prayer of his people amen in matthew 7 8 talks about those who ask will receive those who knock the door shall be open and those who seek will find amen that's why as a church we pray because we have a god who answers those who pray amen church our vision as a church is to bring salvation to this generation somebody say salvation salvation to this generation this generation and our vision is to see thousands locally saved and millions save globally we want to begin to pray right now as a church we we love to pray for the nations amen we're going to pray today for the nation and the country of algeria this country is located in a 1040 window it is by far the largest uh country by size in the african continent it has about 44 million people in population and 99 of their dominant religion is islam sunni and one percent is other religions in psalm 2 8 the bible says that ask and i'll give you the nations as your inheritance the whole earth as your possession amen we came here to ask god for the nations we came here to hear to ask god god you said to pray god you said those who ask will receive and what better thing to ask is god brings salvation to every single person that is lost that is confused that is blinded by different false gods false religions and all other things let the scale of their eyes fall off that they may see the truth which is jesus christ amen church i want you to begin to stretch your hands right now towards the screen we're going to begin to pray for the nation of algeria we're going to begin to ask god bring salvation to that nation but we ask that every single person that is blinded that has a hard heart lord that is confused that the light of the salvation of jesus christ will begin to go into that nation and the gospel will be spread throughout the whole earth in jesus name let's begin to pray father god we come before you we are praying on god for the for the algeria we ask you god that that country god will be saved in the name of jesus christ god we praying god for every single person every single soul that is in algeria god the blood was shed for every soul god the blood was shed for every one of those gods men and women god for every single person that knows you and doesn't know you the price was already paid god we are we are crying out god that the lamb that was slaying will receive the reward of his suffering god the gospel will begin to penetrate algeria god that the gospel the name jesus will begin to be lifted up in the name of jesus christ because that every single god pharaoh in algeria will let god's people go that every single heart and heart will be softened god that the gospel will penetrate get the homes go the churches will be built god and those people god the veils over the eyes god of false religion god the veils god of false gods will be will be broken and brought down and we will see algeria being saved in the name of jesus christ we pray in jesus mighty name demetrius you believe that god's gonna give us the nations as our inheritance amen church we have to understand that with our prayer we are going to those nations and the bible says that wherever your foot steps i'll give you that land as your inheritance in my church with our faith with our prayer we are going to those nations and we are declaring salvation to those nations in jesus name amen as currently as we speak we have pastor ilya and bryson also evangelist ivan his wife and the team they travel to brazil pastor ilya and bryson are in a different part of the united states preaching the gospel and this is the vision that millions will get saved globally man church what we're praying for we already seen the fruits of it being taken place right now the gospel will be spread as we pray right now it will take place tomorrow what we have today was as a result of prayers that was done yesterday and what we'll have tomorrow will have as a result the prayers that we pray right now i ask your church to pray right now we're going to begin to pray for our evangelists and our pastors that are already going there as they're preaching the gospel as they're setting the captives free through the name of jesus christ believe that your prayer has the power to break the enemy in jesus mighty name amen church right now let's begin to pray for our evangelists let's begin to pray for our pastors as they're going out to preach the gospel that the kingdom of god will begin to spread amen church let's pray yes father we come right now god and we pray god for the team that's in brazil father we ask you father they begin to use them god in a greater way father we pray god that you use their hands father to heal a sick god that you may use them god to deliver the demonized father i pray right now god that you open heavens over that place over the nation god you can use this team god to preach the gospel god that we can seek thousands come to you god and every place of the world god we ask you right now god that you strengthen the team god that you give them knowledge and wisdom got understanding god to go and do what you have called them to do father i pray for each and every one of them god that you protect them and you i am god that you take care of the answering and the exiting father that you are with them every step of the way god and then you give them the resources god that you give them the word god let it be a fresh word to your people god we pray right now for pastor elia bryson and martin god we pray god that you use them god that you use them in a greater way god that you bless your hands god that you give a greater measure god of healing and delivering anointing father we thank you god for everything you're doing from his household father we thank you for everything you're doing for every mission of every evangelist god that you're sending out we ask you to strengthen them god we ask you to give them a greater measure greater understanding god that we may give out to the people in need god and the greater magic that we thank you god in the name of jesus in the name of jesus christ and now we want to begin to pray for locally we also have the the prayer of the the book of prayer here where we put the names of the people our family members our friends our co-workers that we pray for every day and we ask god for the salvation of every single person because every name is a person every name is a family and every family is a generation amen church don't underestimate the salvation of one person because it could change the whole family tree it can change generations to come when one person gives their life to jesus and the families and generations after afterwards will serve the lord amen if you're watching us online i want you to text you will knock on their hearts and tell them that it's time to come home that it's time to come to the answer that they're looking for so we ask god that every voice they've tried to fill in your heart that they will come and find it rest in you as for me and my household shall serve the lord i decree and i declare and i stand and i will fight for every person written on this board that they everybody and as you many of you know this is one of my favorite parts of the service because this is when we get to see what god is doing in our church through this ministry all around the world in different ministries and we love to hear about the glory of god we love to hear about what he's doing because when we hear what he was doing is doing it raises our belief it encourages our faith and then we see even more of the power of god moving in our lives amen so i want to share with you guys a few testimonies that we have had happen over the last couple of weeks through our online ministry and there's so many things that god is doing god is using our online ministry mightily and as um as pastor martin had said we have our ministers who are in other parts of the world right now but god gives us this online ministry so that we can be in other parts of the world every single day seeing the power of god moving so i want to share a testimony with you from a a woman who was watching our live wednesday service so she says this my name is mayan gagne and i am and i've been watching the hungry gen live streams on wednesday thursday and also the sunday services i discovered hungry jen through pastor vlad on a live stream with isaiah saldivar i want to share a testimony about my mother she is diabetic and has been suffering from body pains every day and we tried everything and there was no change i decided to submit a prayer request online for her health and i would love to thank god because ever since we sent the prayer request we have noticed a huge change with her health she is no longer experiencing pains in her bodies anymore and her prayer life has changed drastically i want to thank god because he is still faithful amen let's put our hands together for jesus you know what's really exciting about that particular testimony is that she didn't get prayed for nobody prayed for her nobody called her out online nobody touched her here in the service it was just simply by faith that she put in a prayer request online and we have prayer warriors who are praying for all of these people who submit these prayer requests but it wasn't like she was called out specifically and i believe that god almighty he wants to expand our thinking he wants to reach us outside of our boxes to know that he can touch us that if you just simply have faith the distance isn't a barrier the time and space is not a barrier to the move of god that if you simply just believe he will touch you right where you are amen i want to read another testimony from a person who was watching a live service on september 2nd so this person this is what they said it's a very short testimony but it's powerful this is what they said my lungs are clear i have been having issues with asthma lately and pastor vlad prayed for lungs and my lungs now feel better they are completely clear in jesus name amen let's put our hands together for jesus [Applause] it's so simple but god is simple in his ways he's so simple he makes it so easy for us to reach out and connect to him he makes it easy for us to be able to come to him all you need to do is believe and know that he is and that he is the rewarder of those who diligently seek him amen i have one more testimony that i want to share with you guys and she just happens to be here with us on zoom today this is sue can you guys give her a warm round of applause amen so sue we're so glad to have you here today can you just really quickly uh introduce yourself tell us your name and where you are joining us from today um my name is sue um flynn and i live in michigan so i'm in the western upper peninsula of michigan on the wisconsin border amen wow all the way from michigan you guys amen hallelujah well sue we know that you have an amazing testimony to share with us can you begin by telling us what was the problem that you were facing and how did god almighty bring forth the solution in your life well one of the things that i had been experiencing for probably i would say over the last um year or maybe a year and a half that i've been really struggling with a lot of depression um struggling with what's really just wanting to live like i was praying almost every single day just begging and asking god just to let me lay down and go to sleep and not wake up like every night like i just i did not want to be here anymore i had a deep sense of unworthiness was stemming from at the time like when i was going through i just kept asking god um what was wrong with me i was um struggling in my relationship with my husband and feeling any kind of affection um or love for him like just it was really when pastor ilia shared i think it's been like two wednesdays ago now at that service i don't remember the date i mean everything that he had shared in the word of knowledge was like spot on it was just like ins like i think he was like a sentence or two into speaking and all of a sudden i just look i'm like oh my gosh i'm like that's me that he's talking about and i just knew it was like the lord just said and at first i didn't even know when i opened my mouth it was the holy spirit just like it was about um we had been married we were married 24 years and about four months into our marriage um i had had an argument with him and gave him the silent treatment for like three days or whatever and i apologized and made up and his comment to me was if it weren't for you this marriage would be perfect and what i didn't know at the time that i know now is that um just rebuking those kinds of like curse words like this was just really a curse that was put on me that i just i didn't know that i just accepted it i took it into my heart and um and i just carried that with me and what i what the holy spirit showed me after my deliverance was that that was where um my deep sense of unworthiness was stemming from and when he started to pray for me the first thing that i had my eyes closed and the first thing that the holy spirit allowed me to see was a physical i could see in my spirit but i i could see this um spirit actually physically leaving my body like and going out to the left side like it left the center of my of my like in my chest and it went out to the left and then shortly after like a couple seconds later all of a sudden there was this super bright white he had been praying and asking god to the only thing i remember that was um asking god to dispel all the areas of darkness in my mind while they're up on the right-hand part of my eye there was a super bright white light and it was so bright at first i thought something was shining in my eyes and i couldn't even hardly concentrate on what pastor ellie was praying and so i kind of opened up my eyes a little bit and i thought is there something in front of me and i closed my eyes and that's all i could focus on and um so when he was done i just had this deep sense of peace i was like oh i'm like i don't really know what just happened but i know that i was definitely delivered of something and and regarding my religion relationship with my husband um that curse had been broken that was what the holy spirit showed me that night that was where my deep sense of unworthiness came from my my sense of wanting to not live and all of that is gone all the depression is gone um those thumbnails um thoughts of i had been planning exit planning a divorce um those thoughts are all gone um and the hallelujah yes god is so good it's just unbelievable it's been absolutely life-changing amen let's put our hands together for jesus what a wonderful testimony and sue i don't know if you can still hear us because your video is frozen are you still there okay there you are awesome so so this is amazing you said for 24 years you've been in this marriage with your husband and from basically day one there has been uh tension within the marriage and a lot of insecurity that grew because of of this uh curse words that were spoken over your life and since that day you mentioned was maybe about two potentially three weeks ago that you received that prayer what is your relationship like now with your husband what kind of changes have you seen since then well when he came home from work that night i wasn't even really sure what to expect because i was like okay lord is this like gonna just happen gradually but it was instant it literally like when he came in the door from work that night i was like i instantly wanted to be with him like i like just physically like so if there's just been a lot of more affection just like um a love for him that i just never knew existed in my relationship with him amen amen let's put our hands together for jesus hallelujah and sue it seemed like you had a little bit more that you wanted to say go ahead and keep going you know what i just want to say to people i guess this has been on my heart is that be careful what you say and and i guess filter everything when people are even you know sometimes those things are spoken and they're not spoken out of maliciousness do you know what i'm saying like he didn't maliciously like you know say that to me to be whatever you know i mean so to filter those things out and and don't let them to come in and be careful what you do say to other people you know and even i think to our children you know we just don't know how negative things like that are going to affect those around us amen amen and one last thing sue uh you mentioned that you had joined us on the wednesday live service can you tell us what had inspired you to join the wednesday life service that day how did you hear about it well so actually i started watching hungry gen back in march and it came via the um the way of i had saw somebody posted a link in another group that i was in um that had pastor um pastor vlad and then isaiah and then a couple other pastors mike and i i think his name is alex and i was watching that and i researched all four of them and when i went to youtube and looked up hungry generation i was like oh my gosh i mean i literally started watching messages every single day and i started attending the sunday services because i wasn't going to church at that time and then started watching the wednesday services and so now i can pretty much catch most of the wednesday services amen praise the lord hallelujah sue we are so grateful for you yes thank you jesus we're so grateful for you for your testimony and for what god has done and truly your testimony shows us that that distance is not a barrier for god almighty do you have any last piece of advice that you want to share with people who might be in the room today or who are watching online through youtube who maybe have joined us here on zoom or who will watch this again as a live as a rebroadcast what can you say to encourage their faith today um i guess i would say that if you're struggling because even when i started watching hungry jen i was at such a there were days i didn't want to get out of bed i was so depressed but i just and i didn't even like i can't even say that um i felt hungry i had to start praying and asking god to give that to me i just started asking him to please help me to be hungry and to search out you know and that was when i came across hungry gen and i felt like that was my first answer to prayer and it was just like it's just happened you know it was little by little bit by bit so just hang in there i just i can't encourage you enough to just hang in there and and just trust that god god has done so much in my life in the last six months it's been unbelievable amen let's put our hands together for jesus thank you so much sue for sharing your wonderful testimony today hallelujah you know what she said that she was hungry and asking the holy spirit to make her hungry so he brought her to hungry jen if that's not an answer to prayer i don't know what is and i want to say another thing is that she was looking for god to do something in her life she was expectant for the holy spirit to do something and like i mentioned last week and i'm going to say it again because i think that people need to hear this over and over and over again god is in the business of restoring families he wants to do that if you have family members who are not serving jesus or there's tension within your family just the same way that sue was mentioning for 24 years tension within her marriage causing insecurity and you're not able to experience the fullness of what god has intended within your family i want to tell you that there is an answer for you his name is jesus christ and through him all things are possible so if you're believing for your family today you're believing that god is going to bring restoration reconciliation and restitution i want you to know that he can do it and you can listen to these testimonies over and over and over again and receive it for your own life this is why we share these testimonies because god wants you to know that he can do it and he's doing it and he will do it again in your life hallelujah amen amen amen amen you know sorry i got one last thought here we were praying for miracles to happen in this church and we started sharing testimonies of certain miracles this the testimony i shared about the woman who was healed of asthma we've been praying for asthma for years and we keep on declaring it out we keep on saying it the more we said it the more that we declared it in jesus name the more people received healing and so we're going to keep on doing the same thing if you hear us talking about restored marriages if you hear us talking about reconciliation with families because we're going to keep on saying it because gonna ask you that every day you pray for a missionary trip amen they didn't go on their own they're going with our blessing and they're gonna be successful there because of your prayers would you promise that amen next week is our internship we have uh i think over 32 students that are coming in for our ministry program we are so so excited so this is your last sunday you can enjoy maybe one or two or a few little free space next sunday is gonna be back to clogged up and not enough room and uh and that's why we're gonna launch three services but next week is something else coming yes good morning everyone so we are so stoked and excited to announce and we have been hearing that every single sunday about our upcoming live group semester okay fall semester we're going to be going as a church through the um classes not classes um what's it called the uh we're going to be beating this yeah of deliverance and ministering in our life groups praying for deliverance also i just encourage every single person if you have not signed up for one of our life groups yet you have a chance to do so go to our website wwe groups and we have a whole bunch of groups of different kinds and i encourage you to please click request to join and that leader will reach out to you and accept you and yeah we're going to go from there it's going to be amazing you don't want to miss out i really encourage you to sign up and join one of one of our live groups it's 10 weeks course yeah and we're gonna be finishing on uh the week of thanksgiving we're gonna have a celebration in each one of our live groups and finish with that so please do that we we really as as a church as we're gonna go into three services we as a church we are a body we are not an organization we are not a building we are a body and body is connected as the church is getting bigger the church should always be getting smaller you have to be known by somebody and somebody has to know you now some of us come from a traditional churches where your pastor knows your your name your pet your dog your ex he knows where you lived where you live and where you're going to live and he also knows where you're going to be buried when you die because he already you and so unfortunately at hungry gen that's not going to be possible with every person anytime the church gets you know becomes starts growing we have to distribute the ministry where every person does ministry instead of few people doing ministry and so part of that where pastoring happens at hungary jain is through small groups does that mean that every small group leader is a perfect expert of course not we're not looking for experts we are looking for other brothers and sisters who can shoulder shoulder our responsibilities in life with us and so we have a lot of in-person life groups that we want to encourage every one of you to check it out if you're visiting our church you're like man i'm looking for some friends i'm looking for some community this is the best way to do it if you don't need friends you're like honestly my life is full i don't need any friends you need to be in a group so that you can be a friend to somebody else it's not about you yeah and if you are in that place where you're like man but i want to have my own eventually this is also a place to start with and so it's a place where you can meet friends it's a place where you can experience also discipleship it's where somebody can know what's happening with your life and help you to grow in christ my biggest fear that as the church gets bigger that we get sicker how sicker what i mean is that we become inflated you know when you inflate a balloon it's not real like you can put a needle and it pops anytime a church is bigger then it's better it's poison very soon churches like that they die out and that's why some revivals are dangerous because they quickly make the church big the church is not structured the church is not healthy and the moment you see the evangelist leaves the church the church is back to you know very little toxic broken and so not that small churches are toxic not at all but god wants our church to be healthy and we can't be healthy until every believer takes the rightful place of being a minister and then each one of us are connected to other believers instead of the guy on the stage or the dude with the microphone or the guy in the spotlight or the dude who has a lot of followers and a lot of you come to tri-cities you've heard me on youtube or heard that but when you come to church please understand vlad is not a belly button it's not everything through him by him and for him all right and stuff so we have a church we have a team and we have leaders and stuff that's why a lot of times even on prairieland you will not see me praying even though i'm here why because it's not about me i don't preach every single sunday why because it's not about me it's about the body it's it's about us as a community this is not a conference this is a church and that's why you don't see me hiding in an office before the service between the services why because i'm not a celebrity guy i'm just a okay maybe on instagram i need you to but in try series i'm just a normal dude amen normal guy i just want to add that guys we have such amazing leaders like you have no idea and next sunday we will be actually setting up some booths outside that you will be able to see our fears yeah and kind of see oh wow but if you are already in the group and you have been connected to a leader don't jump the ship yep that's exactly what i was about some leaders next sunday are going to be offering snacks they're going to be offering different like hey come to my group and so yeah you already developed a connection to a leader please do not do not jump groups we don't want that because we want you to get rooted in one group okay don't get all explorative and changing leaders i don't like this and that no we have amazing leaders and we encourage you to stick to one group amen another good news that that just happened on monday but i got a text message two days ago is that we have officially become the owners of the second parcel by our church building come on come on [Music] so last monday uh the board uh voted uh for that and then we placed um uh counter offer and then we got so we're hungry jen is officially the owner of this empty lot now the reason why we needed that lot is because we need more parking lot as we see we already we already have a problem with the parking lot here and we do not want problem with parking lot again as long as we live come on somebody [Music] not enough parking lot and not enough miracles or the two problems we don't want to have and so and the reason why this is going to be so crucial is because as you know the edison street is a very small street we will be able to have two exits and two entrances from canal and edison the other part is amazing is that little side over there on the side is actually already designated for development and we'll be building there a lodging for our insurance so we will have lodging for the entrance on the property of hungry gen come on somebody and so come on this is the good news we are excited for that [Applause] and for those of you who are still wondering where your tides go that's where they're gonna go that's what they're gonna be paying for okay and stuff so thank you for everyone who is giving thank you everybody who's contributing you know if you notice that we are transitioning in our services not to do offerings in the service but to do it at the end of the service another one is not to pass the baskets during the service i never liked the baskets idea i don't know it just always made me feel like it's 20 you know years old idea and and then the worst part about it is that i never bring cash now and so and i always felt like people are looking at me because i'm giving nothing you know the first two rows where the leaders are at like we're just giving nothing and so and then people like what the heck you know why is people not giving and stuff so because we give through the app and i really want to build we are going to build a church where we're gonna be the most generous church but you're gonna hear the least about giving in our church we're not gonna milk people we're just gonna grow grass come on some services i've been to four offerings in one service i'm like god have mercy and stuff and so and literally just milking people that's not we're a local church and so we're not gonna promise you you know give a thousand and you're gonna get you know five thousand back you're going to get a husband or a wife and stuff so we believe that we're a generous church we don't need to manipulate pressure that is not how we're going to roll and i believe because of that because you see the vision because you see the internship because you see so many things happening people sow where they want to grow people so where they see the vision and they so where they believe in that vision amen so thank you everybody so this is just because we don't pass baskets we set up all of those baskets all around the building now where you can give and for those of you online thank you so much each one of you who give every single week and so we just wanted to kind of give you a little update concerning that amen amen thank you thank you i want to speak to you today about how to hear god which is a very question is already wrong because the bible clearly states from the beginning that my sheep they know my voice you can never take a child through a school on how to hear their parent hearing comes with birth and if your child can't hear with birth then your child has has some kind of a disorder or has some kind of an illness so for a christian to hear god is just part of being a christian to know his voice is part of your spiritual birth it's part of the blessing of belonging in this family it's what makes god personal it's what makes god not a force but a friend what separates our religion from any religion if i could use christianity as a religion though it's not a religion it's a revelation but what separates it differently is that our god is a living god and our god is a speaking god and our god is not a force our god is a person who wants to be a friend in fact jesus brought us so close home he called him a father and when he talked about prayer he didn't say to address a impersonal force mother earth he didn't say to address some kind of a this being he said to address him as our father who is in heaven i'm going to read two portions of scriptures in the bible the first one is first chronicles chapter 10 verse 13 and it says the following so saul died for his unfaithfulness which he had committed against the lord because he did not keep the word of the lord also because he consulted a medium for guidance but he did not inquire of the lord therefore he killed him all right rough words but you get the point he killed him because he didn't inquire of the lord now i'm going to read you right now a verse where contradicts this verse in first samuel chapter 28 verse 5 and when saul saw the army of the philistines he was afraid and his heart trembled greatly and when saul inquired of the lord the lord did not answer him neither by dreams or by urim or by the prophets and so in verse 18 because you did not obey the voice of the lord nor execute the fierce judgment on the malek god's like i'm done with you and i'm just going to read one more portion and we're going to contrast two guys david and saul and glean some practical truths on how to hear god first samuel chapter 30 and verse 6. now david was greatly distressed for the people spoke of stoning him that's a good reason to be distressed because the soul of our people was grieved so people you know a lot of times when they're very hurting hurting hurt people hurt others sometimes they don't mean it they just they're just hurting for every man lost his sons and his daughters but david strengthened himself in the lord his god and verse eight and david inquired of the lord saying shall i pursue and then we see that the lord answered him so we see these two guys one guy we see at the end of his life god gives like a little summary of his life and he's like hey you were not faithful to me you did not keep the word of the lord so not just the voice of the lord the word of the lord and by the way you did not call upon me when you were supposed to death and then we actually look at the details of what happened there we see that saul actually called on god and god didn't pick up the phone and so saul got upset he got impatient he he's like man i'm going to find another way to get to not god but samuel so if you notice when god stopped talking to saul he didn't want to get another way or get somebody to get to god he went and found a witch doctor to get to samuel and before the witch doctor was able to pull all of her little charms samuel just appeared now i can't explain fully that different theologians disagree on how and what really happened i mean god just kind of intervened samuel showed up and samuel was like dude you're dead he's like you disobeyed the voice of god you're dead i told you to resign long time ago there's another guy named david he is the rightful king of israel if you would have resigned you would have lived that's my paraphrase and so he's saying you're gone tonight you and your sons are gonna die period and samuel just leaves and so of course saul goes into battle and soul dies and and you know things work out sadly like that i want to share with you four simple principles on how to discern or how to hear the voice of god number one if you're more desperate for a word from god then you are devoted to god you will lose discernment and fall into deception saul's first problem was this his desperation for a word at the expense nothing wrong with being desperate for the word but when it's at the expense of devotion to god you can find yourself in extremely murky waters and you don't need a witch today facebook profit will be enough youtube profit instagram mystic will be enough where you can find yourself in extremely polluted waters and watch this saul got a word but not a solution people who get too desperate for a word at the expense i'm again here don't hear what i'm not saying at the expense of devotion to god see god's first problem with saul was this he says his soul was not faithful meaning when a person plays games with god when they're not devoted to god and now they're at the fork in the road now there are different challenges and i feel like man i need god to tell me what to do i need god to tell me what to do and instead of starting from point eight and say hey you know what as a sheep i kind of drifted from the shepherd let me get back to the green pastures let me get back to the still waters let me get back to my shepherd no somebody tell me what to do when that attitude begins to come on a person who claims to be a christian the problem with that is this we can get a word but we might look loose discernment discernment of the holy spirit discernment whether the holy spirit is speaking will always will always be contingent on your devotion to god when you're devoted to god you can have the prophet come to you and give you a word and your discernment will tell you way off and you will thank him you will do the courtesy thank you but you will walk away and you'll say but god's already dealt with me about this i already know prophet cain bound himself one time to paul and he was like this is the man who's gonna be and paul's like yeah i know thanks great great word by the way great swimming illustration that could do really well on youtube and uh this whole thing that you did but i know i know he's like don't don't persuade me i already know not in an arrogant way paul did not ignore or somehow belittle the prophetic voice but see when your devotion even if you are not a prophet a pastor have a bible degree your devotion to god it's the same thing as when a child is with the parent the child might not have a degree but the child already knows discernment between the parents voice and somebody else's voice your closeness to god gives you discernment and your discernment protects you from deception why am i saying this i don't have a beef with anybody in particular on facebook what saddens me is amounts of people that message me papa prophesy papa give me a word what saddens me is seeing believers who then message me this man of god took all of my money this man of god because all the prophets many prophets on facebook are for-profit if you don't sow you don't get a word people are not going to sit there and just prophesy only hungry jan just kind of ministers and only at the end when everybody logs off we're like hey by the way you can give people don't do that it's people do that for living and i understand workers worthy of his wages and everything but so much a rip-off that happens and then you find out the lives of these people where they are toxic where they are hurt they are rejected listen and just because you can prophesy really well it does not mean that you have a character it does not mean that you have marriage it does not mean that you are not watching porn it does not mean that you're not smoking drugs or taking mushrooms it does not mean that if you switch religions you cannot go in and become a professional psychic some people that i hear i'm like man you can be a perfect psychic and there's no jesus mention there's no salvation everything is about just speaking goodness and love and peace and and all of this stuff so we have to be very careful as christians i'm not saying to walk around being afraid i'm talking about being devoted to god that we are not desperate at the expense and what i want to encourage is this god wants to communicate to you within your community god spoke to david but have you noticed from a priest probably some kind of a small guy that didn't matter god spoke to him when saul tried to communicate to god in his community god was silent the problem wasn't the lack of the gift in his community it was the lack of the character in saul it wasn't that saul now needed to find another because there was no other prophet it's not that saul now needed to go against someone else so needed to fix the connection and so sometimes people would you know switch churches or they were like man but i don't hear anything from god well it will help if you come to church it will help if you will be in the community it will also help if you develop a quiet time with god where your phone is your enough and you actually connect to the lord so if the lord is not communicating don't rush to switch the community watch say is there a connection personally with me because this god communicated before god communicated to saul before the fact that god stopped communicating it wasn't a reason for saul to start going right now dming every person on ig or dm'ing everybody on facebook and said give me a word give me a word give me a word also needed to do is to find where is the reception is my reception is my receiver off is if i put it on mute wait do i even do i even have it where did i lost it and we're going to see in just a moment what happened with saul why god stopped speaking to him but i want to encourage you to listen to god in the community your pastor your leader your mom your dad your spiritual brother and sister who helps you to walk along does not have to have a prophet in front of their name on facebook to discern god's will for your life i remember when i was extremely passionate to move to seattle this passion and vision to start a church in seattle birthed it out of the fact that i offered my pastor one idea and he rejected it and after that i started to feel strong discernment that god is calling me out of hungry jen weird and all the things start lining up right away i start you know gathering and this vision to start a church in seattle wasn't mine it was my pastor's vision he wanted us to start a church in seattle we prayed for a whole year here after worship so after our worship and so a month and a half i'm already developing a team i already talked to a few people in our church they're like yeah we'll move with you and so i'm thinking uh yeah yeah yeah and stuff so but you know when that is fostering on the ground and the soil of offense already it's not god and so i remember right there on the last row with the pastor uh it was evening we're sitting and so um and i was like so this you know seattle lady i'm like i'm willing and i was willing to sacrifice sell the house give all the money away move from zero moving into apartment and start everything from zero again i was willing to die literally i was willing to die and i'm telling my pastor what am i willing to do and he said you don't need to do that he says you need to be here he said you know you need to be the one to release other pastors to start campuses he says this is your home this is your base and you shouldn't be going anywhere i said you sure i said what happened who's going to go to seattle he says we're praying to god let god figure that out he says you don't have to be the one he said that just that he's like when you will be there he said you will be alone i was like i'll be connected to hungry jen he's like yeah three and a half hours he says that's it he put a needle in my little awesome revelation to change my life and i thank god he saved me i thank god and i rep i left i told my wife and i said like a truckload is off of my shoulders i mean i know what it's like to start construction of the church building the team and everything here from from the beginning i i know the pain i know the suffering i'm still dealing we're still growing growing pains and everything why in the world did i want to move to seattle to start that again like i don't know but see when you develop in my case it was little offense that slowly took root that then anything as long as i could just simply you know find my own ministry and everything not that i had no problem that i had a problem here and so god dealt with that when god dealt with that all that my pastor had to do he didn't say thus says the lord thou shalt not go to seattle he simply said uh yes i don't think it's not not a right time and then i remember something that happened with pastor elia you know i was like okay we're gonna find you know a scapegoat stand elia there really i volunteered and stuff and so but i i did not have peace about it elia goes to shepherd bashir's church bushiri you know god is giving you seattle and that's bushiri that's a man of god that's a prophet i just don't have peace about it and so i told my pastor and i said pastor i'm not a prophet i was like i just see all the red flags i don't know i just don't have peace about it so i talked to ilya i was like bro i know i'm not your papa bushiri i'm just your friend but i was like bro it's a disaster please don't go he's like okay i got it i won't and i was like what about the bashir he's like that's his prophecy he's gonna be accountable for that he's like he's like i have a pastor and i'm not a prophet in that but honestly looking back if we would have launched it right before the pandemic it wasn't it's not that instead what happened is that a landline church online church would have not been launched and stuff and so and i really really believe in my heart that we have to submit to the body submit to the body as a pastor i have to submit to the body the body has to submit to the pastor as a husband i submit to my wife as my wife she submits to me i'm not talking about where just one-way street but we are able to hear god even in a community that's why we got to be in a community even if your community is small it doesn't matter even if your community doesn't have necessarily apostles or prophets yet who function in that or maybe even the community doesn't have a pastor yet but be in a community there's a protection there and if god doesn't speak in the community like man but i'm i'm reaching out god doesn't speak i'm gonna give you a few other tips that maybe you and i just need to explore on second thing is relationship with the holy spirit is more important than revelation from the holy spirit so what i mean by this is that make sure you don't go to ask god for a word until you go to ask god for his presence i want you to see these two people david is distressed david is upset david is burned out david feels he just got rejected by the philistines who didn't want to have him fight alongside with them so david is coming back all of his wives were taken his children were taken everything he built was burned down he pretty much experienced bankruptcy divorce loss death everything all in one day because all of them are gone and he doesn't know if they're dead or not all of that in one day david is upset the bible says he was very distressed his guys are handling this different they're like we know who the problem is david is let's cut his head off how is that going to help us i don't know but we're upset we need to kill somebody so they're thinking about killing him david is upset and the bible says instead of blaming god philistines his guys himself why he didn't leave some guys to protect instead of blaming himself why he attacked a malachi secretly and told the philistines that he was attacking israelites and so instead of taking a blame game david does this he goes to the lord i want you to notice he's not asking god what should i do he went to the lord to get strength before he said god what should i do he went to god and he said god can you just love on me can you get me out of this little thing that i'm i don't know i got a glitch right here i can't my mind can't stop like thinking on its own god get me out of this god can you can you just cover me right now god i need your strength i don't know how he did it whether he prayed in tongues whether he worshipped whether he read his own psalms that he read whether he laid on the floor i don't know whatever he did the bible says he strengthened himself in the lord and then out of a place of i'm strong situation is still bad he says lord what should i do saul on the other hand is afraid scared he says god what did i do nothing what would have happened if saul would have went into the presence of god first and out of that he said lord what would you have me do your relationship is more important than a revelation and the problem why sometimes we don't hear anything from the lord is because we are not near to the lord if we want to hear we got to be near god does not like to be treated as a vending machine you punch the right numbers comes out god wants to be a personal with you god wants a relationship with you god wants you to grow closer to him as you go through what you go through and then come out of it and so that you will give him the glory you won't drop him like a hot potato because now he got you out and god was really not the goal of your life he was the means to get you to the goals and god's like i want to be your friend i want to be your father i want you to prioritize relationship with me strengthen yourself in me find your courage in me find your protection me come on somebody drop the fire emoji on youtube right now god says get me into you [Music] holy spirit will guide you if you let him be your comforter when all comforts fail until you renew your strength you can't receive from the holy spirit god wants to be your source of strength before he is a resource for our solution go to god to be filled with him before you go to him to be led by him the key to hear the voice of the holy spirit is first to be strengthened by the holy spirit when you are confused scared toxic bleeding oozing toxic waste out of your attitude don't run to god and say god give me a word run to god and say god give me you and say god here is me fix me feel me help me i'm scared god i'm worried god i'm mad god i'm it's just the way i am right now i'm not feeling good recalibrate me restore my soul renew my strength god i wait on you and those who wait upon you they will renew their strength renew my strength and the moment your strength is renewed say lord what should i do until you are in that place you can be misguided if you are hearing from a place of toxic emotions if you are hearing from a place of hurt you can hear very negative words that could not might not be god i love david's principle when you're hurting when you're afraid when you're lost go to him for strength yes god sees you need direction be like esther when you are desperate for deliverance invite the king for a date esther did not come to the palace of the king and give him a tantrum how dare you allow that to happen what kind of a husband are you it's been 30 days and you hang out with all these women and you never once asked me for a date you never asked me how i feel my country is being wiped out and you already conquered them killed my parents and now you're going to wipe them all out how dare you do that and walk away i'm pretty sure she felt doing that i'm pretty sure she thought of every scenario but she looked at that and she's like he's a king he's going to get me shot and killed so instead when she came and the king asked her what do you want esther this would be a good moment to give her i just want one thing save my nation and esther says i just want one thing i have a dinner prepared for you a banquet and by the way bring that joker haman why because i'm strong enough to eat in the presence of my enemy and while they were eating the king is asking so esther come on esther i know you didn't just invite me for a banquet i know you women i know you want something what do you want she said if it really pleases you king can you come for a banquet again tomorrow i mean the girl is cooking him she's literally she's like carrying him like this and he's letting be led like that because when the king knows that you're interested in him not in what he can do for you not only you got the king but the king has got you the second day heyman shows up again and see now something shifts when the king has finally ate her request now will not fall on deaf ears and when she asks the king she just says for one thing save my life guess what started to happen with haman this little jolly little happy kemper guy the bible says he got on his knees and started to beg you want to get your enemy on your knees on their knees on his knees give your king a banquet see some of us give our king a blame some of us give our king a piece of our mind some of us don't even go to our king for strength if you want to hear the lord draw near him be in the community number two just draw near him if you've never heard the voice of god if you've never heard what the lord wants you to do and you are today this this whole topic of hearing god's voice is so strange for you and you're not one of those people who's willing to put god set in front of every single thing that comes into your mind you're very you have a fear of the lord but to hear god's voice don't focus on hearing focus on being near you won't miss his voice he's your shepherd you're his sheep he's your father you are you're his child you will hear him when you're near him are you with me number three when we are filled with god's word we will become familiar with god's voice have you noticed that it says in here about saul in chronicles he died for his unfaithfulness which he had committed against the lord so we covered that he wasn't near god he didn't seek to be near god but i want you to notice another phrase it says because what was part of his unfaithfulness because he did not keep the word of the lord he didn't keep the torah this is not the voice of the lord which we're going to talk about in just a second he also disobeyed the voice but he did not keep the word of the lord in other words he came to god say lord speak to me and when god has given him the word he didn't keep it read it study it dwelt in it obey it you know what saddens me about my generation is that it's a generation of god said when jesus was on earth he always said it is written our generation even little guys literally just just got delivered yesterday and every other word in their sermon god told me god told me god told me god told me god told me and so i teach our young guys less of god said more of it is written not that i doubt your ability to hear god it's the reason why you say god said is because you know people don't trust you so you think that if you just simply put god's name in front of everything that comes out of your mouth it makes you more spiritual but most of us who've been around the block a little bit we know all of this is you're just a young teenager you're just a young person i want you to notice when adam was in the garden with eve and satan came he says has god said because there was no word of the lord there was just a voice of god and therefore satan poked around the voice of god and he says has god said and eve says yes god has said in the wilderness jesus replies the devil when the devil tempts him and he doesn't say well god said he said it is written all jesus had to do is say i said and the devil would have trembled all jesus had to do to say i am the word devil shut up he didn't do that he said it is written and the devil is not dumb he comes back and he says well it is also written and jesus said oh i don't know what to do and he's stuck around it is written again the third time devil came and jesus says it is written this is what i realized about us people who get extremely sensitive to the voice of god who don't live in god's word wilderness wipes them out they're good as long as every prophetic word comes true everyone gets healed the paychecks are coming in everyone accepts me and loves me the moment life throws a curveball they don't know what to do because you can't throw at the devil well god said oh wait that word was actually supposed to come in december of last year that didn't come true and the devil will punch you back and he said did he yeah good point devil the word didn't come true it was supposed to come true actually yeah what about the other word and what he will do is he will punch you right in the face and that's why as a christian your best weapon is not to try to explain to the devil why the prophetic word didn't come true what happened with that prophet what happened with this one what happened with that word that you really felt like god spoke to you in the morning your best defense and god wants you to know if you want to hear my voice keep my word it is written study the bible read the bible my friends it's time for us pentecostal charismatics to get back in the bible open our bible and read the word highlight the bible memorize the bible keep the word of the lord your word have hidden in my heart that i will not sin against you his word is the light his word is the seed his word is the hammer his word is the honey his word is your sword his word is his voice his voice is there and if you are stuck in the wilderness right now and you heard the voice of the lord at the river jordan i'm going to tell you one thing what will get you through the wilderness is not the voice in the in the jordan what's going to get you is the scripture is you're going to have to open up your by your mouth and begin to speak it is written god said he will never leave me it will never forsake me god says he loves me therefore he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life god said that greater is he that is in me than the one that's in the world god said that i can do all things through christ who strengthens me god said that if i walk through the valley of the shadow of death i will fear no evil for you are with me your rod and your stuff they comfort me god said that he will prepare a table in the presence of my enemies god said he will anoint my head with oil god said goodness to mercy will follow me all the days of my life god said that if you will keep this word and if it will not depart your mouth god says that you will make your way prosperous and you will have good success if god said that you will be like a tree planted by the rivers of living water and you will bear fruit in his season your leaf will not wither and everything that you do will be blessed by giving god's head it is written come on somebody shout it is written well somebody shout it is written somebody touch your neighbor say learn the bible let them touch your other name but they shouldn't think about first say study the word take a seat say this with me if you can't get a word from god get into the word of god if you want a word from god get into the word of god i'm not in any way belittling or saying that it's not important what i want us is to build our foundation as a church on the word of the lord if every other word comes out of your mouth is god said god said god told me to quit my job god told me to leave my wife god told me not to be with my kids anymore god told me to do this god told me god told me god told me but your whole life doesn't resemble of it is written it's in the bible 90 of every direction we need in life is right here the rest of it god will reveal to us as we seek him in prayer and last tip on how to hear god and why i believe some people don't hear god anymore if you can't hear god's voice today it's because you did not heed his voice yesterday i want you to notice for samuel 28 18 it says this because you did not obey the voice of the lord yesterday what was saul's problem when god spoke he did not do what he said so now he wanted god to speak again [Music] if god spoke before something to do and you did not follow through and you found yourself in the fork where god is not speaking can i invite you today go back to where he spoke and do that thing he will speak again you are responsible for for heeding the voice you are hearing we are responsible when i was younger and i did not discern the voice of the lord as i as i know that today i was my prayer i remember even fasting for days god hear speak to me speak to me speak to me i did not know the weight that i will have to carry afterward to do that word i because in my mind i thought hearing god's voice simply meant that i'm gonna give everybody prophetic words or words of knowledge but of course i asked him to speak to me about my life and when he started to speak to me about giving about forgiving my prayer after that's the lord speak less i got enough right now lord i know what to do i got it i got it lord unless he's just encouraging me which god doesn't it just gives gives direction he also gives encouragement he also is he's our father you know i don't just tell my wife what to do i also tell her i love her i tell her you know i'm with her and so don't get this view of god that he's just like tells you like like navigation map you know or he's your map guidance no he's your father he is your is your guide but when it comes to lord what should i do next what should i do next ask yourself a question if you're not hearing god today has be spoke has he spoken before where you said um i don't like that i'm not gonna do that why should he speak now if he did not get the proper honor of his word being followed through and that's really what happened with saul god said destroy a malachite saul said yeah he did it halfway god says you're no longer a king yeah i'm going to still be a king you'll see i'm going to still hold on to my crown and then god stops speaking and then saul just lives his own life on his own and finally he hits crisis he cannot get his head wrapped around he can't figure out a military solution for that he's trying to reach god and god stops speaking and then saul goes outside of christian community and talks to somebody who's a medium he gets a word from samuel but he still dies in a battle and the scripture gives us a real reason why he wasn't faithful he didn't keep the word of the lord and he did not obey the voice of the lord when god speaks and you don't obey the next time he speaks quieter the next time it's not that he speaks quieter it's that we hear him less every time you disobey the voice of the lord it's like on a computer you know you have that button where it lowers the volume of whatever is playing each time you disobey you're hitting lower volume lower volume lower vault music is still playing you're just hearing it less and less until comes a point you're like man i don't want to hear and you hit mute the music is playing and all you got to do today you don't need to get a new computer you don't need to fix your speakers you just need to unmute whatever is playing in your computer and same thing has to happen in our relationship with god all we got to do is we got to repent we got to come back to the father and say lord where i have disobeyed and sometimes the lord will bring it to you if he doesn't bring it to you don't look don't look for it if god doesn't bring into you don't go in your background trying to figure out where you disobey god trust me you're gonna get you're gonna find something okay your backyard is not necessarily filled with treasure it's filled with a lot of mistakes okay so do not go looking for an open door or some kind of a sin that you left unrepented please don't do that because if you do that the devil will get you right on the hook bible tells us to look for his face not for a sin and as you look for his face when the light comes on you will see the dust and then god will give you the power to clean the dust but if you go looking for the dust in the dark my friend you're going to make a mess out of your life our focus is the eyes of god our focus is the face of jesus our focus is the presence of the holy spirit our focus is the glory of god our focus is the feet of jesus as you look for that god will begin to remind you hey son you did not obey me there hey son i asked you to forgive this person hey son i asked you i mean it was very clear in the bible don't sleep with your girlfriend you don't need a word from god for that all you got to do is just obey that word son obey my word keep my word and then you will hear my voice last final thing i'm going to say if you've done all of these and you're like lad i still don't hear it's because god is testing you have you been to school when the teacher talks 30 minutes every day you want the teacher to stop talking after a while it doesn't stop talking until that one day on friday little pieces of paper i handed out it's called quiz or a test and then that's when you want the teacher to start telling you everything and the teacher goes her mouth she quiets her tongue and you're like hey and she says silence you can hear flies in the room you can hear your own heartbeat telling you fool you should have studied yesterday not played the video game when the teacher doesn't speak it's a sign you are taking a test when the teacher doesn't speak it does not mean the teacher left the room it still means the teacher is there it just means you're taking a test god will speak again god will guide again but dwell in his presence dwell in his glory walk obedient to his word and you will see he will guide you i believe in the voice of god i believe if it wouldn't be for the voice of god i wouldn't do what i do today i heard preach but it was the voice of god that confirmed that upstairs in my room at 12 o'clock on wednesday when i was about 16 years of age it was honestly the confirmation of that that peace guidance is how i got married it's how i gave a lot of cars away almost almost every single year i feel that prompting sometimes it's in the service the holy spirit just says i want you to do that and then i would see a breakthrough in that particular area of my life it's how in the beginning of the year on the sixth day of fasting we declared a 21 day fast and i was in california and at my friend david diego's conference and i got on my knees the presence of god it was so strong and i felt strong sense it was so clear as a day i could take a bullet for that word that it was god and he says i want you to do it for 40 days your ministry has never started your ministry should be started with a prolonged fast my son did it you're my son you're gonna have to follow his steps i got up and i knew that i knew that i knew that i knew god called me to fast for 40 days mind you i didn't the more the more most i did was 18 days i thought i want to die from it god's supernatural strength sustained me through that i saw my vladimir subject ministry literally doubled and in some areas quadrupled right after 40 day fast i saw breakthrough that i didn't think even is possible for me why did that breakthrough come because of obedience to god's voice but why was that voice comes my friend we have to live in a community we have to draw near to here we have to stay in his word and then we have to watch that the words were spoken to us by god we are faithful with them and then if we are in a season of silence don't get discouraged stay close to god and what do you do when you're taking a test in school you remember what the teacher said before she stopped speaking so when you're taking a test to remember everything god has promised remember everything god has said remember who he is and remember what he has done in your life and you will see that season will be over and god will not only speak again god will break through in your life again in jesus name every believer is meant to live their life led by the holy spirit sons are led by the spirit of god god wants to lead your life god wants to guide your love god doesn't want you to guess through life god doesn't want you to copy somebody else's life god doesn't want you to just do everything that everybody else is doing he wants you to be led by his spirit but to be led by his spirit we must stay in a community because we are a body we're not an island we're not jack bauer we're not you know this iron man you know all of these you know spider-man and one man we are a body we're not one man we're not a one-man show we are a body we are to stay in his word we are to stay committed to the voice that he has spoken before and then when we hit a season of silence we stay committed to god knowing he is faithful and he has never never ever abandon of relationship or loss of business or maybe lost of an opportunity or maybe like david your face you act like soul you face is some kind of a battle and you feel like even your life is not what is supposed to be with god and today you're saying you know what i need god first before i need that breakthrough [Music] i need god first before i need that breakthrough every head bowed and every eye closed if you're in this room and you don't have that connection with the lord through jesus christ as your lord and savior you have not repented of your sin and today you're recognizing your need for god you say i want to be saved i want jesus to forgive me of my sins i want to be a child of god i want to experience that privilege of healing god i am not there what i supposed to be with jesus if the lord were to come today i don't know what i would spend eternity if you're in one of those two categories of maybe you used to know the lord and then you just forfeited that relationship you walked away from him i want to invite you the opportunity to give you the opportunity to give your life to jesus once again when i count to three i'm gonna ask you to just raise your hand if you say i want to get saved i want to come back to jesus one two three just raise that hand high if you say hey i would like to get saved i would like to give my life to the lord today i would like to surrender my whole life to jesus today in jesus name the other part that i want to pray for right now and that's mainly for people who are in this room and you would love to hear the voice of god maybe your christian life is characterized by your own ability by your own strength and you you're realizing it's failing your own strength is not enough to meet the challenges somehow they said god will never put more than you can handle and it feels like he's putting way more than you can handle because he never intended for you to live life on your own that's why life will always give you more than you can handle and if you are in that place right now spiritually emotionally relationally financially you're like man i need to know the voice of god i have never heard him or it's been a long time already and i feel like i lost god as my strength and now i need a solution you can come to the front we want to minister to you if you're struggling in your relationship with the holy spirit if you are right now somewhere lost in that we're not talking about salvation we're talking about just your connection to the holy ghost maybe there's some kind of a clockage that happens right now we want to minister to you want to pray for breakthrough today that if you came one way you will walk out different that god will clear anything that is hindering between you and the lord that your life will be full of his guidance and leadership as the worship team will continue to sing if you need that ministry prayer also if you are physically ill and you're battling with the sickness and you need prayer just come as well we want to minister to you as well today is the day for a miracle today is the day for breakthrough and today is the day for god's solution to come into your life but he will be your strength before he becomes your solution in jesus name lord we thank you lord we praise you lord we love you and everyone else i'm assuming you're already super connected let's begin to pray in the holy ghost begin to pray in the spirit begin to just connect with the lord pour out your heart to god begin to let god know how much you love him let the holy spirit know that he is your friend whatever the situation looks like for you but this is the last quarter of the year every year there are four quarters and this is the last quarter of the year where at the beginning of at the end of last year you were asking yourselves for resolutions and what you're going to do and how the lord is going to move and things may not have looked the way that maybe you were expecting but this is the last quarter this is the last inning of 2021 and i want us to pray right now as we just get ready to collect offerings rather as i tell you that offerings are going to be at the designated locations that voice and maybe he's talking to you about your business some changes you need to do some modifications to the algorithms as you're promoting it or whatever that looks like for you maybe in your marriage or maybe within your home or your organization but this is the last quarter of 2021 [Music] let's not cruise in this last quarter just with your offerings as you get ready to go out and this last quarter lord that there would be a great awakening a great eye opening lord a great unmuting of the father's voice lord we ask you lord that we would be strengthened by you lord and in that strengthening father that we would hear clearly your words that we would hear clearly your voice that we will hear clearly lord the things that you have for us father i ask and i declare and i decree lord that what we have to offer lord that we place it humbly lord on your altar father and that we sacrifice it father and that in this last quarter that there would be lord a great awakening a great
