right we're doing rhinestones tonight i'm going to cut some templates i probably still by far the most requested is doing rhinestones and cutting the templates and talking about the settings and brushing in the stones and heat pressing and everything so we're going to do that however i am going to mix it up a little bit and we have not used this cutter in a long time so can you guys see not that cutter but can you see the other cutter what cutter is that back there who knows who can tell instagram it's that one over there tick tock it's that one right there youtube it's that one right there so i haven't cut with this cutter and i'm going to use it tonight as well in a long time on alive so a ton of you have been asking for it because i've been using the maker a lot more and i have been using the cameo a lot more but that is a cricut explore error too okay the makers up top the explorer 2 and obviously some of the templates and a little bit bigger ones i'm going to be cutting on the graph tech because we want it to go a lot faster because otherwise the live may be like four hours long right so but i do want to i am going to cut one of the templates on the explorer too to show you bringing it into design space and making sure that your circles are the right size and getting it cut and all of that stuff okay so here's what we got tonight i am going to make a beach design so the beach design i'm going to do i already cut the template for this one so we're going to make probably tonight we're gonna make two shirts and we're gonna make two rhinestone window decals okay so one of the shirts i'm gonna make is i'm on beach time and it's going to be a three color design okay three color design i'm on beach time this one has around 1400 stones in it just over just under 1400 1300 and change okay 1300 and change so we got that one that we're going to brush in the stones press it all of that and then the other one i got i get a lot of questions as far as taking a design out of a vector file so i'm going to show you in the trw design wizard just how to do something real quick because when it gets into a detailed design it can be it can be very difficult okay i'm wearing that shirt right now that's awesome nicole it can be difficult when you're getting too big of a detail design but i want to show you kind of a way where you can do it pretty easy in trw design wizard and coreldraw to take an existing design and still create a cool rhinestone design to where it doesn't have to take a long time with a ton of editing and everything else okay um the cricut joy i've used the qriket joy i'm actually bringing the cricket joy which is right there i'm bringing that into the warehouse tomorrow because bobby wants to do a few videos on it so but i have believe me i've cut templates with the cricut joy as well okay i definitely cut them with the crooked joy as well and then um what else do we got so we got that we'll cut in there we're cutting with the graftec and then like i said we're also going to do a couple rhinestone decals now if i'm doing decals with rhinestones only what material do i want to use which one if i'm doing rhinestones only let me know who's got me jessica lee thank you so much not needed but appreciated thank you um and i also i'm coming in here let's see here i see you guys now okay it was delayed a little bit there yes bling anything material that is correct so bling anytime you're doing rhinestones only you're going to be using the bling anything material htv anything remember needs that initial layer of heat transfer vinyl and then the rhinestones going on top of that so rhinestones only you cannot remember you cannot get away with htv anything for rhinestones only that's where bling now you can get away with heat transfer vinyl and then rhinestones with the with the bling anything and you can kind of use bling anything for both even though htv anything looks nicer and it stays clear but you can get away with bling anything for both however don't try to cheat it i'm telling you i'm not telling you to try and get you to spend money on htv or bling anything if you do try to do just rhinestones on htv anything i promise you those stones will fall off and when you sell it to your customer the stones are going to fall off because there's a special material that we put onto the bling anything to make those stones hold better all right okay so let's get this going let's get this going um oh the flip-flop design is a brand new design was it in the design giveaway by mistake okay that is a brand new design that i just created today so it was just probably in that category by mistake um you do get 65 off the design with the trw release 65 though right matt i have proven it before i i just took it out bobby thank you okay so first thing we're gonna do is i'm gonna turn on the heat press real quick let me get it to and i'm gonna put the press at 325 degrees and set it for about 15 seconds so i would say first thing we want to do is let's cut a template real quick we'll cut that flip-flop design okay we'll cut that flip-flop design so let's do it i'm gonna bring you guys down here tik tok let me get you guys down here and then instagram i'm gonna bring you guys over here as well so hopefully you can see some of this i'm doing remember in order to in order to have a chance to win the this is the other design that we're gonna make okay but let me go to the flip-flop design now here's what's really cool and i want to explain to you guys okay when any of you that have the cricut explore air the cricut maker the cricket joy when you're cutting these you're going to use the svg file where you're actually and and i actually put into the file the size that you need to cut the design okay however i'm also going to show you tonight by the way i haven't even asked yet let me know what cutters we have here tonight let me know what cutter you have what cutter you work with if you have multiple colors let me know you have a cameo and a graphtec let me know you have the explore air in the maker give me some feedback here what are we working with tonight what's everybody got cutter-wise and if you don't have one yet just but i don't have one yet got a scanning cut got a maker got a maker got a cameo got a scan and cut cameo graphtec maker explorer air explorer air explorer air holy cow explore errors graphtec a jaguar a cameo 3 a us cutter a cameo shirt cuts a lot a gray cutter a cameo 3 explore air 2 maker maker and explore air silhouette and maker joy and explore air okay so a boatload of cameo boatload of crickets um handful of graphtecs a few gcc's and a few scanning cuts i see okay awesome so just remember you're going to size it to what it says when you bring the file in but like i said in design space i'm going to show you how to kind of fix it in case you don't have that sizing maybe maybe you get a file from somewhere else maybe you going to do this kind of rhinestone wise and then i'm going to open up this downloads and let me bring in our flip-flop design real quick and that is this one right here okay so our flip-flop design i didn't want it to be too large okay again it's made for kind of a car window or a computer laptop or something so it's 3.7 inches tall by 4 inches wide got it so if i want to cut this on my cutter okay and i want to color separate it what i'm going to do is just go to templates and i'm going to hit vinyl overcut and then that's going to do all my color separations for me now i want to send this over to my this one we're going to do on the graph deck so i'm going to send this over to my graphtec and we will get this thing cut so let me bring you guys over there and let me see the best way to tick tock comments coming up here so i'm gonna start over with this so this is the magic flock template material all right how many of you have never used let me know i want to know this how many of you have never used magic flock how many of you have never cut a template before let me know if you've never used magic flock if you've never cut a rhinestone template let me know here's the reason why i asked that a lot of people don't know this okay when you have a magic flower template like this right here the magic plug for a five yard roll is 65 okay so it's not cheap right however if you do the math on it it is pretty inexpensive and the reason why i say that is once i've cut this template so let's just say i used two feet for this template here right around two feet well that two feet might be let's just i'm just throwing out a number might be five dollars in material cost okay and the first shirt that i make i got five dollars in magic flat cost but the second shirt that i make with the same templates now it's down to 250 in cost for each of those shirts but you know what the 10th shirt that i make right now i'm at 50 cents and cost the hundredth shirt that i make of this beach time i'm on beach time design now i'm down to five cents in cost so that's what's so nice about the magic flock template material and i'm gonna show it and explain it all every time you're just gonna keep reusing that same template change the color of the rhinestones that you use and make a thousand shirts out of that one template if you want okay so i'm gonna load the magic flock into this is the little bit older version of the graphtec the newer one is the ce 7000 the 40 inch version uh it won't lose your stickiness pat as long as you put it back each time okay but the 40 inch or the the ce 6040 or 7040 is the 15 inch version i recommend business wise if you can afford it and you're getting into a cutter like this to get the ce 7060 which is the 24 inch version because now you machine cut before i should have probably cut on the explore air 2 first and then cut on this it's going to be reversed you're going to see this and then you'll see that and you'll be like whoa all right that is good there so i'm going to hit one to bring it out and then i'm going to grab the corner up here at the top and we're going to pull this it's so beautiful and then we're gonna pull the second part of the design don't you just love it when it hits every single circle perfectly that's what we call perfection right there let's go all right heat press is up to 255. you can see now again those of you who don't know this right here okay this right here is trash now okay i could save this little part if i wanted to do a custom name or something but this is trash we don't need that anymore now we need to pick some colors for our flip-flops i have an idea for colors i'm kind of excited to see what these colors together will look like so you let me know if these are good enough colors for you the colors i'm deciding on and hey instagram i'm gonna see if i can get you guys over here to see at least a little bit hold on instagram let me flip you around i gotta get you out of up tick-tock you guys are hooked up so we did get some new colors recently okay here is my base color i'm thinking of and you guys let me know what you want to try for my base or fill color i have diamond cut crystal i have our diamond cut snow which is just a white and then i have i think i hope i have enough i have my white opal i think i really want to try the opal we just got the opal back in stock as well i want to try the opal with our brand new lotus pink opal with lotus pink i'm pumped to see what that's going to look like that's what we're doing the other new color that we have just to let you know is our twilight which is this one here the twilight is a purple then it gets to a dark purple a light purple and then it hits a little bit of a blue on it as well i'll do one of the shirts tonight with this as well so let's go ahead and get this done i'm going to try to make sure we can all see okay let me move my cutter over a tiny bit so i'm going to start with my fill okay so i'm going to drop that down and i'm hoping i have enough opal stones to brush these in because this is all i have and we actually just got our new stock of the opal stones in so hopefully they don't sell out like they did last time and i think it was basically a couple minutes last time so brushing them in again circles i cut i see some of you asking i cut the circles at .135 inches 0.135 inches so that's the 0.135 inches is what's the perfect size for ss10 rhinestones is which i what i'm using here okay now with the opal just brushing in big circles once i feel like most of them are in then i'm going to kind of go in a straight line and i will bring you guys over here and show you everyone of those are in there perfect already oh i got one extra one right there on top so every one of those are in there perfect and they're all right side up pretty sweet isn't it a lot of people wonder how that happens and the reason why it happens is the way that the templates are cut and the way rhinestones are formed right so now i'm going to come over here i have a piece of hotfix tape so with my hotfix tape everything looks good there i'm going to just drop that down right on top go over it with my hand here pick this up and now i have the first color of my rhinestone transfer okay now that i have that my first color i'm going to take this template okay so i'm done with this part of it i'm going to pull this up here and i'm actually just going to stick it to the back of this right now because i don't want it to be exposed and any of the adhesive just especially if you forget about it the adhesive can start to dry out over time right second color down and this is our lotus pink and i'm letting you guys know right now the lotus pink image that you see on the website isn't anywhere close as far as how good the pink color is like the pink is like a super bright pink it's probably the clo how many of you guys have been around long enough that remember the pinkle stones where are my pink where's my pinkle crew at this is probably the closest stone we've had to get back to that pinkle color that everybody loved so again with these and i'll show you a close-up of these just to show you how bright they are and what's really cool about these probably the coolest thing they almost have a color changing effect as well to where they're like a bright bright pink but then at a different angle you're gonna get like kind of a bright purple these i'm telling you right now these will probably be i'm anticipating these being our most popular stones will probably be as soon as everybody starts seeing them and seeing them in person these will probably be our most popular stones can you guys oh tick tock's got a good view of them right now yes let's go tick-tock purple all right now that we have that what i'm going to do is i'm going to come over here how many of you have guys have tried this how many of you have tried the parchment paper trick for rhinestones so you guys have all seen you've all seen the parchment paper trick for vinyl of course but you can also use the parchment paper trick on rhinestones so check this out i'm just kind of hovering over my design here looking to get it lined up good that looks pretty good to me there that looks pretty good there and i'm going to drop this down so i just dropped my hotfix tape down on the right hand side right there right now i'm going to lift this up pull that out and then we're just going to drop that down perfectly and check it out perfect two color layer it's pretty sweet isn't it so it's not that that trick is not only for vinyl as you can see you can do it with rhinestones as well so just going over it real quick there let's go ahead and pull this up make sure i didn't miss any stones let me get that one get that one and boom there we go oh this is going to look good this is going to look sweet so what i want to do with this now is i'm going to throw this here i'm going to take this and any time you're doing anytime you're doing a rhinestone decal remember you always want the transfer to be a little bit smaller than your bling anything so let's head over to the press over here let me see if i can get you guys over here to uh instagram i'm not sure if we're going to be able to make it ah better than nothing instagram better than nothing all right tick tock got you guys over let me zoom in a little bit and youtube let me get you guys in here good and let me go ahead and turn on this light real quick and yes i'll go over that as far as with the bling anything material of course so what the question was that just came up is what side of the bling anything material do you press to so this is the bling anything material okay we're going to cut the bling anything a little bit larger now yes i could have i could have cut out a contour of these flip flops however it's honestly easier than getting everything set up and creating the contour and everything it's honestly easier just to trim around it real quick with a pair of scissors okay so there's a shiny side and a dull side to the bling anything material we are going to press the rhinestones to the shiny side so i'm just coming here dropping that down on the shiny side all right shiny side and let's go ahead cover that up and i'm at 325 degrees right now and i'm going to go about 10 seconds i got yelled at by somebody on facebook today for calling it a contour instead of an offset uh it can be whatever you want some softwares call it a contour some softwares call it an offset i know in cricut in design space they do call it an offset so remember what i was saying before about the bling anything material the bling anything material you're always going to get kind of a little edge and it's going to almost look like it melted a little bit which isn't a bad thing okay and now i want to show you the trick that you're looking for what you want to look for when you're doing a rhinestone decal is a little circle around where the stones are and i can see i don't have that quite yet so i took off the hotfix tape i flipped that upside down and now i'm going to go for about another five seconds can you use yeah you could use the easy press for this as well scan and cut is an offset as well yeah honestly it's probably called an offset more often than being called a contour but it really depends it really depends on what you're using bling anything is also for clothes no bling anything is for decals only for stickers only okay now when i look at this now i can start to see the little circles around my stones there okay i can start to see them a little bit but on that edge still can't see them a ton so i'm going to press a little bit longer and what that is actually doing when you see that is it's actually kind of pushing the stones down into the material which is going to make it just hold a lot better so i'm good with that right there so let's head back over here and let's go ahead and get this thing trimmed up and finished correct the bling anything is for decals correct and if it's rhinestones only so as far as outdoor durability yes you can put this on tumblers no problem easily put it on tumblers outdoor durability just to give you an idea of outdoor durability i've had a rhinestone decal my wife's last car we had a rhinestone decal on her car for over five years and didn't lose one stone on it over five years the stones they're not going to fade and if you use rhine studs studs just to let you know they are not glass rhinestones so rhine studs will fade over time rhinestones are good to go so i'm just trimming around this real quick just with a pair of scissors and just i don't need to be perfect with it because i know that the bling anything material is clear enough that when i put it on the back of the car window it's just going to disappear with the tent of the window so the only thing you're really going to be able to see is the stones so let's go here and boom and there we go i know you probably can't see the sparkle real good on this bad webcam but i'm not going to lie these opal stones with the lotus pink look freaking sweet tick-tock can see it a little bit better check it out instagram yes sir so again all the customer does is just peel it from right here just like a regular sticker and see how clear the material is now watch look at how clear it is there now you can see my finger right through it so that's what it's going to be like when it goes onto the car and that clear is just going to go right through yes dishwasher safe as well so if i threw this onto a tumbler it would be dishwasher safe yep oh that looks sweet okay decal number one is done next one let's do another decal first okay let's do another decal first and we're going to do this next one on the cricut explore air 2. we're going to do this next one on the explorer 2. so instagram i'll bring you guys back over here oh actually instagram hold on instagram you're gonna look at the ceiling for a minute we gotta move all the cameras got to get everybody back over here tiktok getting you back over here boom instagram let me flip you guys around here instagram you guys are good to go and youtube let me flip you guys back around to the screen camera here boom um the machine i cut on there was the graphtec how much will i charge for a single decal like that a single rhinestone decal i charge a minimum of 15 minimum of 15 and then we can do bulk discounts as well um i don't think so so someone just asked is it too big for a left chest logo i'll give you an idea i don't think it's too big for a left chest logo remember it's only i think 3.6 by 4 inches so it could work all right now we'll go in design space it gets a little more difficult this time right so let's open up cricut design space and i'm just going to use a little butterfly design that i have in here okay so i'm going to go to new project i'm going to go to upload and i have just this little butterfly design now here's the deal okay as you guys know all of you cricket users right you guys know when you bring an svg file in it is insane right right now this is 70 inches wide 70 inches wide sucks when that happens right and it always brings it in at some crazy size so i'm going to shrink it way down and i'm going to zoom out here a good amount and try and bring this up to the top left of my screen here now i'm going to zoom in on that area i'm going to right click and ungroup okay because i'm giving you the the most difficult example all right i'm giving you the most difficult example because i want you to learn how to do it so the example i'm giving you here i don't have all the sizing for you i'm not telling you the right size okay so watch what you do you have two different boxes here right you can't do them both at the same time unfortunately but actually you might be able to if we did this let me just try something here if i welded those together yeah there we go so this might work i welded them together i'm going to come down to the bottom right corner and click on contour and then i'm going to go hide all contours and i'm only going to click on one of the circles and click off see that one circle is .23 inches i'm going to come up to the top and i'm going to make that .135 inches and i have it locked so both sides are 0.135 inches now got it now that i have that 0.135 inches for that one circle i'm going to go back to contour i'm going to hit show all contours okay so i'm showing all of them now click off of it and now it's the right size it's it's the perfect size to where every circle is now 0.135 inches does that make sense so you can do that with any rhinestone design okay group it together go to contour hide all of them except for one of the circles change it to 0.135 inches go back and show them all and now they're all going to be that right size it's pretty cool little trick um ss10 the reason why i mainly use ss10 is it is by far the the easiest stone to work with okay and the most cost effective and most popular all right um do you need corel for the wizard yes the wizard is built into corel and i'm going to be using corel on the next project corel in the wizard so now that i have my design here i'm going to i got the explore air i'm going to go to make it right now with make it here i'm going to come over and i'm going to hit continue i have it in the top left corner there and for materials i'm going to use my preset trw 45 degree magic flock rhinestone all right however let me show you what that really is so i'm going to go browse all materials and material settings when i scroll down to my custom material setting that i set up here you will notice the trw magic flock rhinestone setting 350 single cut fine point blade okay so the 350 is the cut pressure multi cut is off and fine point blade everybody have that 350 off and fine point blade so now that i have that i'm going to hit done and i'm choosing that material i have the fine point blade and i'm also for pressure going to hit more so 350 multi-cut off fine point blade and more everybody with me okay let's go set up our machine now so instagram i'm going to flip you guys just around here come on over tik tok and youtube all right tick tock you guys are in youtube let me bring you guys over here switch to the production views here and let's get this baby set up so let's get all these stones out of the way for right now now i am going to need some magic flock okay and i am going to use my cutting mat as well all right so using magic clock using my cutting mat and let me see if i can get the questions at an angle to where i can see them over here too can you add material to design space yes you can yep all of those custom settings you can add whatever you want so i'm just going to pull off my little cover sheet there and i do need some magic flock so i am going to trim this off here and for my magic flock i'm going to trim off a decent size just off my roll here and here's the biggest trick that you guys need to know for this okay make sure don't just put the magic flap with the white backing onto the cutting mat peel off the magic flock and stick it to the mat and then what i'll normally do just to make sure it's on there good is just squeegee it down so now that i have that i'm going to load this into my explore air 2 here and let's go ahead and make sure we're all good we got pressure more air too looking like we're good to go we're blinking i have it set to custom setting and i'm going to click now does everybody remember the graphtec cutting one two three four five six seven that's each circle it's cutting again it's not the end of the world it's going to do its job obviously just not going to do its job super quick right all right so now that we have that i am going to come over here and we are going to start working on this other design i've tried some other stencil material not working yeah i mean we've done a lot of testing and a lot of research and development and to make the magic flock the best material out there just the the the length of the flock five there's so many things involved in it that a lot of people don't realize because i'm gonna move you guys over here if the flock fibers are too long then the stones don't brush in good if they're too short the stones don't brush in good if the the adhesive is too thick it won't cut good it won't release goods so there's a ton of factors involved that a lot of people off the start don't realize all right it's going over there it's still going by the way the other design we did was oh shoot i think this design maybe has like 80 something 90 stones in it but it's done look at that let me bring it out let's see what we get here you guys ready for this hold on before i pull it up are we going to get a perfect weed or not you guys let me know what you think are we gonna get a perfect weed on really doubt me did you you're better than that all right so while we're at it we'll just knock this out real quick what do we want to do colors for the butterfly let me see what i got here you know what i do have i got some pixie dust and i also have oh that could be good the um the phoenix which is one of the newer colors of stones it's a pink a purple a gold a yellow maybe phoenix and pixie dust because this hits like crystals and blues and whatnot and i'm thinking phoenix on the outside pixie dust on the inside not quite as much more of the phoenix let's give it a go so phoenix first of course that's going to be super easy to brush them in and i'll bring you guys down to show you these colors real quick check these out so the phoenix see how it's got the green then the pink then the purple and as you go to different angles it's going to show all those different colors let me get you down there youtube so check it out every kind of angle you look at oh that's a pretty cool view right there on youtube i can see like the orange the purple the pink the yellow i can see all the colors right there that looks pretty sweet yes actually i that might be the first time youtube showed more of the colors than tick tock did all right so i just need a super small piece of hotfix tape and we are going to reuse the hotfix tape we did for the um for the flip-flops we'll just reuse the same tape pull that up set that over there and then you can definitely i see somebody asking can you just eyeball it you definitely can especially on something small like this so to get my stones back in i just like to use the little funnel here if i didn't have a table like this and i had an actual workstation then i would use the the scoop but with the table like i'm using here it's actually easier to use the funnel and then i won't need many stones here is hot fix the same as transfer tape no it's not victoria if you just use like a vinyl decal application tape or transfer tape and you press it with your heat press it you're going to be cleaning up that stuff off your heat press for hours because a regular application tape is just going to melt all right so be careful with that now if i just hovered this over here i can say that looks pretty good drop that down and now i got my little two color butterfly and obviously this is a super small design right super small design but great for accenting little things or just throwing onto like a computer laptop or something like that so trimming around it here and let's go over and press it onto our press real quick so again because it's all rhinestones we are going to press this to bling anything material right so shiny side is up drop that down and i can just trim there and we're good to go so flip this over and press um the coolest thing about this is when you're doing something like this like a little butterfly or something like this with your template what you would do is you could literally make 20 of these butterflies at a time if you want and brush in 20 of them at a time on the template so always remember that you don't have to make one butterfly at a time or one set of flip-flops at a time okay you can probably even for the flip flops you could easily put them in a four pack and you're making four at a time all right so let's pull that up let's bring this over here and then we will trim around this butterfly and finish this baby up where are we at numbers wise we got a chance to get it tonight we got a chance to get the thousand and get your coupon code and give away all of these templates created that design on the cricut explorer air 2. now we are coming over to create this design here okay now i want to make this super quick i want to make it easy but i also want to make it kind of cool okay so what i'm going to do is i'm going to take this design and i'm going to create it into a maybe a two probably a two color we'll do a two color rhinestone design two color rhinestone design so let me show you how i'm gonna do that you ready now first thing i want to do is i want to get the size of the design to be the size i want it on the shirt and i want this to be pretty large actually i'm going to go 10 inches tall by 8.6 inches wide 10 inches tall by 8.6 inches wide that's a pretty big design right now what i also want to do is i want to get this broken apart because right now it's all welded together so i want to create these individually and then choose my colors the way that i like to do this now the way a lot of people would do this is they would click on this and then they would just break it apart okay so you could come up to the top here and just break it apart and it's going to fill that o part of the design right there you see that so what you could do to fix that real quick is just click on the black click on the pink do a back minus front and now you have everything broken apart the way you want all right so let's choose our colors now i want the b to be pink let me just change this back to a black right now okay i want the t utility to probably be pink as well i want the u to be maybe that purple and we can maybe do i dream in back minus front um what do i want my hearts to be i could make them a different color if we want let's make this one pink just so it's the same all right and then let's make all of these hearts a different color let's maybe um i'm just going to make them a lighter purple for now but you'll see what we're going to do in a minute now what i'm going to do is i'm going to weld select same color all of the purple i'm going to weld that together and then the pink select same color so it selected all the pink and weld that together now here's what i'm going to do okay i'm going to take and i just want stones kind of going around the outside so i'm going to click on all of the pink right here i'm going to go to my trw pink and let's take this i'm going to go to place and fill i want to add stones but i'm going to add stones to the inside okay to the inside one island to the inside holly raynor appreciate your support little league member now i have my fill line spacing the auto and my contour spacing to auto and i'm going to turn on my corner to text so if i were to hit island fill it's going to do this okay and let me change it to just a different color so you can see it better let me go back a step i'll change this to a black for now and we'll change this to the pink so watch what happens here island fill and it's going to do that for me and then i can take the black get rid of that and look at that pretty sweet isn't it now i can go around here and look and i can say okay that's pretty close but that would actually be fine right there looks good there looks good there up top there looks good down here i would say you know what i'm going to probably just fix that just a tiny bit now i'm going to come to the u and i'm going to choose um i'll just choose citrine for now so you can see it island fill highlight them clear my paths now with this one here see where my circle is there so i'm going to show you a little trick because those overlapped i'm going to take this circle right here and i'm going to move it down a little bit see what i just did right there i just moved that down a tiny bit i could even move my heart down a little bit as well if i want okay and now that i've done those amber ellis appreciate your support little league member now that i've done that when i hit island fill and clear my paths now none of those stones are overlapping so i have that no and i'll change those to a different color just so you can see them a little bit better now there's a dark purple come over here adjust that a tiny bit everything else looks pretty good okay now for my hearts i'm gonna do the same thing but i'm gonna go zero island because i want it to fill to the inside all right fill to the inside so i'm going to go i don't know i'll just use cobalt for right now island fill clear my paths and get rid of all of those purple so i can see my hearts it actually hit those really good right there carolina carolina appreciate your support appreciate your sport little league member thank you i'm going to make a quick little adjustment on that heart right there this one there i'm not happy with that we'll come back and see that in a minute let's come over here now when you look at that tiny little overlap right there it's not like i could get away with this and i could cut it and it would be fine but if i see it i just like to make the adjustment real quick okay and then the last thing we're going to look at is this heart here what i would probably do with this heart here is i would probably come over here add that to there and i'm just going to actually almost draw my own heart and just make it more of an outline heart so i just made a quick heart there makes sense now the colors that we're going to do we're going to throw this onto a white burnout tank top okay a white burnout tank top so we're going to use our lotus pink we're going to use our twilight purple and then we are also going to use our dragon green so i'll just put green there this is going to be pretty sweet so highlight my entire design i can see it's 8.5 inches by 10 inches i'm going to come over to my templates and i'm going to go vinyl over cut all right now that i have that this is where i'm going to make some small little adjustments i don't the way that i'm going to do this i don't want to make all the templates the same size and layer it the way i normally do and here's the reason why i actually want this design to have three different transfers okay and then for the hearts i'm gonna do this watch what i'm gonna do with the hearts i'm actually going to move all of the hearts like that there what am i doing everybody know what i'm doing with the hearts here i saved a lot of template material by doing that right and then i can just place the hearts one by one where i want and press them all at the same time got it so right now i'm at 10.5 inches that way by 7 inches watch what else i'm going to do i'm going to click here rotate this click on these hearts and rotate those and let's see if i can get away with this ah damn it 12.2 i'm literally gonna just miss it anybody know how i could do it because magiklox only 12 inches wide obviously right how could i get away with it does it necessarily matter if i have a perfect weed box around it it doesn't necessarily matter right so if i wanted to i could do this and now i'm at 11.2 inches so i just removed my weed box and i'll just cut it with scissors does that make sense to everybody and then what i could possibly do and i'm just going to look and see what if i i just want to try this because it's going to save a good amount of material i'm going to go like this and then i'm also going to add some extra hearts here boom extra hearts right so i'm at 11.2 by 8.6 and if i wanted to shoot i could even add just for extra stuff some extra hearts in this area here too right now that i have that highlight my design 8.6 by 11.2 i'm pretty good with that pretty good with that and i could probably even get away with an initial weed box let's see if i threw this here that's just less trimming for me 11.5 i bet you i can get away with an 11.5 so let's do it that'll save me a three cuts it the fastest it'll go um yes the cm4 the cutting master 4 is the cutting software that comes with the graph deck so it's not actually a design software it is just the software it is just what talks to the cutter so you aren't actually doing any designing in cutting master 4 it is just taking your your vector file and sending it to the machine your call center and warehouse people are amazing they actually got my graphtec 60 and oh that's freaking amazing jay that's what i'm talking about baby yes i'll be using ss10 stones i saw somebody ask earlier the stones that i used on the on the flip flops for the inside is the opal diamond cut opal and then the bright pink where it changes to like a little bit of a purple and yellow as well almost that is the new lotus pink got it and then the butterfly one we use the phoenix and the pixie dust phoenix and pixie dust oh thank you bobby just posted the link from where the beautiful design was the butterfly hey bobby can you look the butterfly design i took out of one of the mask packs can you see if you can find that link bobby please it is uh one of the mask packs and i just pulled one of the little butterflies out of the mass pack design um flat back what what we refer to flat back stones flatback stones don't have a glue on them that's just what we call ours flat back and then all of them technically have a flat back but then hotfix stones are the ones that we're using here tonight and they have a hotfix glue on the back of it andrea robinson major league member appreciate your support oh bobby did bobby already get it yes i've been linking it look at you that's what i'm talking about all right we are almost done here and again i did the big cut around it as well and for stones we are going to put them on they don't so i know a lot of you guys are going to ask they don't make these anymore this is one of the next level burnout tank tops they don't make them anymore so unfortunately unfortunately i can't help you with that side of it they were the next level burnout shirts were my most popular next level and bella were basically the two main shirts that i sold in the finished product side of the business so i'm just getting the tank top lined up over here as that's finishing and there is a couple tricks when you're doing a burnout shirt as well that i'll show you as well all right good to go with that let's hit one to view it that's going to bring us out here now with this here again oh i'm cutting a little deep cutting a little deep you see what happened there on a few of them still look what happened i gotta get one of them here it actually i'll show you the back side i cut a little too deep on this one and it went through on a couple of the circles so even though it cut it good and it did it right see my white spots there i went a little bit too deep on it so i am just grabbing those right there now here's the biggest downfall if you do that okay and yes i'm still using my over two-year-old blade but here's the biggest downfall oh you know what damn it i know exactly why this happened because it's it's doing it in the same spot on each design who can guess why this happened who can guess why it cut through it did in the exact same spot in the hearts and it did it in all of my intersections who can tell me why anyone who's my smart one out here nope not the cutting strip nope not wet yes julianne you got it yes yes i'm going to show you here let me actually bring you back over and show you real quick because this is important this is important so let me just bring you back up to the design here just for a second so you'll notice it was in a lot of the intersections not necessarily welding but let me show you what i did the reason why it cut through is like this part of the y two circles so it cut twice this part was good because i hand placed all those however these two there two there so those were all the spots i forgot to merge my overlapping stones so what i should have done is highlighted all of them hit merge overlapping stones it would have been one click and now look at all of those spots now it's just one stone so that was more user air than cutter air does that make sense to everybody why that happened now all right let me get you back over here facebook yeah i make user errors well yes i do all right so now we know why that did that however we're good to go i mean it didn't necessarily mess up anything right it just meant that i needed to pull off a couple circles right there now i need to trim this right so i'm going to go here and it doesn't matter if you cut it perfect i'm cutting around the edge there there's my hearts and then the u is a different one i'm going to actually round it a little bit and more hearts there and there's my u part of the template make sense to everybody how i did that why i did it because it saved me a lot of magic flock template material by doing it that way as well look how close the t is to the edge over here yeah it's pretty close not too bad all right so this part of my design we are going to do the lotus pink so let's get this template made first uh-oh i missed one get out of there another one of my edges i guess it's the f oh yeah down there yeah it's pretty close let me grab my brush and as you guys know i love to use the monster brush to me the monster brush is so much easier to work with than the handle brush some people prefer the handle brush let me know what you prefer what do you guys prefer the handle brush or the big brush the monster brush everybody has their preference and i'll tell you why i like this brush best oh i got one of my stones mixed in there monster monster monster monster monster any monster monster monster monster it's like a monster mash here okay i see a couple of handles coming in there i will use the handle brush from time to time on a little bit more detailed or smaller designs the monster brush is just so much easier to work with on a bigger design like this though so that is done and every single one of those stones are in there perfectly check it out facebook every stone in there perfect right it's that easy now i just need to grab me some hot fix tape let's see size wise this should be pretty good here and what i'm going to do with this i'm going to assume that customers are going to want this design but they may want different colors okay and that's why i'm going to do this one different than i did the last one what i mean by that is i'm i'm not going to make them all into one transfer yeah the heat press is still on i'm not going to make them all into one transfer so i'm going to do the b two full that's one transfer right but what this will allow me to do is if this is a really popular design of mine i could just make a transfer of this in pink and crystal and purple and whatever and then have the other parts of the design in different colors and then just allow that customer to say okay what colors do you want for this you can do pink you can do purple you can do yellow you can do green those are the ones that i have done already if that makes sense put the transfer on the back side right there and now let's do my hearts and the hearts i said we were going to do in the dragon so the dragon is going to give you and i'll show you the color here the dragon's pretty sweet i got the hydra and the dragon the dragon is going to give you greens and purples this color is freaking badass now i'm also going to watch what i'm going to do remember this other little extra piece i had watch this i'm just going to go like this and just add it to the side right there might as well brush in a couple extra hearts while we're doing it right oh yes let me show you guys real quick up close facebook check out the dragon look at those colors look at those purples and greens and pinks i got you i got you youtube hold on i got you not leaving you out look at that right over top you're getting a lot of the greens and purples then you get start start to get some of the pinks then you get a lot of the purples on the side right there so nice oh tick tock i got you too i won't leave you out look at that what all right let's go ahead and brush these in oh this is pretty sweet when i brush them in right here at the angle i'm looking at like literally all i see is green but then as i kind of move down and finish some of them now i'm starting to see just purple oh sorry i was blocking you a little bit there facebook so now i'm getting all the purples there i got all the greens let's get some of the pinks down here yep and again when you're brushing in the stones big circles to get them in straight lines to get them out good there and my last two little hearts here now remember i don't have to like the hearts were on this design a specific way but i can move the hearts to whichever way i want when i'm placing them right i don't have to put them the way that they were oh i moved one stone there let me get that guy back i don't necessarily have to have all of the design be there the way it is on the design i can put if they say i want a heart here i want a heart here and so on you can switch any of that let's see oh look at that it's like it was made for it it's like the perfect length this hot fix tape right here yes they do land the right way because of the way the template is cut and the way the stones are formed so as you're brushing them around they just fix themselves so you'll notice i don't go back with tweezers or anything and fix them because they're all right side up alright there's my hearts and then i just need the u right here and on the u we are gonna do the twilight stones that you haven't seen yet those were the dragon that i just use and let's get our twilight stones here yes those and these i'm going to dump them out so you can just see them first all right facebook first these are the twilight a lot of purples and then you'll start to hit some different blues [Music] but a dark purple and then a light purple and let me see if you guys can see it youtube these were brand new we just got these at the end of last week we just got the twilight and we just got the lotus pink those are both new colors all right so let's go ahead and brush in our twilight here i didn't even pull up the hearts because i know i can just keep the stones away from it and all of those are in there and perfect it's that easy it shouldn't be that easy i know but it is all right i do need a little piece of hotfix tape for that though and i might need to pull it off of here let's go it's a little bit bigger than i thought so let's go maybe here and then about that wide so with this here and just dropping it down pull this up on the edge and your hotfix tape pulls up all the stones so now we just need to get this laid out can you see that i'm sure it's kind of hard to see all the different color purples it almost looks like it's different stones doesn't it as you hit the different angles it really is that easy i had never done rhinestones before until last month oh that's awesome love to hear that all right so here's probably the hardest part of doing the design the way we just did it okay probably the hardest part of doing it the way we just did it is making sure you get it correct for the shirt right making sure we get it correct for the shirt and what i mean by that is we need to line the design up so it's going to be arranged correctly on our shirt so where did our big part of the design go it is right over here oh boy look what i did uh-oh how did i do that really oh didn't mess it up good i stuck it to [Music] i literally stuck it to my cutting mat because i didn't put my cover back on the cutting mat like a dum-dum so what i'm going to do is i'm going to kind of lay out this design a little bit on the shirt yeah that was almost a mess wasn't it i'm going to lay this out kind of on the shirt to the way that i'm going to want it there that looks good there and because the the o and the u on u for beautiful okay goes off to the right a little bit more i want to kind of get my shirt arranged to the full design so i'm looking at this i know it's a taller design than it is wide okay so i'm looking at this the left side of my b and my t to the left edge here and then i got my y and for the u coming over to that side there and i'm seeing it coming up on this kind of strap of the tank top and i'm going to look at that and i'm going to say you know what i feel like that is pretty good right there so i know about where it's going to be so the easiest way to do this is to do it this way put your first layer down that you're going to press okay because you can see even though i line that up now that i have to take this off again i got to reline it up again right and i don't know if it's going to be exactly where i wanted it so what i do is i'll put this back here and i'll come back and kind of do that same thing so i'm a little bit to the left edge there i got my u coming in here that looks pretty good there and i'm pretty happy with this okay now again because it's a tall design i have it going pretty far up on my tank top here you see where i am so i have it going a good amount up on my tank top and then i'm going to have my u going right there so i'm feeling good with this so i'm going to go ahead and press this and not necessarily my full time in temperature okay because i got to come back with basically two more presses so i'm going to go with this for about six to eight seconds and when i pull it up i just need to be careful to make sure that those stones stay down on it so i'm going to slowly pull this up and i know that i'm using quality stones with the quality glue so i know it's going to be fine now i'm going to come back with the u part of the design and i'm going to drop this right there oh this is going to look sweet and i'm going to use my cover sheet just to protect those stones and then i just need to grab my different hearts and where i want to put those and that last heart press will be a full press for my full time and temperature so let's roll this off here and now i'm just going to trim off some hearts so i know that one of my hearts this one here was right inside my o there right and then like i said it doesn't matter where you put these hearts you can put as many as you want wherever you want i mean i could if i wanted to watch this i'm going to throw that one there but i'm going to put this one here at a little bit of an angle so i'm going to throw that one at an angle and then i'm going to throw this one kind of down here at an angle maybe i want another small one inside my b here okay so if i wanted one right there i can easily throw one at an angle right inside my bead there with no problem and say okay that looks good to me i'm happy with that so let's go ahead and cover it up and give it a press and i'm going to go for 10 seconds here um i am doing amazing how are you doing tonight do you have heat press sheets for the cricket press um yeah all of these um cover sheets that we use you can use them with any press so you could use it with the cricut easy press you can use them with whatever you want now here's one of the most important things when you're using burnout shirts get in there and get underneath and spread it apart why did i just do that who can tell me yes right keto had it while the stones are still hot while the glue is still hot you need to get your hand through there and separate it from the back so it so the glue doesn't stick to the back of the burnout shirt that won't be for most shirts but for burnout shirts that's really important and i'll give you a little story the very first shirt i made we're talking 12 plus years ago i made a shirt for my wife and i was so excited to bring it home and give it to her and it was on a burnout shirt i did not separate it guess what happened she went to put on the money we all like saving money right this is the piece of hotfix tape i just used on the beautiful design now we're using the same piece on this one and look at that every stone pulled up perfectly it's that easy all right that part done that part of my template done let me go ahead and lift this up and just be careful when you're pulling off your templates depending on your workstation if you just rip it off real quick it will rip okay so just be careful when you're lifting up your templates so you don't rip them put it back on to the backer of my hot fix tape and then my next part of the of the joke is if you had unicorn poop it will scoop the pooper scooper will scoop your unicorn poop all right i need some hot fix tape so i'm not going to be able to reuse that piece because it isn't big enough let's see if this this is big enough here yes the pooper scooper will scoop regular stones as well not just unicorn poop i'm hoping that wasn't a real question oh that was a close fit right there and again i'm doing it as different templates and different transfers oh i got an extra stone there so here's the way i like to do this pull the extra stone out and then just come back here and push those stones back into the circle into the hole there's my second transfer ready to go and let's go ahead and get my last piece which is what the flip flop i just posted my beach time shirt check our color selections were like if they don't look good i'm blaming it on you i agree yes i see some of you that are brand new that are saying we like it when that stuff happens and alive that's why i do everything live any of you that are new any of you that are new believe me i make plenty of mistakes i make plenty of mistakes and i talk about mistakes i've made in the past too but i make plenty of mistakes in lives as well i have no problem making mistakes i don't i don't come on here and try and act like i'm perfect and i never make mistakes because honestly all of you here probably learn the most when i make mistakes and most of you're like yep i do that all the time it's nice to see he does that too so believe me i'm not going to come on here and try and act like i'm perfect or i'm the best or i'm going to come on here show you different things that work for me and if i make a mistake guess what i made a mistake just like other people do and i say the same thing as far as business-wise as well especially when we talk about um like shipping all of our stuff okay like our warehouse most of you know our warehouse is pretty awesome right when it comes to shipping and time and everything but they make mistakes as well right so i don't try to hide it i don't try to say that they're perfect and they don't make mistakes but guess what when they do make mistakes we fix it every time right so that's the biggest thing i think is being okay with making mistakes there's nothing wrong with making mistakes with your business be okay with it and if you do make mistake you just fix it i mean there's times where some of you guys will call and you're pissed off and i understand it and we made the mistake and you know what we're going to fix that mistake so i'm just looking here to try and see again looking through my design to make sure and that's the other thing when when you do call and we make a mistake as you guys know we're gonna fix it right but more importantly we aren't going to try and make an excuse and say oh well i mean if we made a mistake we made a mistake and you should be the same way with your customers as well and if if they're not okay with it then oh well we need 94 more let's go i think i'm going to be pretty good with that there the thing i'm most worried about is my flip-flop part of the design but i think we're going to be good with it so good there again cheating cheating to the top i'm just looking at my design real quick on going to the top of the end and the bottom of the end i'm just looking at my design here because this is actually going to be more difficult than i thought this is actually going to be more difficult than i thought to get this aligned because there's three things that basically need to align perfectly but i think we got it let's go no the heat from the press doesn't affect the light no i've had this light shoot i've had that same light there for probably at least three or four years at least three or four years now this is where this is going to get a little interesting so i got to get this lined up perfectly here but to where my flip flops are going to line up perfectly here and this is going to be the hard part of it let's see okay so here's another little trick for you okay here's another little trick for you i'm going to try and bring you a little bit closer to kind of show you exactly what i'm doing here youtube check this out here's my issue i'm having here's how i'm going to show you how i'm going to fix it okay i need to get this aligned perfectly but then i also need to get this star in the perfect place to where the flip flop is going to fit both sides of the star perfectly and that edge there perfectly which is honestly going to be really difficult to do so in order to make it easier on myself here's what i'm going to do i'm just going to cut off this star because that's the only part that would have been the issue does it make sense what i'm doing now i'm going to line up the i'm on and my sand dollar perfectly so let's get this lined up good here that looks good and that looks good and i'm going to cover it and press now i didn't commit to that starfish being in that exact spot okay so what that's going to allow me to do oh didn't press long enough there to see how i pulled that up in some of those uh mermaid stones i only pressed that for like three or four seconds so if that ever happens what that did is i didn't press it long enough to activate the hotfix glue on the back of the stones so if you don't activate the hotfix glue then they basically can't stick to the shirt right so i pressed it a little bit longer that time which activated that glue and now they stuck perfect and now i'm going to come back and press the flip flops first you guys got me you see what's going on here right if i press the flip flops first so they line up perfect then i come back with the star last because it'll fit in there perfect so did it take a little bit longer for me to do it this way a hundred percent yes it did right but it's going to ensure that i'm not going to be off on my design so watch now when i come in with this star here my star fits perfect right there and now the design laid out perfectly for me and now i'm going to go for my full 10 12 seconds 955 let's go baby let's go 960 let's go everybody let's go i'm going to turn off my press because we're good there and remember the first thing i'm going to do after i peel this off while it is still hot i'm going to come in here and separate my shirt i just put my hand through it so that those stones don't stick to the backside and yes i think we did pretty damn good on the colors hold on i'm keep i know i'm keeping you guys in suspense right now i got to clean up these stones before i knock them all over the place purple velvet make sure i don't brush them into the wrong bag these are definitely some beachy colors and i think i i'm glad we went with the purple snow stones um oh in coreldraw lourdes what you're going to do is you will use a feature called up here at the top and let me actually just see if i have a random here let me switch around to my screen here so let's just say i had a random design like this okay and this is their logo but it's a bitmap so i'm going to change it convert it to a bitmap real quick so this is a bitmap logo that's pixelated right so what you're going to do is you're going to come up to trace bitmap and then just do a logo or detailed logo trace so if you click that reduce bitmap that's fine it's going to process through here and then it's going to do this for you okay so i'm going to delete the original image i can decide what colors i want to keep and not keep how detailed i want it now when i hit ok this when i ungroup it now is now a vector design so this is a cuttable file now hopefully that made sense lortis so even though that was just an image off the start now when i go to wireframe you can see it's actually a cuttable file now it all obviously depends on how good the image is right if it's a super pixelated really bad really detailed image obviously it's not going to be that easy so it's like and that's the same way silhouette studio is and what not too right yeah depending on how pixelated it is yes if it was super pixelated it wouldn't do it as clean these are some pretty clean tiffany once i had the template cut then it's going to normally take anywhere from i did it i've done one of them in under 20 minutes on a live training so and that's still answering questions so i've done them to where when i have the template made i can do them in 15 minutes but this one with multiple colors is probably about 25 to 30 minutes but i've done a few of them in my time so it may be at 45 minutes to an hour but that's after you get the template is probably the most difficult part especially if you have a cameo or a cricket right avalanche uh you guys are killing me thank you though now color spark adhesive vinyls that's how many color spark adhesive and that's not even half of them of our different colors so i got some more i got the others to work on still but what i had to do is i had to cut every single one of those pvc pipes again because they were all 12 inches but the problem is is all of our color spark adhesive vinyl is 12 inches as well so it completely hid all of the colors so i basically had i cut off about another two and a half inches so now each of the pvc pipes are eight and a half inches so it shows like two and a half inches of the actual color spark vinyl so i can see it so makes it a lot nicer yeah i can pull one out for you just to show you oh they all gonna fall nope so it's two inch two inch pvc pipe and then you can see this is the powder blue polka dot texture glitter adhesive vinyl i just cut it with a miter saw all right what else we got um we're checking on that suzanne to see about getting even wider how big is this room uh i want to say it's 12 by 20. 12 inches wide 20 inches 12 inches wide it's a small damn room 12 feet by 20 feet um yes the two inch pvc pipe what's nice about them let me see if i have another example here i had um an extra one somewhere around here hold on here we go so what's really nice about the two inch pvc pipe is this even if you have a brand new roll of any of our color spark vinyl that isn't even open yet even with the cardboard core it still fits it perfect so a lot of times you'll have your vinyl where you only have a foot left and you just roll it up and put it in there but even if it's still got the cardboard cord on it it'll fit into the two inch pvc pipe hi i got some work to do it's 11 21 and it's time for me to start working round two of the day but we got a boatload of
