How to measure for a getback whip

all right hey everybody what's up um so this is redneck side motorcycle whips we make custom motorcycle whips make them out of paracord chain and whatever else we decide to make them out of but here we have a motorcycle chain style whip and we've got several options for the ends we have the hidden fist this is a one inch steel ball bearing in the end of your whip we have our havoc spikes these are another option another style this is six aluminum spikes on the end of a motorcycle whip so what we want to go over is selecting your whip and length for your bike so we recommend for getting the most accurate length for your specific bike and bars whatever style bars you have and depending on the bike you may ride everything may vary and be did a little slightly different so what you do is you measure from behind the bars to the top of your floorboard this one reads 40 inches so if you're getting any type of spikes hidden spikes or not hidden spikes by our havoc spikes or our piston spike or a skull on the end if you have a hard object on the very end of your width such as this we do not recommend measuring pasture floorboard your floorboard is going to be the length you want so the end of your whip reaches and does not go past your floorboard this is so your whip will not drag going into turns you have plenty of clearance this right here with the bike on the kickstand leaning has about six inches of clearance before the grounds do once you bring the bike up you'll have about a foot of clearance so havoc spikes the piston spike you don't want to measure past your floorboard once again you measure from your clutch lever your brake lever whatever side you're going to ride with your whip on both sides are going to be the same if not you're a little crooked so clutch lever to floorboard for your length if you're having a hard object on the end if you want and prefer a little bit longer whip you can go with the hidden fist option or a plain tassel option this is so you can get the most length on your bike you can actually go all the way to the ground because the only part hitting the ground will be the tassels this is more or less so you can get the length but you're not tearing up your whip we actually ride with a 49 inch the 48 inch whip so it's just each rider is going to have their own preference on length but if you want the most length you can get we recommend going with the hidden fist option all our whips are done with panic snaps release snaps so you can hook it to your lever pull it straight down and it comes off with the quick release pull this is our chain style motorcycle chain style with the knuckles just add for a cool aggressive look this is the hidden spike or havoc spike option once again it's six aluminum spikes on the end of the whip this one is more ideal for the length for our bike because of the hard spikes on the end so these do not tear up by hitting the ground while we're riding this is actually a whip that is done for a customer you can purchase these at rednecksidemotorcyclewips.com check us out we're also on facebook redneckside motorcycle whips llc so here not we have probably one of our most popular styles this is the brotherhood style motorcycle whip once again this is a full braid paracord style with the brotherhood skull and the havoc spikes option this one here is od green and black now this whip being that it has the havoc spikes is a bit long for our bike because we're not looking to drag this off the ground [Music] and these have a little flex to them so once again if we was to select this whip style for our bike we would measure from the lever to the floorboard at 40 inches and no longer this is an awesome whip like i said it's one of our most popular styles we have several other end options and styles available also so check us out redneck rednecksidemotorcyclewips.com or find us on facebook see you all next time peace
