Draw Minion | How To Draw A Minion

what's up everyone and welcome to the club in today's video I'll be showing you how to draw a minion now for today's lesson we're going to start by drawing in the eyes and then work our way out towards the body so let's start at the top of our page and draw two circles and start on the top left I'm just going to work our way down towards the bottom of that Circle and then just pull that back up towards the top now we're going to leave a small Gap in between the eyes and draw the same thing on the right so line up the top of that Circle it's going to come in round up the eye and pull it back up towards the top now you want to pull the pupils towards the inside of the eye so let's start on the left draw a smaller Circle going all the way around and then up and then again we're just going to line at the top all the way around and back up let's add a small highlight circle on the top left side it's going around and then out and it'll draw a small circle in the center of the iris for the pupil going in behind the highlight let's fill the pupils in Black let's Trace each of the eyes along the outside for the frame but we'll connect that along the top and the bottom so we start right in the middle with a point let's Trace out the left side we're gonna go up around the side bring this down towards the bottom and back in towards the middle Trace out the right eye up stand around towards the bottom and I'll pull that back up in the middle now that we've drawn the eyes let's add in the strap we're going to start on the left side start with a straight line going out and I'll line this up on the right that same length line and come down the side of the strap and pull that back in towards the side of the goggles a small buck along the outside I'm going to step out straight line coming down and we'll split this area in half with a horizontal line now I'm going to move down and draw on the mouth let's start underneath the left eye put the mouth coming down and across go back to the left side and add a bracket on the corner of the mouth now with the eyes and mouth in place let's move up and draw the top of the head for the top corner of the strap we're going to step in curl the head going up around at the top of the head go across and then back down on the right and a lot of the side of the head underneath the strap on the left I'm just going to angle this down and out the same thing on the right side now we want to round out the bottom of the body we start back on the left and curve down and bend that in towards the middle work our way across and then up on the right side now before we get into the arms and the legs let's add some detail to the body we start with those two straps and start on the left side of the head and angle down and then in line at the top on the right and same thing let's flatten off the inside of the strap with a short angled line and it'll follow that line going back up and out toward the side of the body it's not a small circle on the inside of the button now place the overalls in behind the strap and start on the left side at the very top put a straight line going across let's go back to the left side underneath the strap straight down same thing on the right now around at the bottom and pull that straight out towards the side now we're going to add the top of the pocket and step up straight line coming in line this up on the right and then we'll add our pocket in the center of the body straight across the top and it'll connect the ends with a half circle let's go back down to the bottom and add in the legs starting right in the middle we'll split the legs in half with a straight line from the bottom we're going to curl the foot coming down and up toward the left and the right side and then going back to the left side we're going to round up the top of the foot I'm going to go up down and then from here we're just going to curl that back up towards the inside of the leg right in the middle now from the top of the foot we're going to angle the leg going up and out underneath the body now with the legs in place let's move back up and draw on the arms we're going to start on the left side currently I'm going out and then down towards the wrist line this up on the right and then we'll curl around the thumb from the wrist and draw a half circle coming in and then out close off the end with a bracket and now we're going to curl two large fingers on on the side starting from the bottom of the thumb curve down and up around that bracket step down go down up I'm just going to pull that in towards the outside of the wrist let's go back to the left side we'll draw the cuff going straight up top and we'll pull the edge of the glove coming in and then down on the inside of the arm and finally we're going to close out the top of the arm from the left side I'm going to step in follow that same curve in the Army going up and in towards the side of the body and line this up on
