How to Install and Setup PyGame with Visual Studio Code | PyGame in VS Code (2023)

in this video we will see how we can install Pi game and setup by game in vs code so you can create a game like that first of all you need to make sure that you have Python and pip installed if you don't have python installed and paper installed check the links in the description and install python after you have installed python let's first create a new folder that will be the project folder for our game let's just call it my by game and now we will open Visual Studio and we will open this folder in our Visual Studio let's open that folder now we need to install Pi game so that we can use that library to create games right so go to terminal click on new terminal and type web install again now this will install pygame library and we can create games using pi game now since I have already installed this I'll see this message but for you it will take a few seconds and it will install buy game now after your Pi games since Pi game installed hover over this folder and click on this add icon let's create a new file call it Main dot Pi just add this snippet now this will be an example game that is provided with pi game now let's save the file now once the file is saved you can run the file using this run button here but if you don't see this button that's because I have another extension installed for this call code Runner you can install it and run this or if you don't want to do that you can just go to run and click on run without debugging and this code will be run and now let's see again so as you can see the game is already here now you can create your own games using python maybe I'll tutorial for that so if you want to see that just hit the Subscribe button if you have any questions let me know in the comments below
