuff but i'm trying to tell you i don't care what you've done yesterday is gone yesterday even and so now you have the power to decide your future god wants to work with you in it and i would stand back behind the the wall thing that they had where i was going to preach and stand back there and just pour my heart out to god and say god please i know i was stupid please don't let somebody not receive something from you because of my stupidity please help them deal with me but help them now pull me aside later talk me correct me whatever do whatever you have to do but don't let the people suffer because of what i did and i would go out and then god would heal people and set people free and i was more amazed than they were i'm serious and it's now but once the power guys started coming on a regular basis all of a sudden then the responsibility of the people and that their needs started you started realizing that and the power got being displayed and all of a sudden and i kept laying hands on people and seeing them get healed and then finally one day he said the lord spoke to me and i thought god i don't understand this you're using me and you know they're sin in my life i'm still messing up and i don't understand this and he said he spoke very clearly and he said the people these people that you're laying hands on they're getting healed when you stand before me they could have been a testimony for you but instead there'll be a testimony against you because i'm going to bring them up and say you see this person you remember when they got healed yep you knew i was real and you still stayed in sin and i broke and i said god no more i don't want it anymore and one day it hit me i said if god can use you like this with sin in your life imagine if you get to sin out yes and so we got to sin out to be honest with you wasn't that much of an increase i'm being honest with you i hadn't seen that much difference and then god started saying i recognize faith and i was honoring faith now i'm going to tell you some things and please don't take this as the way to do it but we have not i don't spend long hours in prayer i'm talking about hours and hours you know before every meeting i mean you see me out here yeah we're right up to the meeting we come right in here everything we do what you've seen down here we do by living in the presence of god walking in the presence of god and not getting back and separating myself for three or four hours before meeting and and doing all that stuff nothing wrong with it uh oh somebody didn't trust your cell phone but i don't do that i don't see where jesus had time to separate himself for three or four hours when he was walking through the streets and somebody come up for healing oh you have to wait here i'll be back i'm not ready yet you got to live ready the reason america is the force it is is because we live ready we have special forces navy seals things like that that they live ready they train every day in peace just like tomorrow is a war and that's why whenever something breaks out we're ready you don't have you don't know how many wars have been averted just because our government saw things shaping up and they send in a certain team that kind of nullifies the situation and kept america from a big war and we got we have to live ready we can't you can't go get ready now we haven't fasted for long periods of time with my travel schedule i'll be honest with you it is it is really hard to fast not that and the reason i'm telling this because everywhere i go people want to fellowship with you and christians fellowship over food and they want to take you out and talk with you and fellowship of course i don't get to eat that much because they they'll ask me a question that takes two seconds and then my answer takes 20 minutes and while they're eating i'm talking so i guess it's almost like fasting sid roth said he'd never seen me finish a meal okay but we have what we've done we have not done by prayer and fasting we have not done it i'm being honest with you know i could come out here and you know give you some long story about how prayer and fasting is the key but we have not done that we got started the way i got started was i spent about a couple of months actually just i'd get up in the morning turn on worship music there was a particular cd that i liked that it seemed like every time i turned it on bam boy right there and i would listen to that and i would walk to the house and i would pray and i would pray in tongues and i would pray in tongues the way that i've taught some of you to do it which is what three ways fast hard and loud okay that's why you pray in tongues and i would go after it for a couple of hours that was what i did at the beginning but i wasn't laying hands on people i wasn't doing anything in particular at the time i was just doing it because i had nothing else to do i wasn't getting calls to go here and go there and do these things and right after that we got a call to go to north carolina we went up there ministered and that's how it all started so if you want to say did it start by prayer yeah i guess you can say that because we did do that but since then we haven't spent long periods of prayer most of the time i get up in the morning and you've heard the story of benny hen how he says good morning holy spirit and i do almost the same thing it's but it's not a rich one i don't do it every morning i expect god to walk with me he said he would he said i'll be your god and you'll be my people he said i'll walk in you and talk in you and he said that if i recognize his presence and treat him like he's always with me he'll always be there and he'll show up but if you have a friend that walks with you and you never recognize him you never talk to him then he may be walking along beside you but he's not going to butt in because he's going to realize you know i'm really not needed here i could go somewhere else because i'm really not doing anything but i try to live in the presence of god i try to and it's not the spooky weird thing any more than it is with you just your normal life and as you go through your day you just get up and if you want you can say good morning father you know whatever whatever you want to do just don't make it religious and just walk with him and let him live in you and throughout the day i don't say amen until the night now sometimes i pray for people during the day and it's parenthetical prayers because my day is a prayer that's praying without ceasing and i try to walk in that to where all day long i don't say anything that i try not to don't always make it but i try not to say anything that i wouldn't say in a prayer to god and i just walk with him i mean we don't have to conjure him up he's in us you just reach out and take hold of his hand take over a person's hand when you do that god's taking hold of their hand you hear me when i pray i don't even pray most of the time i don't even pray to god when i minister healing god has nothing to do with it in the sense of me asking him he's already said it why would i want to ask him again he said lay hands on the sick that's what i'm doing he didn't say i have to seek his will for each individual case his will of that is that none should perish what if somebody's dying of some sickness or disease they're perishing that's not his will it's that simple okay now there is another thing too that you have to realize another aspect of this and that is the bible says that if you endure to the end you shall be saved you have to endure to the end well that enduring to the end that's part of the walk of faith you receive healing you accept it and then you endure you go i don't mean you endure the sickness i'm saying you keep walking you don't back off now but how do you we have to get on this because our time is going pretty quick how do you actually minister healing to someone else okay i'll give you now again this is just a guideline and we have different ways that we do it whenever i'm feeling especially aggressive i do it one way whenever i'm maybe tired or i've been ministering for a while and don't feel especially aggressive and just that aggressiveness that comes out then i do it a different way okay let's i'll give you an example let's say i'm fresh charged ready to go aggressive i don't have to say a thing to the person that's why a lot of times when i line people up i like them further apart because if you're too close it's too hard to get to them so you separate them but let's say in in your case let's say you're not gonna be praying for lines of people right away let's say you're praying for one or two at a time that kind of thing well you just bring them up and you can do it several ways one way is if you're very if you get that aggressiveness going and you can do it very easily by praying in tongues a lot loud okay that's how you do it stir yourself up charge yourself up and then you just step forward what i do if you'll notice let me uh let me see somebody point dennis you want to come up stand over here i think this is a you think this is the process right wouldn't you yeah say what let's get it let's get up here where people can see us he's only a little taller than me yeah if i'm feeling especially aggressive i might not because see when people start talking to you if you say what can i do for you they're not going to say well i have diabetes they're going to say well since i was 12 i've had this and it's been causing this and i've been having and then sometimes and the diabetes has caused this and this and by the time you listen to them you're drained it drains it out of you it drains because when you walk up you're charged you're ready to go and really all you need is a name why because every name is under that name so all i want is a name because i want to know who i'm fixing to beat that's all it is you know it's kind of like walking i'm saying what's your name well why because i want to know what to put on your tombstone you see it's that kind of attitude and you say what can i do for you and they'll say well i have diabetes for example okay i'll give that we'll use diabetes as an example so most of the time i don't touch them and please if you're standing behind somebody that i'm praying for please don't touch them and there's a reason for that number one when you touch somebody you impart who and what you are to them and if you've got problems and you're touching her then if i ask to hold her hand then god tells me things about people and he'll tell you things this isn't weird okay it's just he'll just do it to you don't think it's something strange well it's a special gift it may be but you got it too so while guys tell me something about her if you're touching her then i'm going to pick up from you too because your spirits are mingled and so i'll be thinking okay now you need to you know god is saying you need to get rid of that you know drinking habit you got i've never drank and the person behind her is going okay i'll give you another example we were one time this man was standing in front of me and another man was behind him i didn't know he was touching him he just had his hands in the small of his back and i started and i reached out and i put my hands on him he's just standing there and i mean i know power was going in i know it and he's just standing there like well what's supposed to happen and i couldn't figure it out i thought there should be something going on here and all of a sudden i look around behind and the guy behind us standing right there going i'm like get your hands off of him you're it's you know it's it's like an electrical current they were shorting out and he was getting it always going straight you know you stick your finger in a light socket and you grab somebody else and they're you know all over the place so don't touch them don't let anybody touch them when you're praying for them you you touch them and if i'm feeling aggressive that's why you'll notice first i'll be up here and i'll say what's wrong with you or what can i do and they'll say diabetes or whatever it is and then you notice almost invariably i'll take a step or two back why because i need room to pounce okay it's hard to pounce from here okay see in the martial arts we had a thing where we get back and you get set raise that heel so you can get that push off same thing and when all i do is you say well how do you know when to do it well i'm just back here and i've watched my videos and i've seen what i did i didn't notice i did this until i watched my own videos and i realized what was going on inside of me and i was feeling to give you the feeling of what was going on i felt like a lion fixing to jump on this thing and when i did when it rose up inside of me when the line moved forward that's when i moved and i'm not waiting i hate to even say things like that because you're thinking i'm waiting for a feeling i'm not it's whenever i get so fed up with this thing in them and what i'm thinking is i want them free and bless god they ought to be free and it's kind of like one of those things where you just you're a spring held back and all of a sudden it's like bless god now's the time and you jump you have to jump forward now you'll notice when i move forward though see some people think that people fall because when i move forward you know i'm grabbing their head and i'm i'm doing this that's not what i'm doing i've never done that anybody i've ever done that to you you come up and you call me a liar right now because i don't do that i move forward and when i grab a hold of them i bend my arms my body keeps to move but my arms stay still my hands stay in the same place so when i move forward it's like that see i didn't i didn't move her back i'd jump in i stick my fingers in her ears and but i move forward my hands stay still and my body moves why because i'm not going to push her down if god's going to do it he's going to do it i'm not going to do it that's part of the thing that's caused the problem in christianity all the fake stuff so but when i move forward it's that moment when i'm ready to release it's that moment it builds up inside of me and bless god what i want to do is i want to hit him that's what i want to do okay so did somebody say i do too is that yeah but i'm talking about not relatives but when i moved forward it at the moment i touch them i grab them and at the same time i say out of my mouth usually i say something along the lines of receive one word okay and it's fan i mean it's right there and a lot of times you'll see me clap my hands first before i do i'm standing here not then i'll grab him why because people you can go and sit down right now i might call you back but people people are so focused and they're a lot of times they're scared and they've got different things going on they don't know anything you know as far as what's going on so i clap my hands real loud and that kind of shocks them in that second of shocking them that's when i grab them and when i do that because if you just grab them before that see sickness and disease i believe is caused either by directly by a demon or a demonic spirit or it is at least at the root there's demonic force at the root of it sin sickness disease all that at the root so now this will answer some of your questions people say well can i how can i if i'm a christian how can i have a demon if sickness is a demon how can it's real real simple okay paul said that he'd turned over a person for the destruction of the flesh so that their spirit may be saved in that day okay the demon doesn't have your spirit and he's not in your spirit let me tell you where the demon lodges between spirit and soul okay because the bible says that the word of god is sharper than a two-edged sword and it's only it is able to divide asunder between spirit and soul and the way i see it now i'm not saying this is exactly the way it works but i'm just saying the way i see it it's like the spirit and soul are like a clutch that's been let out and there's pressure and when you push it on the clutch it brings a release of pressure you know it opens up between the spirit and soul and that's where the the demon is that's where it's at between the spirit and soul and when i yell and grab them or clap my hands it's like i'm pushing it on the clutch and it separates spirit and soul and lets this thing go because technically the demon doesn't have you you have it okay because you look like my daughter has a devil that's what the lady said to jesus my daughter you look to the bible always every time it says they might say they were possessed of a devil but almost invariably it says my daughter or my child has a devil. see the devil doesn't have you you have it and you're holding on to it and whenever i minister what i do is i open spirit between spirit and soul and i that shocking effect of yelling or whatever i do allows that to open so that you don't hold on to him anymore and you let it go and then i command it to go and it leaves okay that's the best way i can explain it that's and again it may not be just that perfectly theologically okay but that's just the way i see it it works and that yell i used to wonder about yelling because i don't like to yell i like quiet and calm but then i realized one day somebody brought it to my attention actually that yell is out of my spirit and it's i usually use a word like receive or take it whatever it is drill quick and sharp and then somebody said well you know we started talking about actually about martial arts and stuff and the martial arts have something that's similar it's called a kia and the word kia means spirit yell that's what it means you know you always hear them yelling that kind of stuff and it's whenever you yell with your spirit and it keeps you from it if you get hit while you're yelling you don't get hurt and it gives you anywhere from 20 to 30 more power when you hit why because they've learned how to tap into the spirit well i'm not doing it from that side i have found the reality and now i've been able to relate it and understand it better see i had a man tell me one time god's going to use the martial arts that you know to help christianity i'm like no way no no i got rid of them demons and i ain't having nothing to do with them anymore i'm not going you know i was picturing power team you know breaking things and you know karate for christ and all that kind of stuff and you know i thought it was a little bit too much like early crusades you know convert or die you know that kind of thing and so i couldn't see it but then i the way god is using that is he he takes what you know and he shows you examples in the spirit realm well i know warfare that's what i know both from the martial art viewpoint but also from military history and so god uses that and in that that has created my my unique personality and god uses that personality and so that that's the way you minister by laying hands on someone when you lay hands on somebody you're giving them something it's not a formal exercise you're giving them something you're giving them out of your spirit see people say well you know it's just the spirit of god hitting him that's not that's not true if that were true there would never be any need to lay hands on people that's why it's important that you're careful who lays hands on you make sure that whoever lays hands on you you at least want to be somewhat like them because you're fixing to get a good dose of them whenever they touch you i'm real careful about who laid his hands on me very careful and i don't go seeking people to lay hands on me and when people come to me lay hands on me if there is any way possible for the most part if i don't know him it don't happen okay because when they do that there's a certain submission that you place yourself under by allowing them to do that and you get what they've got if they got things you don't want then you're going to get them i've had people lay hands on me i've never smoked a day in my life have never liked it don't want anything to do with it never been tempted in it had people lay hands on me and within 24 hours have a temptation to smoke and i thought that's crazy and i started looking back and every time within 24 hours before that moment someone had laid hands on me so i i'm careful about those kind of things and the funny thing is when you do that you go back to the person that laid hands on you and you say you still smoke don't you and they've a lot of times they would be trying to hide it or something and they look at you like you're a prophet it's just being sensitive to the spirit of god you can learn these things we've made them weird mystical we've made the spirit of god something a realm that you can't touch you just reach your hand through this wall and you reach in and try to grab something out and you come back out with this grab bag or something you have no idea what it is that's not true god is very specific there are laws of the spirit that work that was one thing that attracted me to dr lake so much he was so scientific in his approach to the spirit of god now whenever i deal with diabetes one of the things we do is i break the spirit of diabetes i command the spirit of diabetes to go and never return then i command and the more i know about things for instance i command the pancreas to create the correct amount of insulin and i command the body functions to normalize i will command every organ to operate correctly this is kind of a general outline it's not a cut and dried thing for instance when you deal with cancer first off i break the spirit of cancer i command the spirit of cancer to go then i break the spirit of fear of cancer because that's why you get people healed and then they have a relapse a lot of times because that fear comes back in because the medical community feeds it to you and try to tell you well you know you have a such-and-such opportunity chance of percentage of it coming back and you don't want so they feed you that fear and then after i deal with that then i take authority over the body and i command it to be healed and i command every cell every organ every tissue to be healed in the name of jesus and i minister life through the laying on of hands his spirit comes through my spirit and ministers to the person and when you do that that's why they'll get that that same fight and that same aggressiveness now if i'm feeling aggressive i don't do a lot of that i'll just grab them and command it to be so because the person last night we had music going on and you can't hear the person a lot of times you're praying for can't hear you and you can't hear them you get real close and ask what the problem is and they'll tell you and then when you bet when i back up you'll see me i'll be four or five foot away from and i'll be commanding and they can't hear whatever you watch when they're trying to hear you don't have to hear i'm not talking to you okay if i was talking to you see that's where we get over this stuff about it being soulish you know if if i was talking to you i'd be trying to prime you and make you think there's going to be this i mean it has nothing to do with you see whenever you're fighting whenever you stand before a sick person or some person with a problem there's only two people involved you and the demon god's not involved in the sense that you have to talk to him he's involved through you you represent him you're his david and you're standing before goliath the champion he's come up to defy the armies of israel when an enemy i used to pray when i was a younger i used to pray i want and i would say father i want no disease including cancer and especially cancer to be able to stand in my presence or stand before me i want everyone to be defeated and now we're experiencing that and that's the way whenever you deal with that you're dealing with that that spirit not with a person now when you minister healing to them that's different but first you're dealing with that spirit but you command the spirit to go that's the easiest way to do it whatever if you let me tell you something the more the longer the prayer the less power you're operating in you stand there and pray now i understand what i'm saying don't don't take that as well okay well i can't pray long because that shows i'm not operating no no what i'm saying is generally speaking the more information you have to have the more details you have to have the more specific you have to be before you can get a result the less power you're operating in jesus i assume operated in the ultimate power of the holy spirit and when any time he ministered he just usually said two words be healed he didn't go into a long drawn-out thing and he say well i thought we're supposed to pray until we see results we are and you should you shouldn't give up before then now in lines like this we don't always have time to stand for hours with each person and it shouldn't take that and as we grow you have to remember we've only been doing it like this for a year and we've already grown in the way we minister tremendously in a year and you watch it'll get shorter and shorter in the time we pray for the most part you know why it takes so long to pray for people they expect it if i was to walk up in front of them not ask them a word and say in the name of jesus be healed and put my hand on they'd walk off going well i guess i didn't get nothing that wasn't no big deal but we've been preconditioned to believe a certain thing it has to be this way the man of god is going to come out wave his hand you know seven times and say something and focus focus and you end up being like naaman and it's a real simple thing the man of god didn't even have to come out somebody could come tell me there's a person out here with digestive problems they can't eat food would i need to go out there i could just maybe tell don go just have them go eat what they couldn't eat and if they'll go do it they'll be healed and if they don't they won't was the power there to do it sure it was why because the word of god bible says where the word of a king is there's power and i am a king and a priest under my god just as you are that's the main thing i'm no different than you you have the same tendencies elijah was a man of like passion see we forget that he had the same thing he could get he could get excuse me he could get afraid one minute you know killing the prophets of baal next minute running from his for his life from a woman which is probably the smartest thing he ever did but do you see what i mean do you see what i'm talking about it's just being normal just let god live through you and then you take authority over these things but when you stand before sickness and disease you're just you but you represent the kingdom of god well god knows who you are the devil knows who you are and he doesn't like the fact that we mere mortals can push him around that that he does not like that he's been around a lot longer he thinks he's a lot smarter he has tremendous power that's why he is a foe that you should respect in the sense of you don't turn around and turn your back to him you be smart but you deal with him and if you'll deal with him he has to fall see read tomorrow's headlines we win always look to the future the bible always says we win just put yourself in the future realize what the end's going to be and then come back here and act like you're a man from the future just walking out what you sing we were talking just the other day finish up with this real quick here and i'll take some of your questions where i was talking to don beamer and i said you know a picture like this picture knowing what you know about let's say world war ii okay it was a great battle but we won right we won now picture someone today going back to about oh let's say december 8 1941. pictured the mindset and our entire navy practically had been wiped out at one time all of america was stunned we were furious but in the back of our minds all we could think was we may not win this one you know our whole navy the navy was the big power then and a nation without a navy was not a nation that could defend itself and it sure couldn't wage an effective offensive war they were afraid that japan was going to invade and we couldn't defend our shores japanese submarines sided off california off the coast of california imagine that the the fear all the stuff that was going on in people's minds thinking are we going to do it or can we do this can we gear up fast enough and now picture here you you know you've been back how many of you remember the movie time or the tv show time tunnel remember back from the 60s somewhere through there they would go back into different times it's always thought it was amazing how they went back in time they always went to somewhere special you ever notice that they didn't just go to some time that nobody ever heard of because they would have made a good show but but imagine here you are standing and all of a sudden zip you're back in time december 8th everybody's talking about man i think this is it we can't handle this war in germany in europe now war with japan what are we going to do and you go back no no no wait listen i know the outcome here's what's going to happen you're going to win this you're going to win this we're going to come back you have to win this you don't understand what's going to be taking place there are death camps over there millions of jews are going to die you can't just lay back and do nothing you can't give up you have a destiny to fulfill i'm telling you i've seen it i've seen it there's victory just over you can't there's gonna be a ticker tape parade down madison avenue in new york it's gonna be an awesome prank you're gonna if america gives up we don't fight we don't win this war we're not gonna go to the moon go to the moon man you sound like you're from the moon what do you mean go to the moon no we gotta go we're not gonna we won't be leaders in space exploration we won't do this we won't do that but we will win it's done it's going to happen and people would look at you like you're crazy and that's what happens today i'm telling you we win it is destiny that's your future it's not the bible says i know my thoughts of you they are thoughts of good and not evil god's thoughts of you are not hospital beds and in wheelchairs and ivs in your arms and scars from surgery and that is not god's thought for you his thoughts for you are good thoughts of peace thoughts of of prosperity of life his thoughts of you are you acting like one of his children just doing what he would do if he were in that situation which is what jesus would do laying hands on the sick and watching him get healed that's your destiny you wonder what if if i lay my hands on when they're going to get healed if you lay your hands on them you you're the determining factor not god get serious get bold step out there act like what you act like you know you're what you're talking about don't show weakness don't show it same thing you do in business it's the same thing why because there's still a spirit of man dealing in it and you're dealing against another spirit of man and you're trying to negotiate and you're trying to work these things out and you don't want to show weakness and but yet you need this this backer to come in and back you with the finances but you don't want them to know how bad you need them because when you do that it gives them more leverage against you it's the same thing dealing with sickness and disease you stand and you face them and you you you give this front and it's not a fake front it's the real front so you think you're faking it but that's the real you that's where you're supposed to be but inside you're thinking i hope they don't find out that i'm not like this no no do it anyway and you'll be like this see before you ever are like something you have to act like it first and then it gets to be a part of you i'm telling you i was man okay as aggressive as i am now i was that passive before passiveness is a spiritual force it's a weak spiritual force and the same way it's spirit is still spiritual capacity that will you can gain and if you can exchange god's strength for yours as a weak person is being as strong as they can be do you realize that a weak person is being as strong as they can be but you have to extend exchange your strength which is weakness for god's strength and god at his weakest is stronger than you are in your strongest and you exchange that everything i do it gets very easy won't you i mean think if i handed you something to say would you go give this to somebody else how much power and faith does that take on your part none you just pick it up and take it over there that's all i'm doing i'm just picking up his message and taking it to the people god says you're free you're free god says you're free he sent me to come tell you you're free that's all there is to it you can do that he's put it in you it's it's fun doing what i'm doing i have a blast i i enjoy it but i also enjoy being able to sit around and fellowship with people and i like to hear the testimonies of sister anne and the group from havana illinois now i don't know if y'all know she was from havana illinois because they were talking about havana yesterday and i thought this is not our cuba delegation okay savannah illinois and it's fun to hear the testimonies come back and i had people come up last night and even today and tell me thank you for being our spiritual father and i'd never met him before but they've gotten a hold of the tapes it's amazing you have no idea how thankful i am to god for what he's doing and you also have no idea how i go back to god and always remind him god it's just curry here you're dealing with because i know who i am and who i'm not and but that's the strength is to know who you are and who you're not because i know what he can do through anybody that's the whole message amen okay very quickly you got some questions there and i will they're kind of they're they're wanting to work with you and they're submissive you understand what i'm saying and they're ready to receive and that's a good way to show god you're ready to receive and then now notice this is the important thing i'll show you two ways one is i'll say okay repeat this after me we're going to pretend you have diabetes again yeah we'll do that why don't we do hypoglycemia okay that'll work hypoglycemia okay in the name of jesus now i'll tell them now this is why i'm not feeling aggressive and like i said i usually am feeling aggressive so this is a lot of times when i've got down the end of the healing line per se maybe i'm feeling a little more tired and i'm kind of well which that hasn't been happening lately actually i get stronger as i go along so it's getting more fun anyway i'll tell them okay repeat this after me and i say father father in jesus name in jesus name i believe i believe when my brother when my brother lays his hands on me lays his hands on me i shall receive my healing i shall receive my healing i'm gonna get it i'm gonna get it because you bought it because you bought it you paid for it you paid for it you paid for it with the blood of jesus he paid for it with the blood of jesus i can't do anything to deserve it i can't do anything to deserve it i can't be good enough to deserve it and i can't be so bad and i can't be so bad bad that you won't give it to me that you won't give it to me but i can't take it but i can take it just like a hug just like a hug and that's what i do now and that's what i do and when my leaving here without it in the name of jesus when my brother when my brother lays his hands on me i shall receive my healing is this so yes in the name of jesus right now receipt so be it in jesus name hypoglycemia i command you to go so be it in jesus name now why do i do it that way several reasons number one i'll tell them raise your hands let's go do it again like i told you that's why i told you when i do that then i'll say okay now repeat this after me now if they and i try to tell them repeat it just like i do and this time say it real low and calm don't get into it okay i'll tell them okay repeat this after me father in the name of jesus i believe see that even throws me off i have to stop and think i believe when my brother lays his hands on me i shall receive my healer i'm going to get it and say i'm listening to her i'm listening see how calm and quiet she is okay what that's telling me is there is no fight in her she's just there hoping and what i'll do and i'll get her to the very and i'll say there's nothing i can do to deserve it and i can't be so bad that you won't give it to me and see whenever i ask why do i ask those two things because those are two ends of the spectrum that hangs everybody up one is they think they can deserve it and you can hear if you listen to them when they say that if if i said okay i can't be good enough to deserve it and they say i can't can be good enough to desert if you hear that that little stutter in their voice that means they're hanging up on works they think well but i've been a sunday school teacher for five years i deserve to be healed he should heal me see when you hear that you back up and you go at it again and you find out that's where they're hanging up at and if they're not hanging up then you go right on through because you know they're clear on that area and then at the end i say and i can't be so bad that you won't give it to me and if they're thinking yeah but you know how bad i've been or i got this you know that's in if they hang up on that and they kind of hesitate or they're real low in it then you can tell that that's what they're hanging up on that they're thinking well but i've been too bad and if they are you stop right there and you deal with it and you tell them you can't be good enough to deserve how can you be good enough to deserve this how can you be good enough to deserve anything from god we don't want what we deserve from god we want we don't want justice we want mercy that's what we want and mercy heals so you go at it from that route that's the way we do it and then but if you don't get any response on that if they're okay in those areas and they go right on through it now you hear the passiveness in your voice and when i get to the end i say you believe that's going to happen yeah no you know what we do then we go around the mountain again what is going around the mountain we start all over again and i say okay now repeat this after me say said just like i said and i i take him to the whole thing again that's why it takes time sometimes he said why do you do that because i'm i'm trying to connect with her spirit and i'm trying to get that fight up out of her and as she see i can hear it you can hear the fight you can hear it there is a sound of war there's a sound you can hear it you can hear determination in their voice and whenever the shoe starts getting loud and pretty soon but you know i'm like they'll be yelling back at me is this going to happen yeah and we end up yelling at each other bam bam back and forth i'm going to get it you're going to get i'm going to get it it's going to be it'll be this way but you believe this i believe this i'm going to get it and half the time i could i could just tell them you already got it you don't even know it but i don't do that because then they go oh and then they'll switch back into that motive but he didn't lay hands on me and so instead i say you do that and then they say and i didn't receive and that's when i yell and jump on them and that split second everything is done in that split second they're free life comes in and they're made free that's the way it works and it but it's that it's that fight that you have to raise up out of them if you don't raise the fight up in them if you don't have the power to set them free okay oh you can go sit down i'm sorry you there there are two ways to get healed you heal the sick or they get healed on their own faith if you don't have enough power to get them healed then you have to have them work with you and that that's the way i started was by having them pray with me that was the only way i prayed and everybody thought wow curry was getting people no 90 of the time it was their faith it wasn't my faith but my faith grew as i watched people getting healed and then i almost quit using that method because now i'm fully aggressive and you know most of the time it's it's it's almost like a preliminary you know kind of like let's get all this out of the way so we can get to the good stuff but now do you see how that works so now you can do that with every sickness and disease and wow i've got a medical dictionary that i've been reading and i found out certain things for one thing if you have children between the ages of one and three you must confess life over them life and health put your hands on them every day and demand life and health and strength into them because if you don't there are particular diseases that like to take out children between one and three there are certain types of cancer that come in between one and three and there's another type that comes in between three and five and you almost have to shift and i'm learning these things and i in dealing with a lot of people i hear different diseases and i check them out afterwards and i find out a lot of times words of knowledge see when you grab a hold of their hand you're connecting with them and the reason i grab the hand is because i want to focus on them and not people around me and so i'll grab their hand and i'll start speaking and i'll say as i pray in english i'll pray everything i know in english and then i keep speaking in english and what comes out after that is a word of knowledge it just comes out that way and it'll do the same thing for you i'm just telling you how to do it you can activate it and you start praying and the words that come out listen to them and you'll pray things that you have no way of knowing and they'll be going yeah that's right that's right so just pray what you know and then keep praying in english if you need to pray and tongue some but go back over into english okay so that's important now i think what else we need to thank you sir what role and under what circumstances and healing does the constant and repetitive confession of the word take place or what place does it serve such as hours and hours of confession okay confession for me first is i confess the scriptures to get to believe them to get them in me then i confess them because i believe them until you're confessing them because you believe them all you're doing is building you're not really doing a lot of good okay you understand what i'm saying you have to believe in your heart what you say comes to pass and then it works but until you believe in your heart it's not working so you say it until you believe it in your heart and then you can speak it one time and it'll work see that's this is the balance between what wigglesworth said you pray once for a person you pray more than once you're in unbelief well that's real good for wigglesworth if if you're at that point fine i promise you i only pray for a person as many times as necessary i don't i don't pray if one one time gets the job done i pray once if two times pray twice it doesn't matter i pray and i maybe if wigglesworth was right maybe i wasn't praying in faith until i prayed that last time you know maybe it was a fifth time okay but i'm not praying and unbelief maybe i was praying and unbelief the first four times and the fifth time was the the prayer of faith doesn't matter to me as long as person gets healed i can care less how many times i have to pray but confession works to build it into your heart what else should you be saying can you think of something better to be speaking speak the word walk around i used to walk around all the time in the name of jesus i lay my hands on a sick and they do recover they do recover why because the bible says so i do great i do the works of jesus and greater works why because he went to the father and so it's up to me now to do the greater works you confess those all the time but i'll tell you what it's not just in confession don't don't do a time of confession and then lapse over into unbelief in your and you're speaking day to day you hear me talk you won't hear death come out of my mouth now i'm not saying the word death i'm saying sickness death lack oh you know these kind of things because no matter what doesn't matter if in the areas of finances if nobody gave a dime i'm still going to make it why because you're not my source god is my source never been we were telling god at one point we needed to do what we were doing we needed a minimum i think was a thousand dollars a week is what we needed had what we had to have to do what we were doing and i would go places and minister and they would give me four hundred dollars one of the natural i could say we're not gonna make it i need more than that i'm gonna have to speak somewhere else i want to do something else real quick and i would go back go to my post office box there'll be six hundred dollars in the mail god brings in exactly and i started telling god okay that's good now now it's grown we need more than that and it always comes one way or another because god is my source it will come one way or another i don't care about it i don't care what it takes i'm i'm looking forward to the time whenever i can give my tapes away free that's what i'm shooting for i want to be able to give my i want to be in a financial position where i can give all the tapes away free that's really what i want to do because i believe in the message that i'm preaching and if i believe in it then i believe everybody ought to have the tapes and i don't want people not getting the tapes because they don't have the money i want people to look at a price tag and say oh i don't have that much you know if you don't talk to me i'll work with you okay believe me because i want you to have the information because i i believe with all my heart that this message will change your life it'll change the life of those around you did you have to go through a lot of deliverance to set yourself free of past generational and dormant demons okay i was in a situation where i was set apart isolated for 27 days and that's when i got free of martial arts and i prayed there was nobody there to do it for me i just told god i want out i want out of this thing and i want it out of me there were 22 principles of martial arts that i was teaching set principles whenever i received deliverance by the hand of god no person prayed for me or laid hands on me i felt experienced put it that way 22 separate manifestations entities leave one for each principle i didn't know that i didn't think about that i wouldn't you know but i knew it as they left and each one was a principle behind the martial arts that's what i got free from okay let's talk about generational curses now if you have information that disagrees with what i'm saying please bring it to me okay i'm not talking about ideas or that kind of stuff i'm talking about information bona fide fact scripture is what i'm talking about in my family the past generational curses should have been drinking smoking that kind of thing okay i've never drank i've never smoked what's your answer shouldn't i have had major problems with that if it was a generational curse no the bible says that every man's gonna answer for his own sins those generational curses now here's what happens demons energize bad habits and sins and they will if they find a family that likes those things then every generation they'll come to the next generation and say your daddy like this your granddaddy like this you are like this and then you start believing the lie my granddaddy did it my dad did it what am i supposed to do i can't beat this thing they couldn't beat it i can't beat it and we have built in in the christian church fear i'm telling you the blood washes away everything the bible says the bible says not now i'm not i'm not saying there aren't problems that come i'm not saying that but you have to understand the direction here the bible says if any man be in christ he's a new creation behold all things are new old things are passed away and he says that all things are new all things are of god okay where's generational curses in there you're a new creation walk in it yeah but but brother i have this problem okay that doesn't mean it's a generational curse i mean it may come to the generation doesn't mean you have to participate in it all you have to do is say no you be the one that stops it i stopped it i didn't participate why because when i was nine years old i made a vow to god i'll never touch alcohol i'll never smoke i'll never do drugs actually i didn't know much about drugs at that time but that just kind of automatically went into it and i've never broken that vow not once and i lived in the nightclubs i'd go in and dance but and people would buy me drinks and they would set them on my table and i would never touch them every new years everybody's drinking champagne all that kind of stuff and everybody oh well you know it's new years you can do it now nope if i break it just once i'll break it again there is a strength in barriers if you ever break them it's harder not to break them the next time and it gives you strength of character to say no no is always more anointed than yes it's a fact the anointing does not make you make right decisions right decisions makes you anointed that's the way it works now those demons will come to you and say you are like these things but you have the right to refuse them and break them off of you and stop it you will answer before god you're not going to say but my daddy but my granddaddy but so and so now sickness and disease they may come yeah but still they may come you know they might you know you might have a something in your family that runs in your family all that means is that that demon has found a family that will put up with this disease that's all it means it doesn't mean your god has put this thing in your family to teach you something it's amazing the whole family needs to learn the same thing this little child they said there are certain people that are certain parents or have a certain propensity toward producing a child that would have a certain type of disease what i guess god's trying to teach that child something because of the parents get real get over and start serving a real god he ain't trying to teach you nothing to sickness and disease except that he hates it once you get rid of it amen okay i need to end now but i'll tell you what we will we will cover a lot more of these questions this evening if you have more questions please get them to us what i intend to do i am in the process of writing a book on healing that i believe will be a a definitive theology of healing it's going to have everything in it the questions the objections all the things that we've talked about what we have found how to minister healing specifics about diseases about certain diseases why certain people get certain diseases can i tell you something just real quick last thing this is really important the only reason i'm bringing up gotta find a place for this stuff thank you man think about this satan you see some people that are hit real quick bam with stroke or heart attack or something satan tries to take them out generally those are people that are very aggressive people they're very high energy type of people the people that get diseases that it seems that it just takes away their life over a period of time and it's slow and drains their life and gradually steals and kills and destroys their life over a period of time is slow those are usually passive people you know why satan tries to kill people that are aggressive real quick before they can mount a counter attack he wants you out of the picture before you can hit back but if you're passive he likes to take a slow time with you and torture you and torment you because he knows he can get away with it if you would you say well i'm just not an aggressive person that's bull you have the spirit of the lion or the tribe of judah in you you yeah i'll follow you over to the mall next time somebody gets that parking space we'll see how non-aggressive you are okay you'll get real aggressive real quick i'm telling you you get aggressive now here's a drawback to that if you get aggressive you probably won't deal a whole lot with certain types of diseases but the ones you will deal with will be real quick and real fatal so you have to deal with them real quick and you have to generate life in you so that they can't come on you see i have great success with cancer and historically anybody that has a healing ministry that has great success with certain diseases whenever they get tired and they back off and they take that defense down the very disease they have the most effectiveness against is the one that kills them and i'm telling you i like dr sumrall he said he was going to be old and grey-headed the lord showed him that's when he was going to go when he was old he said whenever he had shown his power to the last generation well pastor sumrall has now gone on to be with the lord and i'm assuming that he he did exactly what god said he showed his power to the last generation we're it i know i'm going to stay strong healthy and aggressive and i am not going to succumb to cancer epilepsy diabetes these are things we have 100 success rate with 100 we always win even if the person dies first we have to raise them up we always win i'm telling you i'm going to stay strong and aggressive and you can do the same thing don't think that we hadn't had battles we have we've had things when i was praying for the sick things that you know i was praying for people that had sometimes some of the same symptoms i did and what's bad is whenever you have a symptom of something you don't know what it is and you talk to somebody and they get that symptom and they tell you they know what the disease is and they tell you what it is you're like no i don't want that you start you know no okay so anyway got to finish let's pray father in jesus name i bless your people lord more than anything else i ask that you give your people a will to fight a will to stand a will to be your people that they will uphold your glory in jesus name bring out the divine fight in the spirits of
