another thing that is worth learning about is lurping and tweeting they are both similar Concepts just being able to move smoothly from one point of data to another this is useful for everything from movement to UI but personally I use lean tween in order to animate my UI I set up a base script which I can use to animate movement scaling fading in and out and I can also use different types of smoothings with these animations these two videos go over the basics of lean tween as well as how you might make a script like mine
