How to Make MONEY on Pinterest with Affiliate Marketing (FullTutorial For Beginners)

hey there's jess so i started doing affiliate marketing on pinterest for the first month i was able to earn 720 now at first i was skeptical of trying pinterest especially when it comes to affiliate marketing but sarah finance actually made a youtube video talking about how she earns 500 a day through affiliate marketing and of course i want to go watch it and i couldn't help myself but try it myself and in this video i'm going to show you exactly how you can find affiliate links how to be able to post on pinterest step by step now i will show you how you can have people click on your links and be able to get that commission now if you are interested please watch until the end because i will go over some of the guidelines that pinterest has especially because if you use amazon for example amazon associates you can actually get your account terminated and that is something that we do not want we want to be able to create this as a passive income side hustle or eventually make it into the point where you can work from home that way if you do end up using pinterest as a way for you to start making income on the side you know exactly what to avoid because we do not want your account to be terminated especially if it grows to 10 000 20 000 followers um so please stay until the end because i will be breaking that down now if you are new to the channel i do focus on making computer and show you how you can start doing this today with no money down you simply just need either your phone or of course a computer to get this started with now this is sarah finance and i was very curious on how she was able to do 500 per day when it comes to affiliate marketing and if we look at her page there's a lot of affiliate marketing here as like for example right here you're going to see this promoted by shop style so we go ahead and click on it you're gonna see this is gonna take us to the shop where we can go ahead and level up our influence but what she did explain when it comes to her page is she does a mixture of posts which is how she was able to grow her following right here is 44 000 following but you can see here there are some affiliate links that she tags along and that is exactly how she was able to make that passive income and i'm gonna go ahead and show you exactly how you can do that now another person here who does that exact same thing is milan but he's a little bit more of a mixture of his own content and of course other people's content like this travel his goals now i do want to go ahead and break down exactly what affiliate marketing is or what those things are so you are basically working for another brand like for example nike or adidas or even office depot and they are basically paying you a commission to be able to get traffic to their website so they can sell either services products like for example some shoes or even digital products or signing up for any of their deals and because you're able to actually drive traffic to their website or buy whatever product they're selling they give you a small commission and that is exactly how you can create passive income and when it comes to uh pinterest you actually get to create that passive income all you got to do is either create posts or have a website because there's two different ways actually there is a direct way where you put the link in that post on pinterest or you put a website for example you have a blog or whatever it is and you put it in that post and they click on that website and on that website is where you have your affiliate links there's two different options and the second option works best for for example amazon associate links because you can't do that on pinterest or etsy links those are the things you want to go ahead and do on the indirect uh marketing which is basically putting a website and then in the website you have those links for example if i want to sell a book to my audience especially because i'm a personal finance geek i can go in here and say okay i'm going to go ahead and sell this one to my audience because this is the book i'm actually reading you get the link and that link is specific to you so you're going to get the commission and the cool thing about this is that there is a 24-hour cookie so that if they end up not buying that specific book you're going to be able to actually get any commission on any of the products this person does in those 24 hours so it's a pretty cool deal if you ask me now i'm going to be sharing two affiliate programs that i use which is impact.com and of course clickbank you can go ahead and choose those two or you can do your own research and of course uh use that affiliate program but personally i just like the transparency in both but for the purpose of this video i'm going to be showing you clickbank mainly because it has a wider range of different types of products and brands on there now when it comes to creating an account with clickbank you can do this right away it doesn't really take you that much but i want to go ahead and show you an example of how you can do this step by step and to make it super simple we're going to be using health and fitness if i can go ahead and find it because i am blind as a bat and let's say that you are someone who is a influencer you love going to the gym so let's say that none of this actually um catches your eye but i want to go ahead and show you exactly what all of this means the average conversion means whenever someone buys this uh product you get 114 for each click right each person that like signs up or purchases this but to make it super simple we're going to go ahead and look at protein right because that's all i know as a gym rat uh let's see if i can see anything that i recognize because i do not want daily greens okay this is at um whole foods is where i seen it now the first thing that you want to do is go ahead and click on it because they're going to go ahead and show you their website and what they promote you never want to promote something that you are not familiar with or you won't use yourself because it can ruin your reputation on top of that the great way to be able to or the best way to be able to make the most money is to be able to use products that you could actually use as in your niche or in your brand like for example i am a personal finance geek i love all all the things about money but i will say that i do go and work out and i do post it on my instagram so i can go ahead and use this link on my instagram story if i don't end up using on pinterest and once you go ahead and look at the the website you want to go ahead and check their affiliate page mainly because you want to know exactly what you're getting yourself into and you want to go ahead and look at the promotional rules right you there are some links that you cannot promote on pinterest as you can see right here it says you may not promote or advertise on search engines like google yahoo or bing so that is exactly why you need to read this because let's say that you end up getting something that does pay you you know 40 commission like this one and you end up putting it on pinterest you can actually get your pinterest shut down and all the followers you had are just going to go away right and that is something that we don't want because you worked really hard to get that so okay so now that we went all up through all of that you can go ahead and click promote as you see this one has a low average conversion of 12.51 now you're gonna basically go ahead and get your link as you can see right here i can earn 40 commission of every consumer that i refer to this product now when it comes to my account name you create this nickname when you create your account so you are going to be the only one who uses this nickname now when it comes to creating your post i just use canva for my youtube thumbnails i use katama for everything and the reason why i love canada is because it's cheap they have a huge range of things that are free that you can actually start using which is something that i would highly recommend if you are interested in that so i'm going to go ahead and click up here create a design and then you're going to go ahead and click poster this will give you the perfect size for your pinterest post as you can see right here it is similar to the ones they have in these right it has the same dimensions so since we have this daily greens um i'm going to show you exactly how i would create a post when it comes to this right the first thing i want to do is um go to pinterest of course and we're going to go to our account okay this is my personal account now my actual business account so on the bottom you're going to go ahead and click the plus sign and then create a pin from here you're going to be able to see that you can use this uh canva poster and be able to actually post it here and you're able to use your affiliate link which is this daily greens right so what we're gonna do is we're gonna go to uh pinterest and we're gonna look um we're gonna just slug daily greens you know the one thing that i want you to remember is that everything that comes up first in the search engine is what's popular it's what's trending and that is exactly why you want to look up before you actually post anything like for example this girl right here she probably has an affiliate link as you can see right here has count me health.com it says glow girl green juice recipe no juice required and it has a link right here this is exactly what we want to do um so we're going to go ahead and try that but i want to go ahead and use our daily greens so something like this right so what i would do is i would just go to uh google images and just look up green juice so you can choose where whichever one you want just make sure that you don't get in trouble when it comes to copyright so i'm gonna go ahead and use this one this one actually like this one better because it has three we're gonna go ahead copy image take it back over here and then paste it and of course fix it i'm gonna put it in the middle because i'm gonna do something we're gonna go ahead and go to background and we're gonna click fruit right and from here i want to be able to make this pop in a way where people take a second look you know and because we already have greens i think i'm gonna have a little bit more of this right and then just like that so we're gonna go ahead and look back at how other people were doing it so this said uh green juice but we want to go ahead and use daily greens and the one thing that you can see here is it boosts your energy and burns fat so we're gonna go ahead and use those terms we're gonna use text click on that and then of course we can erase this and then we're going to put this one up here stretch it out and just like that we made a post this is just me trying to be creative and you know trying to make things pop you can go ahead and just you know try different things so all you're going to do is go ahead and drag that in there and as you can see we just created our first post and then we can go ahead and use what they have on their website so the green drink that boosts energy right we're going to go ahead and copy that and we're going to go ahead and put this on our pinterest post and then right here this is where you're going to add your link and we're gonna paste it here and then next you just want to go ahead and um express what this is i would recommend for you to just copy and paste what's on the website um you can go ahead and just do this one right right but the one thing that i want you to keep in mind is if you are gonna do this always always always at the end put hashtag ad right or hashtag sponsored but to be safe you always want to uh express it to your audience that this link is a advertisement because you are advertising and you are going to get a commission so you can go ahead and put um affiliate marketing or whatever but i would just keep it as hashtag ad this will get um you in the safe spot because everyone kind of understand what uh ad is but as you can see we created this right now um simply by using google images and using canva and that is exactly how you create affiliate marketing when it comes to pinterest is by using the resources that you have and being able to get those things from other companies and yeah and that's how i was able to get seven hundred and twenty dollars per month now you may be saying jasmine 720 per month isn't nothing but let me ask you this if you had a car payment don't you think those 720 would make a difference if you have a mortgage or you have rent or you have food or any of those little things 700 makes a huge difference and this is something that you can do from your phone as you saw me do it right here i use canva i literally use clickbank i used all my resources i went into pinterest and i did my research and i was seeing what worked at the moment and what doesn't work and that is exactly what you can do if i can do it and sarah finance could do it if milan can do it and other people on pinterest are doing this go ahead and go into your niche right this is something that you can do on the side you can do this it takes you what 30 minutes to create one or two posts and just let it sit there at first it might take a while for you to start getting clicks but next you know you're gonna start getting the hang of it you're gonna start understanding what works and what doesn't work eventually those one hundred dollars two hundred dollars five hundred dollars can grow to ten thousand dollars a month by simply using affiliate marketing now i will say that you do want to uh make sure you are following the pinterest guidelines you always want to make sure that you always express it to your audience that you are using an affiliate link whether you do hashtag ad or you express it as this is an affiliate link but you have to be transparent because if not pinterest will come in and they will shut down your account especially if you've already grown following and you know you don't you don't want that to happen on top of that you never want to um spam your account your pinterest with just uh clickbank or or basically affiliate marketing the entire time because they will see as a red flag and they may shut your account down so what i would recommend is for you to do whatsoever finance does which is use one post whether it's your post or from tick tock or whatever you want to grab your content from of course always always always always um give credit to the actual original creator excuse me and then from there you want to go ahead you know do one post whether it's your tick tock or someone else's tick tock and then from there create these posts this will give you the momentum of having both people not just look at you as someone who only wants to get money but you're also you know giving them value that's the whole goal it's kind of well gary vee says right and i think it's um jab jab uh i forgot it's called punch or whatever where you're basically um giving giving giving and then eventually you're gonna get some right so um with all that being said i will leave down below uh the pinterest uh community guidelines and on top of that i'm
