How to Draw The Flash

hi there wendy here from draw so cute in this video we're going to draw flash so let's get started with flash we're going to first start by drawing his eyes so right here i'm going to draw a curve from there i'm going to go directly to the other side so i'm just going to come over here give myself a point so about this wide and i'm going to draw another curve so exact same thing and from there i'm going to finish off the eye on this side so i'm going to go up at a slight angle and then i'm going to bring it down a little bit right here just a little angle and then connect it [Music] so same thing on this side i'm just going to go up at an angle [Music] so i'm just going to come over just kind of measure a little bit so i know about how high go up right there and bring it down and connect it come back in here fix this a little bit okay so you have the two eyes in so then from there we're going to come out right here and just add a little curve [Music] squares i give it some detail make it look a little bit more realistic and then from there we're going to come to the side right here just give it a little bit of room and we're going to start to draw the outside of his face so let's come to the other side about right here and we're basically going to draw a curve so i'm going to come down to the center uh about this low about right here and i'm going to just give this point is just going to give me a little gauge as to where my center is so that when i draw my curve i know where to start to go up so i'm just going to try to aim for that area and so then from there i can start to go up bring this down a little bit more and then go up [Music] so there you got that nice long the u the bottom of a u for his face and then let's go up straight to the top now nice and high up about right here and i'm going to finish off the top of his head so i'm just going to bring my curve all the way up so notice it's not exactly just a very round curve there's some slight angles to it before you hit the curve so don't make it too round down so notice i'm going to angle it slightly down another slight angle and then connect it so then from there let's start to draw the his mouth the mask area right here with his nose and his mouth so i'm going to come to the center about right here between the eyes just give myself a little mark right in the center and from there i'm going to bring it down [Music] on both sides so i'm just going to aim make sure it's about the same that and then i'm going to bring it up [Music] okay so then from there i'm going to come down to the center right here and going to draw a curve so this is like that his chin area right here and from there i'm just going to go ahead and connect it following my outside line so same thing on this side there so finally now we can put his little mouth so i'm going to come in this area right here i'm just going to give him a mischievous merc smile for flash okay and then there's details right here on his mask you can come up right here about right here i'm just going to draw a curve that comes down this is kind of like that lightning bolt and go up so same thing on this side it's about right here i'm going to curve [Music] there go up and come back down [Music] so now that we have his head drawn we're going to come over here to the side to draw some of the details on the side of his mask so right here i'm going to basically just draw a curve that comes down so let's do the same thing on the other side just come over so it's about the same so it's kind of like drawing an ear come in and then from there i'm going to draw that lightning bolt detail so i'm just going to draw an angle line go up like a zigzag come down and connect it so same thing on this side so it's basically an angle down and then from there we're going to go zig zag it [Music] and connect okay so now to draw his body in action okay so we're gonna come up a little bit up higher here over his um face right here above his chin and right here i'm going to draw a curve and so this side is going to also be a curve but it's going to be slightly higher because this hand is in back more so you're basically drawing a curve that slants up okay so then from there i'm going to come down about in this area right here imagine that his armpits are going to be about right here so i'm giving myself two of these points and from there let's draw his body his torso first just to make it easier so it's a little bit more complicated because his hands and his he's in action so i'm going to go really slow step by step so from there we're going to bring this arm down and we're going to follow it right here with his armpits so let's draw this hand first since it's in the foreground it's in the front so i'm going to keep going and it's going to come around so i'm going to start to bend it and from right there i'm going to bend it even more come in and let's draw his hand so he's putting his hands in together so i'm going to come in here for a thumb and for his fingers just connect it okay so then from there we're gonna cut it off about right here for his um glove area and some details in his hands just draw two lines for his hands fingers i mean okay so then from there we're going to draw this hand now we're going to go up right here with this curve and from here we're going to bring it down [Music] and bring it down and right here we're going to aim down and this hand is going to be smaller because it's back so i'm going to come down about right here thumb area and we'll continue this for his fingers and come down and back up [Music] and then right here same thing we're just going to cut it off for his glove there we go [Music] okay so we basically have his two hands in now we can start to draw some of the details in here so we're going to come about right here where his armpits are and we're going to draw a curved line just some details in his suit so on this side i'm and curve it on here and let's draw some lines right here for some details and so this one would be going this way and let's see here so the most important detail is this logo on his um suit so right here in the center i'm going to draw a circle [Music] my wobbly circle okay so then from there i'm going to come in here and draw two angle lines right in the center and come in here and draw another smaller circle for the inside [Music] okay and then let's draw that lightning bolt inside so i'm just going to draw about right here i'm going to angle it out and come back in so go in there and erase that so it's basically one two three zigzags and the same thing here one two and connect it so just zigzag zigzag on both sides and connect it okay finally now let's draw some details right here kind of for his chest curve that comes in and continuing it and going up and let's bring a straight line down in center and let's see here continue his torso okay so then from there let's start on his belt so it's nicely in the center we're going to basically draw two angles lines for his buckle [Music] so this is kind of this shape right here in the center and then right here he has this detail it's also a lightning bolt so we're just going to come in here and draw it's a shorter one so same thing on this side and now we can connect it for his belt so bring this down a little bit more and connect everything [Music] okay so then from there we're going to come straight down once again and right here we're going to draw an angle line and from there we're going to bring this curve down and right here imagine this going through we're just going to draw basically a loop so his because he's bending his knee so we're going to just connect it right here connect it and then right here we're going to bring out his other leg so this one's out front so come right in here and we're going to draw a curved line out and keep bringing it out for his leg all the way down so then about right here we're gonna cap it off with his boot and keep continuing this line down same thing here keep going and now to draw his foot so we're going to come out here and basically just draw a curve [Music] for his foot angle a little bit more if you want okay so then from there from this foot we're going to have a draw a little foot but it's going to be smaller so we're just going to tuck a little foot right in the back [Music] and connect it okay so then now for some more details and right here just draw a little curve to continue his suit and let's see here for this thigh right here we're going to draw some of the detail so it's another lightning so then right about here in his knee area you can draw some details so it's just a curve just draw some of this kind of like a knee pad area just three of them [Music] and let's see here let's add another lightning bolt that comes down here so about right here [Music] like that so that's pretty much it for this drastic cute flash i know it's a little
