How To Make PDF File on Android Phone

hey everyone in today's video i want to show you how to create a pdf document on your android phone and also how to turn any document you already have into a pdf document is completely free and it's built into your android phone on the iphone it's a little bit different so i'll make the next video all about that so what we need is an app called google drive that always comes with android phones so you could go ahead and search down here for it just click here and look for google drive so if i type drive here it's right here if you don't see it here you could actually just download it from the google play store here if for some reason you don't have it on your phone i already have it so i'm gonna go ahead and launch it and here is going to ask you to log into google drive if you don't have google drive or if you don't have an account with google make sure you create one most likely you have one because you have an android android is made by google and so is google drive so what we want to do is we could turn any document it doesn't matter if it's a google sheet document it doesn't matter if it's a google doc it doesn't matter if it's a picture and you could always create one from scratch if you don't have any documents so let's go ahead and do that first if you press the plus sign right here it's gonna let you upload anything that's already on your phone so that's one way to bring in documents or you could create a google doc and we'll turn that text document into a pdf spreadsheet into a pdf or google slide into a pdf and one of my favorites is the scan option let me show you this if you press this and then let the app use your camera here and i'm going to just bring in a piece of paper right here let me just go ahead and put a piece of paper right here and let me go ahead and take a picture here and press the check mark and if yours gets like this you could actually change the crop just click this and change the crop so it actually brings in your whole document over here so i want the whole text and i'll press done and it's going to change the cropping for me so if you have any issues it's going to scan it in like this so now i could go ahead and press save on this and this document could be saved as a pdf you could see it says dot pdf here on my google drive okay so that's how you scan in a document let me go ahead and move this out of the way and then you could also as i mentioned press the plus sign and bring in any document from scratch so you could create a google doc but i'll show you how to do it to an existing google doc here i'll select this here and when you select it it's going to open it in google doc instead of google drive so it may ask you to install google doc and once you do you could press the three dots here okay and then go to share and export and then click on save as and then you could see you have lots of different options in this case we want a pdf document and i'm going to say ok and it's going to save it as a pdf document just on my google drive here again now what about a google sheet spreadsheet document same exact thing you open it up here and then it's going to open google sheet if you don't have google sheet it's going to ask you to get it press the three dots on top press share and then you could go ahead and save it as a pdf document exactly as we did before and one last option i'll show you you could come up here and you could go ahead and upload any picture from your camera roll so i uploaded a picture over here and let me show you where that is so here's the picture i brought in i could press the three dots and this is a different option here for that i could go ahead and press print here and printing is going to give me this option but right on top instead of printing it i'm going to click this drop down and save it as a pdf okay so you see this little icon so you could click this and then it lets you save it right here as a pdf to whatever folder whatever folder you have over here and you can see it over here it's going to save this as a pdf instead so that's how you would save a jpeg as a pdf and then the other options are creating google docs and turning those into a pdf or google spreadsheet or google slides and turning those into a pdf i hope you found this useful i have ton of tutorials on google drive google docs every google product on this channel so consider subscribing and checking those out and i hope to see you next time
