How to Green Screen on CapCut | Chroma Key CapCut 2023

welcome back to my channel I hope you guys are doing well in today's video we're going to learn how to use the chroma key effect or green screen effect on cap card software jacket as you might know is an extremely famous software that is used by millions of people these days a lot of YouTubers take talkers a lot of people are using it it is easy to use takes less memory not very heavy on your phone or your PC and a very good software tool to actually have without wasting any more time let me open up capcat on my phone load a new project and first of all we're going to select the background so in my case I'm going to use this background I'll add it to my timeline so you guys can see that the background is added to my timeline now I'm going to increase the length or duration of this next thing that you want to do right now you guys can see and this is extremely important this is where a lot of people get confused my background is selected right now you see this white square around it you need to deselect this first after you decide like this you would get an option to add overlay you need to tap overlay add overlay go to videos scroll down and select the video with a green background so select this one and I'll add it to my timeline it's already added to my timeline I'm going to increase the size of it so that it fits the screen or the canvas my video is right here and it fits the canvas now if I want to remove the background here so instead of the green screen if I want to use the background that I selected first that you guys see here on top of my video while the video is selected I will scroll towards the right side and I would get a cut out option here I would tap cut out and I would get a chroma key option on the bottom right corner I would tap chroma key and I would get the Color Picker so I would put it on the green color somewhere on the screen here I would select the green color and after that I can increase the intensity or change the shadow option first let's go to intensity and start increasing the intensity slowly now you guys can see as soon as I start increasing the intensity it has removed the background but if you look closely my face is also being cut out here which I don't want so what I'll do now is I'll actually go back to the Color Picker and I'll move it slightly and I'll see if it makes it any better so I move the Color Picker slightly and then I'll go to Shadow and I'll start increasing Shadow so as soon as I increase the shadow you guys can see my face is clear now and I can keep increasing it wherever I see it the best fit so I can see this is it's looking good here so I'll just tap the tick mark and let me go ahead and play the video just for a moment you guys can see I'm playing the video it is looking pretty good my videos background is changed instead of that green screen now I'm seeing the background that I selected so that's how you use the green screen effect on capgrid if you have any questions let me know in the comments section I'll see you in the next video thank you bye [Music] thank you
