How to install yarn on Mac / Mac Terminal- command not found: yarn

[Music] hey what's up everyone i welcome you to this video i will be talking about yarn that's right command not found yarn yarn is a package manager just like npm but to install yarn you actually need to have npm working on your system and to have npm working you also need to have note working i will exit this now before you start installing yarn check out if those two npm and node are available on your system now how you can install yarn is really very easy i have a mac that's why to gain admin rights i first write sudo then i will use npm and store global because url needs to be installed globally on my entire system not only in the local directory where i am right now and yarn now hit enter write your password and now yarn is installed on my system i checked it out it's installed successfully and it seems to be working to gain an overview of how to work with yarn simply just write yarn help and you will get options listed that you can use with yarn and commands that yarn supports and let's say one day you will be done using yarn and you will want to have it removed from your system the same way as you installed yarn i will just come back in my history you can also uninstall yarn just there where you wrote npm install right uninstall hit enter and now you can see one package was removed from my system and now when i will write yarn again it will not be found and that's it that's how you install and uninstall yarn on your system please like comment and if this is the first time you are watching one of my videos don't forget to subscribe see you soon [Music]
