How to get rid of weeds on pavers and driveways Permanently - Organic Way

[Music] hi guys so today i'm going to be showing you how you can get rid of weeds in your pavers and this is a very common issue that you may be facing in different parts of the world you know and today i'm going to be teaching you a way that you can really take care of the weeds and it will really kill the weeds and i'll show you some examples of the difference of live weeds versus the ones that were dead you know with this method so let's take a look so so here you can see i have some beads right here and uh here you can see the dead ones are very obvious you can see the difference you know this is live one that's a live one and these are completely dead and i'll tell you exactly how i achieved this results you can see some of the dead ones and it really kills kills the wheat and then um then you see some growing right here so we'll take care of some of these reeds uh you know you'll see plenty right here so we're gonna spray all this out and uh there are some a lot over there that we're gonna be taking care of as well so all this we're going to spray today okay so today we're going to be making up this formula that i'm going to share with you on how to properly mix the vinegar formula so it's uh not bad for your health you know so there are different ways different chemicals people use to kill these weeds and those chemicals could be very harmful to you but by using this method you are not exposed to those harmful chemicals the very first thing i'm going to recommend is getting a nice spray so this is something i picked up from harbor freights it's like around seven bucks and uh you know this is much handier and easier than the spray bottle that you normally see and the spray bottles i don't like it because you know by the time you keep squeezing it depending on how much weed you really have it really hurts your hand and you know they end up breaking but this is a pump you know that you can pump just by creating section like this you know inside the bottle and then it when you press this you know it kind of sprays the liquid out of from here from the nozzle so they also have those bigger ones you know i don't really like the bigger ones because you may only use it for a smaller application or you may not want to store it uh and reuse it so you know this one is much easier so just a small bottle 0.5 gallon and i think that's plenty and you can this is so easy to make that you can make it any time and uh just store it at an easy convenient place and just keep spraying a smaller area anytime you see any wheat growing so uh the idea is to control the wheat very first time and then just maintain it by using this so once you have this uh highly recommend you getting a distilled white vinegar now there are different types of vinegar and uh i'll show you how you can tell you know uh what the dilution rate is so over here you can see this is reduced to five percent acidity right so the more concentration you have for vinegar the better the better it is uh five percent is not too high but this is what's available in walmart and stuff like that you know so if you can find something that is more uh concentrated that's much better vinegar of course the more acidity the more faster the results will be you can still achieve the results with this but it may take a few more days then a more harsher um you know vinegar would do it so vinegar has this acidity inside you know that's what pretty much kills the weed now if you just spray the vinegar you know it may not stick to the leaves because the idea is once you spray the chemical the chemical is supposed to stick to the leaves and get absorbed by the leaves into the plant root and kill the whole thing but if you just spray this it may not work so um you have to mix this uh dish soap and not a whole lot just a little bit you know the dish soap kind of makes it a little bit tangy and it gets stuck to the leaves and then the salt kind of helped increase the acidity you know the whole thing so you're not going to mix any water guys do not mix water because that will even dilute the solution even more so don't do that you know so let's go ahead and make the solution so we're going to go ahead and pour this whole thing in there as you can see this is not even half a gallon um you know it's pretty much empty uh so i got this now you have to mix salt and then dawn dish soap on it okay so now what is the exact quantity that you want to use it all depends on how much vinegar you're using so in this case um you know just two teaspoons yes two teaspoons and i don't have a whole lot so i'm just gonna go ahead and put the entire quantity in there which is about three full teaspoons you know that i put in there so once i put the salt in there let's go ahead and put the vinegar i mean the dawn dish soap and i'm gonna put like maybe half a teaspoon in there now some of the recommendation method is uh once you mix vinegar with the salt you're supposed to shake it and get everything mixed before you add the dawn but quite frankly it doesn't really matter it will dissolve either way so now we're gonna shake it see what happens is when you shake it with the soap in there it creates this foam and that's why they recommend shaking it afterwards that's why they recommend shaking it before in fact so everything get mixed up you know so your bottle don't get filled up with the with the soil but in our case you know it's not a whole lot so i still have enough room to shake it that's why i didn't mix it right after i mix the salt with vinegar so we're gonna just shake it a few more times oops and then now we're gonna i think we're ready to spray let's go ahead and uh spray this on the weed and then we'll come back and look at the results when everything is dead okay so now we're going to go ahead and pump this that's good enough now we're ready to spray okay okay so the whole thing is sprayed and i think we're gonna wait and uh i'm gonna keep monitoring them after 24 hours and uh 48 hours and see how it's uh killing the weeds within those time frame so we'll be back okay so it's been about an hour and a half and i just want to show you guys uh the results of this and i'm kind of surprised that uh how fast it's acting so as you can see it's already starting to die and it's and i think it matters what kind of weed you have but some of them like this one you can see it's already almost dying this is guys just one hour later over here you can see how it's already starving and seems like it's almost dying so we'll come back after 24 hours and then we'll see how this one looks okay so this is after 24 hours and uh just gonna show you guys the area that i sprayed and you can see how it killed it all this area now there were some spots that i did not spray it on because i kind of ran out of it so those are the ones that you see that they're not dead but if you can see there were a few ones that i missed so these are still alive but you can see the whole thing just died yeah so i definitely think this thing works and uh this is probably the safest and the cheapest way you can get rid of wheats uh from your driveway so again highly recommend it you know i would not use any kind of chemical or roundup or whatever they sell out there i'm not sure vinegar a mixture of vinegar is the best and the safest way there are some companies you know who sell them the vinegar mixtures and things like that those are also safe to use but i'm i'm happy with this product you know very satisfied so guys hopefully this video helps you guys get rid of your weeds in the driveway and uh you know once you kill the beets you can just pressure wash it or get a wire brush and just scrub it off and this thing will go
