How to Find the BEST Pristine Weapons in The Depths of Tears of the Kingdom

what's going on everyone Austin  John plays here and today we're   going to be going over how you can  get pristine weapons from the depths   and Hunt specific weapons that you  want in tears of the Kingdom [Music]   first of all what are pristine weapons pristine  weapons are going to be clean weapons that are   not affected by Gloom for example these decayed  Royal Claymores that you've been seeing everywhere   in the game a non-decayed version or a pristine  version has an attack of 34 compared to 14. the   entire time that you've been playing this game  and the time that you've been complaining about   getting bad weapons that break all the time it's  because you're using decayed weapons not pristine   weapons in this video I'm going to be going over  how you can find specific pristine weapons that   you want to get and for this you're gonna be  spending a lot of time in the depths and I mean   a significant portion of time because all of these  pristine weapons are going to be handed to you by   these soldiers nice I was actually hunting for  this one there are three different types of   soldiers one-handed two-handed and spear-wielding  soldiers that are going to be presenting you these   pristine weapons within the depths and every  single one of them has a very specific pool   that they are able to pull from this pool may be  affected by its location your game progress and   your specific weapon achievements at time of  recording there was a lot of research done by   a buddy of mine a fellow YouTuber Philly beats  you his video is going to be linked down below   that's going to be explaining his theory behind  you actually have to obtain the decayed version   of a weapon and then you have to destroy it it  needs to be completely broken for it to enter   the pool within the depths so this Eightfold blade  that I just got I got this because I've already   destroyed innatefold blade in the Overworld and  my hidden exp system is high enough that way it's   actually going to be spawning in for me I've  made a whole video explaining how the secret   exp system worked in breath of the wild and we  believe it's pretty similar although there are   some new stipulations based in this game that once  there's more information I'm going to make a more   detailed video about that now there's a very good  chance that when I talked about pristine weapons   in the depths the one thing you're probably  saying is Well every time I'm down there it just   Travelers Spears and traveler one-handed swords  and there's a very specific reason for that your   very first time that you were in the presence  of one of these shadow soldiers they spawned in   a specific weapon and that specific weapon was  then locked to that one soldier now every time   that there's going to be a Blood Moon that item  is going to respawn however it's important that   you actually get rid of the inventory that that  Soldier is holding over here I have a pedestal   and on top of there we have a soldier and it looks  like he's holding Travelers one-handed sword now   this guy has a soldier's broadsword and that means  that every time that he's gonna be spawning in   he's gonna be having a soldier's broadsword or a  traveler's broadsword or I think also a knight's   broadsword I think those three are sort of have  grouped together those three groups of weapons   and if you don't want a soldier's broadsword all  you have to do is go ahead take the weapon and   then just throw it on the floor I would then  recommend coming here and marking where that   weapon was and I like using a system of swords  for one-handed weapons leaves for Spears because   they fly through the air and two-handed weapons  I Mark with a person icon there's not a lot under   the central Hyrule Field area and anytime that  I find all three of them at once I put down a   heart icon now you can actually very very easily  identify where these soldiers are at any time all   you have to do is look at your map and look for  a circle within a circle like right here this is   going to be a soldier presenting a weapon what  I just said as far as when a soldier renders in   that means that if you haven't ever gone to that  Soldier he's never had a weapon assigned to him   and you can go over there and you can find out  what he's going to be having and through a method   of save spam aiming you can actually find a very  specific weapon you're looking for in order to   find Gerudo weapons you need to make your way to  the Gerudo area now I'm going to use Heroes path   mode to see exactly where I have and have not  been in the depths and you can see right here   that I made a big old path going between a bunch  of these very specific weapons just from what I   observed on the map but right here I haven't been  here I've been here on the surface but not in the   depths so right here is a double circle that I  know that I've never gone to before because of   that I'm going to mark it down with a pot because  it's potluck I don't know what I'm gonna get there   now don't be fooled by these larger circles these  ones are going to be the large mushrooms that you   could Ascend through to get height no we're only  looking for those small circle in circles I found   one right here have I been here before I haven't  I mean I was a little close but it may have not   spawned in so I'm gonna go try that one once I  load in I just look at the direction that I know   it's going to be which is to the north and it  should be right ahead somewhere if we go ahead   then actually transform this into one of the pins  that way anytime I'm in first person I'm gonna see   a big old pillar where it's going to be and great  I can see the platform it's directly ahead right   over this hill so all I have to do is put down  a save I like to go a little bit of a distance   and then once I know that it's still not loaded  in I like to save it again I also give myself a   little bit of leeway room and as I get closer if I  investigate the soldier I'm gonna see that he has   two-handed weapons long swords Claymores things  like that and I think this is a Travelers yeah a   traveler's Claymore well I don't want a traveler's  Claymore so all I have to do is just reload from   my save as we go ahead and we get closer and we  load back in it's now a Gerudo Claymore which is   exactly what I wanted and now that this Soldier is  no longer holding a weapon at the next blood moon   it's going to be spawning in with a two-handed  weapon and I'm gonna mark it down with a little   person icon now do keep in mind once again at time  of recording it is believed that you have had to   obtained a Gerudo Claymore in the oval world  and destroyed it in order for it to spawn in   the depths in its pristine version I'm gonna go  over here and investigate this one because while   a Gerudo Claymore is cool and all I kind of want  a Gerudo Scimitar in my mind I want the Gerudo   one-handed weapon I want the zorus spear I want  the Goron two-handed weapons and I want Dorito   bows although you're not going to find bows down  here I don't really like the Rita weapons in this   game yes it's wind Elemental and it pushes  enemies back a little bit which is cool but   I don't find that to be too useful you may it's  your own experience let's go ahead and drop down   a save right in front of this pedestal nope this  is another two-handed so they have a traveler's   Claymore all I have to do is load from my hard  save Travelers Claymore for the second time I've   loaded this traveler's clay Morgan five times and  it's always going to be the exact same weapon and   it's not the weapon I want so I'm gonna go ahead  take it from him and I'm gonna eat it off then   I'm gonna come here I'm gonna mark it down that  it's a two-handed weapon I specifically want a   one-handed weapon and I did see one that was over  here somewhere this stand right here that I could   see that I haven't been to I was here on the  surface but not in the underground I'm going to   mark this down as a pot for potluck actually it's  where I'm going to now so I'm going to mark it as   a pin now this is actually a good distance away  so I'm going to choose to instead of fast travel   there I'm going to build myself a zonai device  and I'm gonna set my Hyrule compendium sensor   plus to the Gerudo Scimitar pristine version  if you've already seen one before then great   or you just buy this from the compendium robot  inside of the contain oh Tech Lab and the reason   we send it to sensor plus is because while I'm  on my way there there may be soldiers that I   didn't even see on the map like this one that's  going to be underneath this giant Arch over here   this guy I wouldn't be able to see from the map so  because of that that's a place there could be one and I accidentally just fell but my sensor plus  started going off that there's a Gerudo Scimitar   nearby right here this perfectly exemplified  exactly what I was talking about here's the Gerudo   scimitarian that we want now hang on before you  go ahead and grab it put down a hard save because   while the weapon has been generated and we've  just locked in with the hard save that he has this   weapon we have not yet generated what the modifier  is going to be so if we go ahead and pick it up we   can see that we got attack up nine which isn't bad  but if you want to you can literally stay here and   look for durability up which I would recommend  for Gerudo weapons or you could get attack up   10 or whatever specific modifier that you want you  can get it by just saving doing a hard save on top   of this platform and then reloading for whatever  reason an auto save right here will not produce   the same results I got long throw that's probably  the one thing that I definitely don't want now   after you go ahead and get the specific modifier  that you want like durability up on a Gerudo   Scimitar pristine make sure you go ahead and mark  down what weapon it was at that location I still   didn't even make my way over here but honestly you  don't really need that many pins like if I want   all three of the Gerudo weapons I could just save  and run over to the same one over and over so from   this one light route right here for record here  I am on the map above the dragon's Exile I could   find a two-handed weapon a one-handed weapon and  a spear very close to one another and then I also   have three more chances at a Gerudo Scimitar so if  I want to be lazy and just fly around real quick I   have four five six seven chances at a one-handed  guerrito Scimitar or if I want to do the reload   I could do that and as you could probably imagine  all of these specific races of weapons are going   to be located near their homes so from the Rideau  Village while you're underground all you have to   do is find a light route that there's going to  be some soldiers handy look at your path see if   you haven't gone there yet and if you haven't  gone there like this perfect example go ahead   and mark down a pot and explore it I'm not going  to do the Rito because I have no use for that   underneath the great Deku Tree is where you're  going to be able to find the forest dwellers   weapons including the forest dweller Spear and  the force dweller sword I believe there's only   the two yeah here's the forest dweller's sword  here's the forest dweller spear pristine but   there's no Claymores or two-handed weapons okay  for Goron weapons which are some of the best ones   that you can get for fighting Stone taluses and  frocks because they require you to destroy the   ore deposits anytime that you're under the Elden  region so all you need to do is look at where   they're going to be also there's a whole bunch  right around the Death Mountain crater there's   going to be a bunch of them these three I haven't  explored although I have been this way before   I haven't been to this one yet let's go ahead  and explore that hopefully it's a two-handed   weapon and now I'm close but not too close to  spawn the soldier ring I'm gonna go ahead drop   down a hard save and he has Spears there's no  Goron spear so resetting on him is going to be   pretty much useless but let's go ahead and see if  I actually did these other two I may have already   grabbed them I may have already claimed them or it  was before the last blood moon they're literally   right out here in the open so I might as well go  ahead save and try it right and as we approach we   can see he does in fact have two-handed weapons  perfect that looked like a traveler's Claymore   I'm gonna reset my game and go over to him again  after reloading eight times he had the exact same   weapon all eight times so clearly this is one  that I haven't removed his inventory since the   last time I saw him pick it up toss it into  the lava mark it down that it's going to be   a two-handed weapon which is definitely one of  the ones that we want and we move on to the next   one it's as simple as that now do keep in mind  you gotta break an original one and I know that   you could definitely definitely find one in  the Overworld this one platform right here so   from the shrine on top of Death Mountain directly  west on this one little platform you are going to   be finding a boulder Smasher there it's going to  respawn every blood moon it's gonna be super easy   barely an inconvenience after several reloads it  has never changed from being a soldier's Claymore   so I know for a fact that there's no chance that  it's going to be my my Goron weapon so we're gonna   take it and we're gonna throw it into the lava  but I'm gonna mark down that it's two-handed one   and next Blood Moon I'm gonna come back now I've  already gone through and marked the rest of these   and for me specifically I reloaded from right  here and I was able to check both of these fairly   quickly so you just repeat this until we get a  better weapon [Music] as I approach I can clearly   see that that's not a traveler's Claymore or  soldier's Claymore I had four Travelers claymore's   three Soldier Claymores and now finally a cobble  Crusher and doing that I was able to go ahead and   get myself the Cobble Crusher durability up that I  wanted when it comes to Zoro weapons that's gonna   be underneath Zora's domain which I'll admit is  going to be a little bit a little bit cumbersome   for you to navigate because of all the height and  terrain changes but we do have this one handy one   right here right next to the uh the muktarak  platform let's go ahead and try this one out   and I'm specifically looking for a zorus spear  the Zora spear you can upgrade that to the light   scale Trident if you want or you just keep it as a  zorus beer which is great anytime that you're wet   as soon as I loaded in it was there this one is  too close to the light root so because of that   you would actually need to be further away or put  down a hard save and then fast travel back here   every time to try to re-roll this weapon but as  you see right underneath the Zora area Zora spear   and you obviously want to go ahead and Mark  that as the specific weapon it is and great   I've actually found a few of them I found a  two-handed a one-handed and Azores spear over   here if you're looking for them in the Overworld  there is this small pond right here that there   is a lizalfa wielding one and then there's  also going to be a one-time chest with one   and I think there's one just randomly on the  floor or maybe I'm thinking of the Liz Alpha   One I don't remember the Zora sword and longsword  right over here where varuda was in breath of the   wild there's gonna be one Los Alpha with Azora  sword and one Liz Alpha with the Zora long sword   we cover the Gerudo we covered the Zora we skipped  the Rito because it's not great Eightfold blades   and Eightfold long blades are going to be  underneath kakariko Village because those   are shiko weapons that are now yielded by the  ego which makes sense so next to the abandoned   kakariko mine is where you're going to be able  to find a bunch of them and this area extends   down here to the dueling Peaks area so all of  the Shadow soldiers here have a chance to have   the Eightfold blade and the Eightfold Long Blade  at the very beginning of the video I got mine from   I forgot which one it was because I was recording  and I didn't mark it down and anytime did you need   eight fold blades or eight fold long blades you  just go to any of the chica encampments there's   gonna be a soldier and a foot soldier there so  you can go to the one on the great Plateau or   you could go to the yiga headquarters or get  ambushed by them the yiga clan Merida branch   which is right next to the plains over here by the  great Hyrule forest or always the akalaicha Tech   Lab up here at the top right of the map those guys  have these weapons very easy to get your hands on   I personally not a big fan of those Royal Guards  weapons Royal Guard weapons have the ability that   they do double damage in the last three hits  and then of course on its very last hit when   it's going to break it's going to be doing double  double damage I found my Royal Guards Claymore   right here next to This Light root underneath  the rutamala hill that's where I found mine   so I'm gonna go ahead through this area and mark  down the ones that I see because it's a nice flat   area oh and I have not been anywhere over here  perfect I'm actually going to be going from this   light root and turning my sensor Plus on that way  I may come across the exact one that I want and of   course if you want decayed versions of the royal  guards weapons all you need to do is make your way   to the above area of Hyrule castle in the soldiers  area right next to the library inside of Princess   Zelda's room her study there's gonna be a whole  bunch of Royal Guards weapons so let's go ahead   and try out this route and see what we find okay  I found one pedestal I would like to get on top   of this platform without spawning him in that'd  be really nice on top of this ledge over here   nice smooth Landing beautiful oh and we spawned  him in Shucks and he has a two-handed weapon   that might have been one but I already showed  you guys where you could find a two-handed one   I'm specifically hunting for a one-handed  one oh I got a notification from my sensor   plus before I even made my way over to a soldier  it's this one that I didn't even spot on the map   here we go royal guard sword pristine now I'm  gonna go ahead drop down a hard save right in   front of it because I specifically would like  attack up on on this and after three or four   resets I was able to get myself attack up 10 which  is fantastic and significantly faster than doing   the whole uh Rock OCTA Rock thing so that is a  royal guards sword and now the only thing left   would be a royal guard spear if that's something  that you want from this platform that I'm at I'm   actually right above one so I'm gonna go ahead  drop down oh and he is spear wielding great that's   a traveler spear let's go ahead reload the game  traveler spear two times in a row three times in   a row I got a soldier spear so it is changing oh  there we go the sensor plus is letting me know   that this reset is going to be the exact weapon  that I want there's our Royal Guard spear let's   go ahead save the game before we pick it up I  got long throw on it I definitely don't want long   throw all we have to do is reload the game and if  your inventory is already full and if you don't   have the weapon yet you're gonna get that nice  little prompt that way you don't have to go to   the inventory screen which is always handy long  throw again durability up I mean to be honest I   don't actually plan on using this weapon so I'm  just gonna go ahead and grab it and there we go   there's the Royal Guards sword Gerudo Scimitar  Eightfold blade Zora sword the Cobble Crusher   I showed you where you get the griddo Claymore  and Gerudo spear how you get the Royal Guards   Claymore and Spear and also the Zora Spear and  then also if you want the Zora long sword go for   it I also went over where you could find the  forest dwellers weapons which is underneath   the Clorox Forest great Hyrule Forest there is  also the boomerang that you can get next to the   Forgotten Temple so underneath here is where  you're going to be able to get the boomerang   I feel like you should also be able to get it  underneath lurlin Village or maybe that Zoro   weapons I actually haven't gone here and checked  out what these soldiers are going to be yet so you   might find them there as well maybe I don't know  let me know in a comment down below that's all   the major classes of pristine weapons that you're  going
