hi in this video i'm going to cover transferring animations using the dash to blender bridge version 2022 now i'm starting out uh in that studio with a figure with clothing in here already uh opened up in the scene and i have her selected so now i'm going to go to my animations content and add an animate animation and the animate or any block animations are different from timeline based animations in that they show up in the separate tab here and in order to use them with the das bridge we need to bake them into the timeline so i click on the animate light tab here and anywhere in this blank space i right click and i select bake to studio keyframes and then i'll click yes to confirm and it may take a while to bake out all of the animation frames to the timeline uh depending on the complexity and the length of your animation so we'll just let that go for a few minutes if needed all right so the animation has completed uh switching over to or baking over to the timeline and you see that there's a this little eye icon there to know that the the animate block is no longer active and we see all these keyframes now in the timeline tab so now it's ready to transfer to das to blender so i click file send to das to blender and here in this asset type i'm going to switch from skeletal mesh to animation and i'll leave morphs and everything else the same and click accept [Music] all right so the uh the animation is now exported to blender so let's open up blender 3.2 and i'm going to open up the tool shelf and go to the dash to blender tab and click import new genesis figure all right and the animation is now imported and uh down here we have the blender animation playback and i will go ahead and just click the play button and see how that looks all right so the animation's coming in quite nicely but it's a little slow so i'm going to go to the playback menu here and let's instead of playing every frame let's play with frame dropping all right and now we see it in full speed here and that completes this tutorial thank you you
