How to install npm on Mac / Mac Terminal- command not found: npm

[Music] hello everyone what's up in this session i will be talking about how to install npm that's right command not found npm as you most probably know npm is the node package manager this means that if you do not have npm installed it also means that you do not have node installed or you do not have it installed correctly therefore command not found npm comes together with command not found node and the easiest way how you can install node on your system is simply just through this website here always find it by googling for download node then i am opening it and now you can choose your system if you have windows then you go for windows installer if you have mac os then you go for mac os installer i guess you are not going for the source code the best thing to use is the lts that's the latest stable version if you go for current this one will have the latest features but may be unstable for you that's why unless you are a professional who truly knows what he's doing choose lts the latest stable version and then either windows installer or mac os installer in my case i'm using the macos installer because i have a macos system here my node package manager was just downloaded in the version 1418 i restarted and now this window popped up installer would like to access files on a removable volume that's probably all in my case i will click ok now continue continue to continue installing the software you must agree to the terms of the software license agreement agree and now it tells you where it's going to install the node.js in my case that's how my hard drive is called so i will install it there i will type my password enter and now node.js is being installed on my system the installation was completed successfully i can close this window move the installer to the bin done and now whenever try to use node it will be there i can leave it using this command and when i will use npm it will also be there and that's it that's how you install the npm command on your system please like comment and if this is the first time you are watching one of my videos don't forget to subscribe see you soon [Music]
