[Music] hey guys Welcome to our Wednesday session all around looking at happy states of mind I hope that you've been tuning in every single day this week we've had two amazing interviews to kick off the week on Monday and Tuesday if you missed out on Monday we had Matthew Rickard who was talking about his plea for Animals take a look at that it was a really really intriguing and Paradigm shifting conversation that we had on Monday and yesterday we had none other than deep Choo in the studio who was talking about his new book radical Beauty if you missed both of them don't worry they're all recorded live on our Facebook page on HuffPost rise or if you want to find them much quicker you can go to my page as well Jetty IW on Facebook give the pages a like if you want to get a notification every time we're live you're again with me on my own so it's been a while since it's just been us together but I love these sessions this is how we started out where I try and capture a new topic IC a new theme that I think will really Inspire transform Intrigue us but also give you the Practical tips on how to put them into action now maybe some of you saw my new life edits out this week if you haven't I've released a new series of videos called life edits which is tips and tricks for life in 90 seconds a lot of them are based on the themes that I've been tackling with you in my live session to take a look at them again on my Facebook page or you can find them a link on my Instagram which is Shetty J my name backwards come and find me there today we're talking about how to enter happy states of Mind called Flow State maybe some of you have heard of being in flow before maybe people have talked to you about accessing or entering Flow State or maybe you're wondering what the hell are you going to talk about I've never heard of any of that stuff whichever line you're on don't worry we're not going to get too technical I'm just going to be trying my best to articulate what in some senses seems to feel like a very complex subject but actually is something that is truly accessible and relatable when you break it down so we're going to try dissect it together but what I want you to start by answering in the comment section is I want you to write down what motivates you now I don't mean by what motivates you in terms of what gets you up in the morning what helps you do what you do but all of us are motivated by something we're motivated either by fear we're motivated by love we're motivated by making a difference some of us are motivated just because we need to get things done what motivates you right what are your guiding principles think about that write it in the comment section and the second question I want you to answer you can number them one and two is when do you experience deep enjoyment creativity and total involvement when do you completely feel in the zone when do you feel completely connected when do you feel like there's something else that's governing what's happening and you just feel like you're observing you're just totally involved in a process is there ever a time when you feel like that I really feel like that in the these sessions right I have my research I've thought about stuff i' I'm I'm like meditating on stuff the whole week but when I'm with you I just feel completely immersed in this exchange so I want you to think about that first question is what motivates you and the second question is think about something that gives you deep enjoyment or an experience that comes there now I don't want to go in and talk about Everlasting I'm not saying this is eternality happiness what I'm saying is that to experience spaces and stages of bliss to experience ecstasy to experience moments of heightened Consciousness Consciousness that helps us understand that we can actually enter into Sublime rums we can actually enter into Sublime experiences it's not that we're constantly just doing our routine tasks but our routine tasks can actually become more meaningful and purposeful when we get these glimpses when we get these moments or happy states of mind we start realizing that there's something Beyond just doing the day today today I'm talking from a book now this author's name is miay his book is called flow right and it's noted here the psychology of optimal experience important illuminates the way to happiness of the New York Times so this is the book that I'm talking about and talking through you can also watch his Ted Talk which was there in 2004 it's been around for a while but the flow Genome Project has been doing a lot of studies on what it means to enter into flow flow is what we see a lot of people enter into when we see musicians artists swimmers Runners right people who are just completely immersed in the moment where they experience states of flow and I'll explain explain explain well I'll explain what I mean by them now I want you to think about when you feel you have experience flow that's the best way of understanding it it's much harder to articulate but whenever you felt that you're completely immersed completely absorbed you almost feel like something's working through you you feel highly connected and then you feel that time just went so fast even though you were immersed for so long and that there were rapid moments of attention and intention all intertwined together and when you walk out you think wow that was productive wow that was effective wow I didn't even feel hungry wow I didn't even feel tired wow I actually didn't feel any of those things yet we achieve so much we all know the opposite right we we we can all relate to the opposite where we feel tired every day at work we feel hungry every day at work we can't wait for the time to end we're waiting for the weekend we all relate to that but how many of you can remember and try and observe and remember moments in your life where you actually experien the exact opposite well you didn't want to stop where you didn't even think about time where time just didn't exist right just think about it give me an example if you've ever experienced that right I've experienced it sometimes in free writing I experience it when I'm ading for some of my videos that's a very natural space in which it comes across I've seen other people completely get in the zone when they're taking photographs they're so in the moment photography cooks and chefs they experience Flow State as well so I want you to reflect and write in the comment section when you felt that you are in flow I want to ask you this question what percentage of the population do you believe feels happy or feels connected or feels purposeful or meaningful I want you to write a percentage between Z to 100 I want you to write that right now what do you think the population feels double when reading about personal development that's when you feel in the zone me too actually I can relate to that I was reading a great book the other day I'm trying to remember which one it was it it was about a month ago and I missed like my stops by a few right I just completely missed my stops I was so immersed in this book had to go back the other way didn't care that I'd lost time because I was completely immersed great Point Dil thanks for raising that the number this is a US number studies show that 30% of people surveyed in the US since 1956 say their life is very happy now that hasn't changed right 30% not a lot of people right quite a small number of people in one sense quite a lot of people but in one sense we're looking at only a third of the population and as you can see from some of your estimates most of our estimates were much less than that I want you to think about a moment where you felt that you are in flow when you felt completely immersed with intention invention creation all into one zone when you really feel in the zone when you really feel connected when you feel feel driven when you feel that you're moved by purpose and meaning think of that tell me a time we've had cooking we've had music we've had reading we've had teaching when have you felt that we need to create those more consciously in our daily lives so that we can all access them personal income in the same time since 1956 only 30% of people say they're happy in that time income measured against inflation has gone up two to three times right so income's gone up now increases in material well-being don't seem to affect how happy we are in fact you can find that a lack of basic resources or material resources contributes to unhappiness but the increase Beyond a certain basic point of material resources does not increase happiness right so it's not about having stuff we talk about you know how to make a million how to make a billion how to become a millionaire how to become a billionaire the funny thing is is that studies across the board show that those aren't necessarily the things that make us happy now if you're interested in stats the skills talk about thriving when they talk to 250 researchers across 60 institutions when they talked for the number one quality of a CEO the number one value needed when we talk about thriving in the future we're talking about what attributes what characteristics are needed of people to to flow to grow to evolve when they looked at 1,500 Executives in 60 countries guess what the number one thing was creativity being able to to be creative now if you ever been creative we all know that it takes a lot more than having a room that looks like an apple office and having whiteboards and having loads of nice pens that you can color with it requires more than that it requires more than being able to dress in a pair of jeans and a pair of brown shoes right creativity is not about these external things creativity more and more is about being in flow if you want to know how to be in flow today you're in the right place so let's dive into this subject now when do we feel happy in everyday life we talked about that the state of flow or being in the zone is a state of Peak Performance you're in an ecstatic state to such a point that you feel as though you almost don't exist that something higher is working through you I've experienced this time and time again this is a quote now I have experienced this time and time again my hand seems devoid of myself and I have nothing to do with what is happening I just sit there watching it in a state of awe this was from a leading composer and he was talking about how all of us feel most productive and creative when we're in flow and in his Ted Talk in 2004 miay the author of this book flow he actually talks about how our nervous system can only cope with 110 bits of information per second right 110 bits now I'll put that into context for you when you're listening to someone talk like you're listening to me talk right now maybe you're listening to your boss talk maybe you're listening to your friends talk maybe you're listening to your colleagues talk it takes up 60 bits per second right it takes 60 bits per second this is why we can only do 110 bits per second when you listen to one person it takes 60 bits per second if you add 60 and 60 what is that 120 bits per second that's why you can never talk to two people at the same time when was the last time try and think about it when was the last time you tried to make sense and focus on two people trying to talk to at the same time it's so difficult maybe you're doing it right now if you're watching this in your office right it's so so difficult to be able to talk to two people at the same time so he talks about how we're limited but actually when we reach states of flow we overcome that limitation it's when we don't feel hunger we don't feel pain we don't feel tired we don't feel stressed think of a time when you have experienced that I'm going to talk to you about the seven levels of what we usually experience now the way we reach flow is the perfect balance between the challenge of a Tas task and the skill of performance mahay says this in his book that balance between the challenge of the task and the skill of the performer when that balance reaches a heightened point when both of them are at their Peak that's when we reach flow so really we have a lot of other experiences when this balance or when these two things are imbalanced or unbalanced and not reaching that state of flow I'm going to teach you what they are how many of you ever feel apathy right how many of you feel apathy where you just can't be bothered it kind of you kind of just don't feel motivated you kind of feel a bit low you feel a bit dry you feel a bit laidback you just you know it just doesn't it's not quite working it's not quite fitting how many of you ever feel that way so apathy is when you have low Challenge and low skills a lot of us feel that way in our daily life because we do things that are not very challenging and we're not very skillful at think of an example of something that makes you feel apathetic think of a moment in your day in the last 24 hours in the last week where you felt apathetic right it's a time when we have a low Challenge and low skills those things try and keep them to the Daily Norms that we have to do try and keep them to the daily chores we all have to do we don't all have to become the best cleaners the best sweepers Etc if that's not what excit excites us but if you are someone who gets motivated by organizing absolutely fantastic as well Samora how can you keep the flow when you reach it now that's the inter thing about flow that it's moments that we go in and out of it gives us a glimpse and I will talk about that some more stick around if you want to know how you expand or extend flow now apathy another level that we experience a lot is called boredom how many of you feel bored during the day how many of you feel bored doing activities that are happening now boredom is low challenge mediocre skills right the challenge is still low mediocre skills you feel bored because you can just about get through it you you can just about do it it's not really challenging you it's not really pushing you it's not really driving you now a higher stage than that is relaxation right stage three relaxation low challenge High skills how many times have you ever done something which is just a breeze and you've got really high skills and it's not challenging and you're just relaxing that's a great state it's a great state to be in and better than apathy and boredom this is why doing things where we have high skills and starting with low challenges is a great place to start because it helps us feel relaxed it helps us become content with ourselves it helps us develop confidence apathy and boredom are negative emotions but relaxation is extremely positive try create more moments in your life where you have high skills in an area and a low challenge to start off with just to start accessing what that feels like now for Jay how do we get into flow when we are demotivated start with that focus on something you have high skills at but low challenge see motivation is required for high challenges but that's why when you start with something that has a low Challenge and you have high skills in you feel relaxed into something it's a great place to start no I hope that you'll do that M I'm an artist and I feel major apathy at my Joe job yes so how many of you feel that your day job doesn't allow you to access this flow if you're feeling that your day job now it's great that when you can make your Daydream your day job that's a brilliant thing if that happens but when you can't start looking at how your day job is actually enhancing or teaching you things that you can apply in what flow is all about you and I promise you you'll find something someone was writing on social media today that actually they wish that children would be taught and encouraged into what motivates them now I completely agree I'm a big backer of helping people find their element and their purpose and nurturing it and encouraging it but in the interim when we've all got jobs that you may not enjoy that don't let you feel in flow the best way to do it is say okay I'm doing this in my job how can that support what I really do enjoy so if your child is having to learn maths at school but they really love art help them think about how maths can enhance their artwork and it guaranteed it can if they're having to learn English and science but they love art think about how science can actually enhance their art see everything's interconnected everything can motivate and everything can incentivize and accelerate and be a catalyst for great thoughts and connectivity remember creativity is connecting things creativity is not not art in isolation creativity is connecting things that's why some of the best artists in the world would take a walk around the block and collect physical items that they would then use in their art so creativity is just connecting things Steve Jobs said that he said creativity is connecting things he said that when creative people are asked how did you come up with that they almost feel guilty because all they did was look at two things and connect them we need to start thinking more connectedly rather than in a disconnected and isolated manner stop thinking that your job is not connected to your flow start thinking about how it can connect I guarantee it will change your life start thinking about how you can use your flow at work people will start to notice for you you'll feel more confident it's a great place to start do things right third level of relaxation low challenge High skills now a higher level than that is control when you feel in control mid challenge High skills your skills are higher than the challenge you feel in control the way to go to flow from from that position is raise the challenge I always talk about something in my own journey of enhancing and expanding scope sarine how can we prevent negative reactions to negative situations by finding these states where we're in a mid Challenge and high skills it's a great place to start brilliant to see all your commenting Mani great to see you here Nicole one of the greatest challenges is to flow is how people interact these days totally therefore make it about you don't worry about what people are doing around you make it about you Emily I never hit flow at my day job don't worry think about how you can apply what you do in flow at your day job think about how it excites going higher than that we have the state of worry we have a mid Challenge and low skills if we're doing that too often that's when we start to feel really nervous we got to change that situation up now we don't need to change the mid challenge we can try and raise our skills or lower that challenge but worry if it's a mid Challenge and low skills and it's an area that's not your flow that you're not excited by that's going to be challenging move away from those situations anxiety is when you have something very challenging and low skills again we need to move away from those situations if they aren't things you're motivated to improve your skills in now arousal arousal is high challenge mediocre skills you improve your skills you start feeling flow flow is when you have high challenge High skills so place to start think about what you have high skills in already remember the rule of 100 maybe you did this in a session I did a couple of weeks ago or a bit longer than that where I asked you if you were given a 100 hours to work on what you are great at what you're average at and what you're rubbish at or terrible at how would you split that 100 hours I want you to do it again if you didn't do it with me already try it now if I gave you 100 hours of self-development personal development and you had to split those hours between what you're great at what you're average at and what you're really not that good at how would you spit that give me give me 10 80 10 give me 80 10 10 give me 30 40 30 whatever it is split that 100 up and write three numbers what you're great at what you're average at and what you're not so good at flow feel the lack of weakness this is what I guess yeah when you're in flow you'll notice that stress doesn't bother you as much you may feel stress it's not that flow is removed from stress but you don't feel it you don't you don't let it overcome you you can be in one of the most difficult situations ever but you're in flow when I was interviewing Deepak Cho yesterday a lot of you I mean there was so much love for Deb CH yesterday so many questions about him so many questions for him same last week with ret Swami same with Matthew Rickard and I'm interviewing people that I really look up to that that have really great ideas that have really great wisdom and I'm trying to connect so I can share with you those are heightened levels but it's a high Challenge and I'm trying to focus on developing and learning new skills so that I can also meet that challenge and that's where we start so we got 50401 from Deep 10350 no F 50 40 10 Lorraine 1010 80 asme 104050 right how would you invest that time now the amazing thing is and I'm going to give you the reveal the people that are Peak performers the people that are successful the people that grow their split is 8811 or 100 Z if you work on what you're already great at you'll be phenomenal at it you'll stand out you'll grow you'll evolve you'll Inspire each other other people if you work on what you're not good at you'll only ever be average or good you'll never be phenomenal unless it's something you really want to learn and you're just investing in it recognize that that is the place to start so start working the first thing I'm going to say how to reach your flow find out what you already naturally comes to you find out what already works for you find out what you already feel excited by and motivated by and invest in it do courses on it grow on it learn it teach it right when you have to teach something I guarantee you you'll become better at it people often feel I've got to be an expert before I teach start teaching as soon as you learn don't claim to be an expert don't put yourself out there as an expert or an expert coach start sharing what you're learning share on social media make a video for it share it with a group of people start a book club whatever it is when you're learning start sharing and teaching because someone's going to ask you a question and you're not going to know the answer you teach and that's going to force you to go back out there and read as much as you can to answer that question that's the power of teaching when you don't teach you're happy with the amount you know when you teach you expose yourself to the idea of not knowing when you expose yourself to the idea of not knowing you then give yourselves the opportunity to try and find that idea think about what you're already good at inves in it Grow from it teach it start teaching don't claim to be an expert don't claim to be a coach but start teaching start sharing it exposes how much you know when someone asks a question you'll say I don't know but I'm going to find out for you you're going to read like 10 books that weekend come back and share it again and be excited then someone's going to ask you 10 questions you're going to go back read a hundred books that weekend come back with it share it again arette I'm currently building towards medical school and the journey has been nothing short of difficult any advice on how to stay motivated what's Difficult about it is it the amount of work is it that you don't find it interesting tell me onette what is it that is difficult right always get to the root of the cause don't label situations as difficult because there's something about it and that's the thing if we don't observe closely enough we don't know what to solve this is the key so arousal and control control is mid challenge High skills arousal is high challenge mediocre skills these are the both the points for flow right these are both access points to flow control allows you to access flow if you raise the challenge now scope is important the amazing thing is I had a friend visit last week I've had a few friends been visiting the studio I've been showing them around and when one of my first videos went out if you've seen some of my videos when they first went out one of my friends commented he said I remember you talking about this 10 years ago at University and the funny thing is that a lot of the things that I talk about in my videos are things that I've been thinking about for a number of years I was talking about them 10 years ago I remember speaking on the same subject matter at a university lecture speaking to about 30 students not claiming to be an expert but just sharing what I had learned just to 30 students now I'm getting this wonderful opportunity to share it with all of you but what I've always trying to do and what I'm always trying to grow and learn and evolve is that we have to enhance the scope and enhance the challenge I remember speaking to an empty room which I expected to be full of University students I remember speaking to a room of 30 University students I remember speaking to a group of 300 Corporate Executives and now I'm speaking to all of you and the point is that we constantly have to enhance the challenge that's what helps us reach flow when we enhance the challenge if you stay stagnant on a challenge and you just raise your skills you'll just start feeling in control that's when the ego starts to grow it's when you start to feel complacent it's when you start to feel in control you feel like you've got it all mastered and you don't allow yourself to grow and evolve anymore you've made yourself stagnant you've stopped your growth you've stunted your growth that happens when we have high skills mediocre challenge you feel egotistic you feel like the guru you feel like you're in charge you know exactly what to do pull the push the right buttons make things manipulate them we want to move away from that we want to remove ego flow is about removing ego when something greater can connect and work through you when you realize that there's so much more than just what you can control when you're focusing on your own control you'll rarely reach anything brilliant find that challenge raise your skills now we talked about the rule of 100 I can't stress that enough do not waste your time investing in what is not your focus right and intention is a big part of this now a very important part that I'd like to make a very important comment about flow state is that it's more about the task the activity and the process than it is about the result see when we want to be creative to experience creativity and let creativity flow with us that's when we're creative we're not creative when we sit down on a table and say let's brainstorm guys there five of us here we're going to come up with the next big idea when has that ever happen right when has anyone creative come up with the next big idea when they said let's sit down with five people around this table let's put a nice whiteboard up let's get some nice color pens as I said before you know let's make sure we're all wearing casual clothes and we're going to come up with the next big idea that's not when creativity Peaks creativity does not stem from that brainstorm style creativity is coming from when we're excited by allowing Flow State to be there to be in that creative process so we're not excited by knowing we're going to come up with a result we're not using Flow State as a way to come up with the result we're using Flow State because we know it allows us to focus Our intention and attention exclusively on something that we're going to experience this is very like this actually quite difficult for us today we rarely experience anything in full we experience glimpses of things today we walk in and out we dip in and out how many of you have a WhatsApp group that you can't keep up with or a slack group that you can't keep up with you just dip in and out how many of you have a TV program you walk in and out some of you just said you just walked into this conversation half where you wasn't sure what it was about this interconnected World allows for us to be interconnected but also disconnected we're so connected in random moments random points that we never fully experience something that's why flow is so rare to us that's why flow is sometimes so Random to us and that's why we need to focus on the task and not the result we need to find processes that we enjoy I'll give you an example when I'm researching to do these sessions when I'm reading I love the process of reading finding new answers for all of you finding practical tips to make things relevant so I just dive into that I don't know what it's going to look like when I talk about it I don't know how it's going to come across but I'm excited by that process and that allows me to be in flow it allows time to pass it allows me to be excited about it every day allows me to be motivated every day start getting connected to the task the process that's what we need to think about Cheryl barar is it when you're doing your passion it is when you're doing your passion but when you've observed the key elements of being in that passion I'll give you an example how many of you ever put headphones on while you work but don't listen to music it's because that helps you be in your element I know that I've certain instrumentals that I like to listen to when I'm trying to be creative they allow me to be more creative now I have to listen to instrumentals I can't listen to music with words right with lyrics because that's what allows me it's when we observe and that's why observe constantly daily when you feel in the zone when you feel in the flow recreate it practice it nurture it grow it invest in that and you'll learn and learn and learn experiment with it explore with it and you will continue to learn the reason why I'm so excited about Flow State and you reaching your flow state is because it allows us to start feeling confident appreciating ourselves and appreciating others and feeling new levels of excitement new levels of Joy through very simple things you could be doing the same thing again and again and again but still feel motivated by it because it puts you into flow right because it puts you into flow now another way of getting into flow is finding a internal dialogue or music to go with what you're doing so I spoke about the music aspect but it's also a dialogue and one of you asked earlier what is the way of making flow last so we've talked about moments of flow when you get in the zone while you're running when you're singing when you're playing an instrument when you're walking in nature how do you make that last flow is ultimately underpinned by guiding principles by a massive transformational Purpose By meaning and purpose by having underlying principles that we live by that allow us to tap into float daily now I was speaking to someone the other day they were saying to me that they find traveling quite hard they like being rooted to a place and and they were saying that I'm very different from them they're saying Jay you're very different from me because you don't mind traveling and I said well you are rooted to places I'm rooted to purpose so I like being rooted to it's just that I like being rooted to purpose which is not defined by geography but you like being rooted by place which is defined by geography but rooting is very natural for all of us all of us are rooted to something and when we change that something to purpose and meaning that allows us to live much more flexible abundant powerful empowered lives because that purpose is not b found by people place project people's attitudes the hypnosis of social conversation as deep was talking about yesterday right your purpose and meaning when it's not bounded by the hypnosis of social norms by places projects people's opinions by people's attitudes that's when you can access flow all the time so we we're all rooted we either rooted to having a group of people that make us feel more confident or thing but we have to look for confidence love passion purpose in in our purpose in finding meaning so I really recommend to you to do is I started off this dialogue by asking you what motivates you that's really what it's about what really motivates you why do you do what you do we had Simon cynic on the show about a month ago maybe a bit before that and we're talking about why the power of finding why you do something so what motivates you why are you doing anything you're doing all those answers you gave at the start start finding in your love your meaning your confidence in that purpose be rooted by that purpose and then you can access that all throughout the day wherever you are in the world you can access that you can grow from that what if you have no interest and feel like you're just stuck I have no creativity and get bored easily don't know what to spend my time on when I read I feel like I want to sleep right so that's very common her butt don't worry about that that's absolutely okay my first thing is look for some online courses try them out straight away go to a group activity that some of your friends are involved in that's another great place to start a good question to ask yourself is what did you enjoy when you were younger maybe there was an activity that you did when you were younger that you can reconnect with again AL Alex right that's a great place to start Alex are you in flow right now I definitely feel in flow when I'm doing these sessions so I hope that you're connecting with that as well so whenever you feel like you don't know the answer the thing is we've got Google Now like we live in an age where you've got access to find out anything about everything in the world you can find somethingone that motivates you if you really want to that's something I can't change that's something no one can change if you don't want to take the initiative to motivate yourself no one else can change that for you that's the step you need to take but then everyone there is able to help everyone there is there to make a difference Puja I love these ideas so many things you talk about that I connect with and use for self-reflection I'm going towards a career change to work in social welfare something that I always wanted to do this is in an industry that have no background in although my skills are low medium challenges High irrespective my motivation is high since it feels like this work will help me get closer that is awesome I was hosting a book launch the other day and it was with this lady named Leo pelman she's the founder of the Facebook like button press the like button right now she was one of the main team members that found this button and she writes books now she's turned into art she run something called Dharma comics where she writes and makes uh wisdom art and she made this switch from technology at Facebook to becoming a art artist and a comic designer she had no art skills she had no comic skills she had none of that creative skills but she switched over because she realized that was her purpose and she was talking about how that was making her much happier so even if your skills are lower at one point that means you're in the arousal stage right the arousal stage high challenge mediocre skills if your motivation is high you can raise your skills and notice that if you're motivated and can work on something and practice and train you can do that I've talked previously about one of my most embarrassing moments when I first started public speaking I was one of the shiest most nervous people on stage I could I just couldn't do it right but it was through lots of training lots of great teachers lots of great insights lots of great mentors that made it possible remember we've talked today about this book called Flow by miay it's an amazing book if you don't like reading what's the Ted Talk from 2004 TED Talks are just 12 to 18 minutes long right what a great way to dive into wisdom I've shared some of the points of the TED Talk today think about what motivates you remind yourself that happiness is going to come from being connected to your purpose being connected to meaning like artists scientists what they explore and explain right we can only use a certain amount of our immune nervous system but we can tap into more we want to move from apathy and boredom and relaxation and control and worry and anxiety to arousal relaxation is a powerful place to start when you have low challenge High skills think about finding a challenge find your passion think about that rule of 100 if I can leave you with one thing today think about your rule of 100 figure out three ways to invest in what you're great at find an online course find a mentor and start working daily on that I promise you it will change your life if you invest go all in focus in on that topic focus in on what's working for you that will be extremely powerful right how to find flow in your daily work apply what that great activity is that you love into your daily work I'll give an example when I was working in the corporate world which is mainly around project management numbers Consulting ideas I love presenting so I started presenting more at work I started focusing on that school I love sharing ideas I love motivating people I love moving people I love that process of researching I started doing that more in work forget finding your flow in work I brought my flow to work right that's what you need to do if you can't find your flow in work bring flow to work the other way to do it is if you're not if you should be able to in include your skills they'll be powerful for your workplace whatever you do start engaging them there the other thing is start thinking what is this teaching me about my flow so I realized at work I was learning how to understand presenting much better I was understanding how to present to differen Siz audiences it was allowing me to learn so much more things that I could then apply to my flow guys it's been fantastic talking to you today I hope that you're all going to use this time to access and enter into your Flow State experience what it feels like keep recreating experiences even if you don't feel quite there keep recreating the experience it will totally connect it will totally happen I promise you press the like and love button if you enjoyed today's
