How To MAX OUT RAPPORT in LOST ARK & Why It's Important

hi everyone welcome to my channel today i'm gonna teach you everything you need to know about the rapport system in lost ark we're gonna we're gonna go through everything from the best npcs to where to get your gifts traveling merchants and also the adventure tone because all of these are strictly connected um to each other and the rapport system has a lot to do with all of them how it all works because we kind of skipped that part is when you interact with these specific npcs for example i'm in phaeton right now working on on this zone um you can play them in modes yeah these are the emotes that this particular person accepts to be played and then you get a little bit of rapport with them um in order to complete them also you can show them in modes some npcs have more emotes that you can show some npcs have more songs that you can show etc gifts is a big part and this is a good segue for us to get into the gifts um gifts is a big part of your progression with npcs and there are a variety of places to get gifts from before we start and i think it's almost yeah it's almost the time for us to do our our gift our upward gift run and i'm gonna do that with you together so you can actually see what i'm talking about so um gifts give you depending on their quality they give you various um amount of rapport with that npc all of these um legendary affinity rapport gifts give you 2 000 points of over upward with that npc however the purple ones as you can see they give you a various amount of them depending how much that particular npc likes that gift i personally never deliver gifts that are under 360. unless i'm really i'm really desperate to finish an npc that evening because i want to go to sleep thinking that okay i'm done with that npc or i'm done with the stage and i've acquired my gift from him or her then i do give 330. gifts as well in general i keep them because there's always going to be another npc that will like this as a 450 as opposed to this one right here you have for example the book of survival luthia also here in in phaeton actually likes the book of survival as a 450 gift since it's time for us to get going to farm these gifts there are various places where you can get them from but you can also farm them so i have here on this character i have a bifrost path to camping the merchants there are traveling merchants all over the place and we're going to open my email so i can actually see where i need to go so at 12 30 server time we have punic arohandel northwest argentine tortoise west lutera and retramis i'm going to show you where to get these things in a moment i just want to show you um first of all how to get them so i have bifrost slots to places where these traveling merchants spawn and these traveling merchants are really really important to let's say camp if you're into these things not only because of the rapport items but also because of the cards they give let's see if we got lucky with this one not really because we got a purple rapport item for 10 000 silver we're gonna buy this we're also gonna buy the card i always buy the card regardless if that particular set of cards is something that i'm going to use on this particular character or not i buy the card for the future some npcs are let's say better than others simply because they have fewer rapport items that they sell each of them has a chance to either give you an epic or a legendary grade rapport item for example the npc that comes that appears in anika that is a great npc to to camp at least that one oh we got so lucky for for the tram is also with a with a legendary grade um rapport item this one does cost 80k silver so this requires you to kind of focus on farming your silvers in some other places as opposed to just letting it pile up naturally but anyway we got really lucky here and also we're going to buy the card super super cool we have west lotera so this is what i was saying this npc right here um this npc has a chance of giving you one of the four cars one of the four um um uh wait this is judea one of the four um rapport items right and out of those four only one is legendary so this one has a 25 chance of giving you a legendary item however the npc in anika only sells two types of rapport item one purple and one um legend one epic one legendary so because of that the anika npc has a um has a 50 chance of giving you the legendary rapport item so it's a very worthwhile npc to farm in that sense each traveling merchant also gives you cards um the anika merchant on top of the fact that it has a 50 chance of giving you a legendary rapport item the anika merchant also gives you the legendary whey card other places to get uh rapport items are for example the cash shop this one also gives you in the second tub of the mario secret shop this is the box right here sold for 56 crystals if you would go and want to buy crystals this is about 320 gold at the moment of the video for a um a box of three i believe um yeah three and this is a selection box this is very important because from this box you can select the epic report item that gives you 450 points of rapport with the npc that you're currently working on right another place that you can get report items are for example the calendar rewards quite frankly today we received um 10 boxes of this purple and they're also a selection they occasionally give you from there as well and there are two more places where you can get these upward items one of them being um just gathering in general right you you gather around the world um and you have a chance of dropping rapport items in the same batch as your as your gatherables um and the other place let's just quickly um check tortoise as well the other place that you can get rapport items are is um for example the platinum fields this is also um there are specific bushes in the platinum fields that if you gather them they have a 100 chance of dropping you a rapport item lastly and i will want to show you also this particular npc um is there is an npc that you can spend uh tokens right to get rapport items i know we're wasting a little bit of time and we don't have much time from the 25 minutes initially scheduled but i'm um we're going to find the tortec merchant as well so this one the providence stone npc these npcs you can find them in each of the zones around the world not on the island most merchants offer you a selection of two chests one of them um since we're in tortoic one of them is a tortoise grapp or chest and the other one is a gianna rapport chest very important to note that the items inside the tortoise are purchased besides the legendary because those as i said give you 2 000 points of rapport regardless of the item but the purple ones are specific for this zone so if you're working on your adventure time for tortoic then you might want to consider spending your providence stones on uh tortoise rapport chest because for example um um moka moka one of the npcs that you need to get acquainted with here and max out offers you 450 or upward points for a mococo carrot so because of that it's important if you're working on islands for example you should maybe choose these um this box right here which give gives you epic ravport items that has a chance to give you 450 points with a specific npc around the sea of of guyana right which is the see here on the on the way on the east side of of the map providence stones can be farmed in a variety of places inside the game but the best place to get them are the platinum fields the gathering dungeons every gatherable that you gather there gives you a random amount of providence stones and then obviously the more tickets you have for platinum fields the more profit and stones you can get the more gifts you can acquire not only gathering outside right in the open world gives you a chance to drop these rapport items but it also has a chance to drop you a ticket to enter um the platinum field and thus get even more providence stones providence stones also can be acquired from some yellow quests those mobs that have a bull's head on the minimap those also drop a little bit of providence stones yellow quests some purple quests some of the islands give you providence stones not something that you can let's say continuously farm then again the platinum fields is not something that you can continuously farm either because it's rng if you get a ticket from that days of gathering for you or not event islands give you providence stones um normal missions from your stronghold give you providence stones the better the rank at the end the more providence stones you get as well not to mention that the npcs that occasionally appear on your housing plot they some of them also sell epic or legendary rapport items and lastly the traveling boat merchants that you can find in any major port sell you seven boxes per week of epic grade report items now let's finish up tortoic as well and see if maybe we got lucky no anika spawn at this time i talked about resources and where you can find the spawns of these even though i know them by heart you most likely don't um there are a couple of websites that i use for example i use uh inven global um perfect first spot second spot actually we check we found him we didn't get um we didn't get the legendary one but that's actually perfectly fine anyway so the resources the resources that i was talking about um i actually was watching them right here this is an email that i sent to myself to with the zones where at different times these are server times right here and these are the server times at which i personally am free during the day in order to camp these npcs this is for am and also p.m to be kept in mind they spawn at the same in the same zones at the same time all the time and you can keep farming them right if this is what you want to do you can you can visit these npcs three times a day and get these only you can see all of the npcs and also what gifts they give you at various tiers if you if you click for example then if you click one of them you can also see how much rapport points do you actually need in order to max out an mpc or get to the next stage etc very very important also the music super super cool this is my basic my number one j i before this became a thing i actually used the original version of invent the korean version because they have kind of the same thing on this is much better sorted and also in english anyway they also have the songs that you can use for various npcs and also um the possible emotes that you can use gifts are also here lastly i would like to talk about the best npcs um to to max out with i don't think there is such a thing as the best npcs i think it depends on what you're currently interested in doing for example one of the first maps uh one that i finished my adventure tom at 100 and was uh shoe shire simply because i really wanted poppy and also jude now jude gives me a rare rare stronghold sailor and also poppy gives me a rare stronghold sailor this at the beginning of the game was very important for me simply because i wanted better chances for my stronghold missions in order to get the tokens and then get even more goodies from the merchants that spawn at my stronghold so for me it was really important to to get shoeshire simply because it had two stronghold sailors strong crusaders that are actually quite good as well not every stronghold sailor is good people generally consider the best npcs the ones that give you something for your character's progression as well i personally don't really agree with that i think that if you have different focuses in the game like for example you want to do a stray you should focus on black fang to have her as a sailor as opposed to focusing on some other npc that gives you some gold however there are some npcs that help you with your character's progression overall or how your characters feel like feels like the npcs that give you giant hearts right um giant hearts eventually give you skill point potions killed by points just keep on pointing so people tend to focus on npcs such as nineveh for the giant hearts such as blue-eyed calvasus for the giant heart sasha also in argentine gives you a giant heart these are people's priorities also npcs that help with masterpieces that have them as a reward because people want these bags of gold the same goes for for the island souls people sometimes do um affinity with npcs on islands for the um island seoul simply because they want to reach 20 really fast like maybe elder toto maybe henry um on the romance island so it depends on people's preferences some people prefer the punic in pcs not only because of the gold but also the engraving uh the engraving box zinnervale also has an engraving box that he offers i'm not yet ready to enter the even to go to their islands for zinnervale and mari at the moment if i would be at gunpoint having to choose an npc that i think is the best npc in low stark it would have to be faith on luthia not only because she's very well balanced in between the rewards and how much rapport that she needs she's not as grindy as nineveh she's not as easy as other npcs so it's a perfect balance there but also she gives you a good amount of gold the bleed rune which is a nice rune in general and also the luthia card which is a card part of a small set of cards but very interesting set to have very useful also for content that you can even get to awaken for the first stage pretty easy yeah generally speaking people also focus to have nine maps completed in at a hundred percent for the ikea tokens ikea tokens which if you look at the rewards they give you for eight a greater skill point potion people like this and want this and also for nine and extra by frost uh key so it's important to have nine maps finished at 100 percent and that's why people um sometimes focus on these npcs that don't really give you fantastic rewards themselves but they help you achieve a different goal with ikea tokens uh i hope this guide helps you have a better time understanding
