Alphabet print letters are not built for speed. You are also drawing beautiful letters in order to please the eye. Let's practise! When practising handwriting, you can pause the video or slow it down if you feel it is moving too fast. Free scribbles help you to relax. Do some and you will soon see how easily your pen or pencil should travel across the paper. Use them when you are tense, retraining your grip, or trying out a different pen. Although handwriting isn't a workout, it will inevitably take a minor toll on your hands and wrists if you practice it long enough. That's why it's a good idea before any handwriting session to start getting used to warm up your hands and wrists. Stretch and wriggle your fingers for a few seconds. Make a fist and then stretch out your hand. Touch each finger to your thumb. Play an imaginary piano on the table. Move your wrists in a circle. Roll your shoulders forward and back. These exercises give you a firm hand. They are not as easy as they look. They should be written by the full page. If you're doing a long piece of writing, give your hand a rest from time to time. Growing hand strength and finger flexibility will help you gain better control over the pen. Strengthening fine motor abilities can also lead to enhancing writing activity endurance. Try the other exercises below. What you are doing is practising the basic strokes that make up parts of letters. Consistent rhythm and texture are the most important marks of good handwriting. These shapes are found in all the print letters of the alphabet. Practising them will help your handwriting. NUMBERS The Print Letters from A to Z of The Alphabet Make one space between each word (like the size of an o) Make your spaces the same size every time Today most of us need a flexible way of writing - fast, almost a scribble for ourselves alone to read, and progressively slower and more legible for other purposes. Print writing is used when handwriting needs to be extremely clear and easy to read - for example, when writing details on a luggage tag that goes on a suitcase when you travel, when you want to send a letter to someone, and you have to write his or her address on an envelope, when writing a job application form or a simple application form for a gym membership. Remember to take a break if your hand starts to get tired. It's important to have good lighting. Make sure that the shadow of your writing hand is not getting in the way. You must be sitting comfortably straight up and well balanced. The surface that you put your paper on is important too. You need to write on something resilient but smooth. You need to be relaxed. Tension causes jagged, uneven writing. Regular writing will help your hand become stronger, and with practice, you will be able to write for longer without tiring. The handwriting movement is a combined finger, hand and arm movement. The arm should be supported lightly by the forearm and the little finger. This allows the writing hand to move smoothly across the page. Avoid a fixed forearm. Keep your forearms flexible. The fingers will flex slightly in moving to form the letter shapes. The hand will move smoothly ahead of the point of contact between instrument and paper. Tapping the index finger lightly on the instrument or freely rotating the wrist helps to relax the hand. You must try a few pens to see what kind is best for you. The same applies to paper. Some kinds make your writing better than others. It could be useful for you to try this experiment yourself. You might be pleasantly surprised by the improvement in your writing. The aesthetic appeal of handwriting is largely determined by its legibility. Check the SIZE of the letters. Is each of your letters the right height and resting neatly on the line? Check the SPACING of the letters. Are all of your letters and words evenly spaced? Check the SHAPE of the letters. Are all of your alphabet letters the right shape and closed where they should be? Practising your alphabet writing a few times every day will help you become more proficient. If you practice regularly, you will change your handwriting faster. For extra practice, copy your favorite quotes in printed alphabet writing. Good handwriting is not a particular style of writing. We all have our own individual style. It doesn't matter what kind of handwriting style you have: spiky handwriting, curly handwriting, handwriting with loops, handwriting that slants to the left or right, small handwriting or large handwriting, big bold handwriting or delicate fancy handwriting. Any style of handwriting is good, as long as the letters are clearly formed evenly spaced, on the line and easy to read. Holding the Pen or Pencil I'm holding the pen between my thumb and index finger, and my middle finger is under it to support it. This makes a tripod grip. To write well, you must make sure you hold the pen or pencil comfortably. The way you hold your pen or pencil will affect the letters that you write. We sometimes have problems holding onto a thin pencil or pen. You can buy things called pencil grips to help with this. Pencil grips can also make it more comfortable to write for a long period of time. There are many different types of pencil grips. Pencil grips can also be used on pens to improve grip. They are made of rubber or a soft, spongy material. They are very useful if you get hand cramps easily or if your hand sweats when you have to write a lot. Pencils are best for handwriting practice as you can erase any mistakes you make. Handwriting is a practice. It is a proficiency that can be acquired with a lot of practice. Try keeping a diary; it is a good way of making sure that you write something every day. Handwriting is meant to be used, so remember that real practice is needed. PANGRAMS are sentences that contain every letter of the alphabet at least once. Write the pangram slowly. You must train a correct movement. Begin all your exercises slowly and only allow your hand to write faster when you get used to the movements. The most important thing when filling out a form is to write CLEARLY. Forms often ask you to use BLOCK CAPITALS. This means you should use CAPITALS and not join any letters. If there are boxes on the form, put one letter or number in each box. On official forms, one is often asked to "please print". This is because cursive handwriting is harder to read, and the glyphs are joined, so they do not fit neatly into separate boxes. If someone is going to read what you write, it needs to be neat. It is said that practice makes perfect, so the best way to learn is to practice. However, the practice can sometimes be difficult and quite boring. Be persistent and never give up Thank you for watching and practicing how to write in print letters
