how to insert page numbers in Microsoft Word currently when you look at my footer option I don't have any page number reflecting in this section to insert a page number move to the menu bar and click on the insert Tab and under the insert tab we have the header and footer group and we have the page number option click on the drop down arrow and you have all these options to choose from and I'm going to select bottom of page and you have this side menu you can choose how you want your page number to be displayed and I'm going to select this Ascent bar 4. and now you can see that I have inserted a page number into my word document when you double click in this field you have this additional tab which is header and footer you can also go back to this option and add a different page number pair your preference
