Human beings we are creatures of habits and unfortunately most of us are lazy. So if we're lazy how are we
gonna achieve anything great? How do you keep yourself accountable? (upbeat music) Not easily. Not easily, because let's face it, you know what you need to do. Comment below. You know what it takes. How many of that know
exactly what you need to do to move closer to your goals? But you just can't get
yourself to do those things. You procrastinate, right? You delay, right? You make up excuses or
you say I don't know how. Or you just keep putting it off and you want to hold yourself accountable but you don't know how. Today I'm gonna give you three P's. Three P's you can use today
to keep yourself accountable. Number one the first P is, People, People. So imagine this, you want to get in shape. You want to get fit. You want to be healthier. Well you wanna loose weight. Now, what are some of
the things you can do? You could go and buy one
of those you know gadgets and machines that you see on TV. Right? And then you buy it and then
it gets delivered to you home and you use it for a couple of days. And very quickly they become what I call expensive dust collectors. Right? Or expensive like clothe hanger. You know one of those running machines. It is sitting in your bedroom,
sitting in your living room. Or you can say oh I'm gonna
sign up for a gym membership. And you know how it works. You sign up for a gym membership, maybe you go a couple times
and then you stop going and then oh yeah I'll go next week, and I'll go next week, I'll go next week. No one is holding you accountable. You can not even hold yourself accountable and then guess what but you
signed a three year contract, you signed a two year contract. But you end up not using
that gym membership or the first P is people. Now imagine a different scenario, where yes you're gonna loose weight. But you're gonna hire some people. Your gonna surround yourself with people who hold you accountable,
who keep you accountable. So let's say you hire a personal trainer. And you know that personal
trainer is costing you whatever, $30, $50, $80, whatever
that it costes you. The personal trainer trains with you, comes up some kind of a meal plan and some kind of exercise plan for you. Well, guess what. Chances of you doing what it takes, that probability goes up. So first P's people. Second it's process. I always say in my book FU money. I talk about real commitment is a commitment with a formal structure. Real commitment, it's a commitment
with a formal structure. So let's take example again. You have a personal trainer. Now the personal trainer comes up with a very schedule plan for you. Meaning hey three days a week we are going to do these type of exercises. We are going to do some weight training for 30 minutes or 45 minutes. And then we're gonna do some cardio for another 20, 30
minutes and that's going to be your schedule every single week. It doesn't matter if it's raining. It doesn't matter if it's snowing. It doesn't matter if it's
sunny, doesn't matter. Three times a week we gonna get together, we are going to work out. And in between, here are the
meals that I want you to eat. Now just in case, I'm gonna have these like
prepackaged meals for you. So you don't end up eating any junk food or fast food or things like that. Right? There's a lot of temptations or maybe you wanna eat
that chocolate cookie. Nope, this is what you gonna eat. Again that's a real commitment. A commitment with a formal structure. You know exactly what the
structure you need to follow. That's a process. So people, first one. Second P is process. The third one, is public declaration. Public declaration, meaning
you are telling the world what you gonna do. This is a very powerful, powerful way to make sure you keep
yourself accountable. So with me as for example,
if you watch my videos. You've been following my
work for some time now, comment below if you've
been watching what I do for a long time, you've
been studying with me for a long time. You could see in the beginning of 2017, we had 10,000 subscribers on YouTube. And I made a public promise. Right? I made a public declaration that we are gonna grow
this YouTube channel from 10,000 subscribers
to 100,000 subscribers. I didn't keep that to myself. I made a fucking video and
I tell the world about it. This is what I'm going to do. That's how I keep myself accountable. So there's no backup plan. There's no plan B. There's no maybe. There's no well I'll
see how I feel like it. No, there's no if we will
see we will make it happen. We're gonna fucking make it happen. Because human being is
very very interesting. That when you make a public
declaration like this, we don't want to loose
face, in Chinese terms. We don't want to break
a promise to the world. And we'll do everything we possible could to make sure that we can
fulfill on that promise. That public declaration,
very very powerful. And then earlier 2018, I said okay now we hit
100,000 subscribers. And we did by the end of 2017,
we hit 100,000 subscribers. And then I made a public declaration again and say we now hit 100,000 subscribers, we're going for half a million. And then we're gonna go for one million. Now I thought it would
take me from 100,000 to half a million in one
year, well we bypassed that. Within a year we bypassed
one million subscribers. Right? And thank you for your support. That's another public declaration. You see how this works? When you combine people, surround yourself with people who hold you accountable. When you have a proven process, knowing exactly what you need to do. So you take the thinking out of it. There's no thinking. You just do, you just do. And then you tell the world,
you make a public declaration. You declare to the world
these are my goals. This is what I'm gonna do. There's no backup. I'm not gonna back out. You only go forward. Do those three things, that's how you keep yourself accountable. And that's how you strive
and that's how you thrive. And that's how you get to the goals that you thought maybe
are impossible to achieve. But when you can do these things, they are not so impossible anymore. You're turning the impossible
to highly probable. You're turning what seems can not be done. But now you can get
yourself to do what it takes and you can stay focused and
then you can make it happen. Until next time, I'll
see you in my Bentley.
