How To Draw A Football Player

hey friends here we're going to draw football player yeah we hope you're gonna follow along with us we're going to draw a cartoon football player it's gonna be a lot of fun and it's also going to be nice and simple you need something to draw with and also some paper and some colorways something to color with now we're going to use markers to draw with but you could use whatever you have at home or in your classroom you ready to start yeah we're first going to draw our football player's eyes I'm gonna draw a circle right here and also leave a little space you could probably draw it right about here and then I'm going to leave a little space and then draw another Circle the same size well yeah this is gonna be a big football player there you go all right now we can draw a smaller circle inside of each eye this is for the Highlight make eyes look shiny and then let's color in the big circle and leave the little circle white now let's draw his mouth I'm just gonna draw a straight line in between his two eyes that's because he's serious all right now we're gonna draw the face mask to our helmet we're going to draw a curve starts under the eye well to the side of the eye we're going to come down like this and then we're going to come back up on the other side now anytime we fast forward the video or if we go too fast you can always pause the video take extra time to finish a step now let's draw that same line right below it so I'm going to match that same exact line but just a little lower come back up on the other side now we can connect these two lines together one on the left and also over here on the right and it's okay that our two drawings look a little different right yeah they both are turning now awesome and if your drawings look a little different too that's okay because the most important thing is to have fun have fun and to practice practice all right now let's draw One More Bar below this first bar we drew so we're just going to repeat the same steps draw another curve underneath and another one underneath that one I love football I used to play football when I was in high school it was a lot of fun all right now we're gonna curve the left side and also curve the right side over here okay now let's draw the two bars coming down so we'll draw two lines we're gonna connect the top one to the bottom one and we're gonna draw two lines over here for the bar on the right side all right now let's draw the helmet we're going to start on the left side of the eye and we're going to draw a line that comes up and we're going to start over here on the right side and come up also yeah and then another one over here on this side her helmet's turning it out perfect then we're going to connect these two lines with a curve that comes down and then back up and touch on the other side now we're going to imagine that line coming down behind this first bar and connect down to the bottom bar yeah and then let's repeat that same step over here we'll just imagine it going behind coming out the bottom now let's draw the top of our Helmet or the outside shape we're going to start here on the bottom bar and we're going to draw a big upside down U we're going to go up it's a huge helmet and then we're going to come back down on the other side oh it looks so cool yeah keep going there you go and well no you did it good job buddy now we're gonna add details to our helmet let's draw two short lines coming up right here on the center and then we'll connect those two lines together and then let's draw two dots one on the left and also on the right we could also add a stripe going down our helmet let's draw a line coming down the middle of our helmet and we'll draw another one next to it oh it looks so cool now let's draw his body we're gonna draw a line coming down from his helmet over here and also coming down over here all right now let's turn this into a rectangle shape we're going to draw a line to connect those two lines together now let's add his waist we're going to draw a line right here kind of towards the bottom of the rectangle and then we can split his legs draw a line down the middle then let's add his shoes we're just going to draw a line towards the bottom yeah and then actually let's color in that bottom shape for shoes then we can also add cleats to the bottom of his shoes let's draw three little spikes on the left and also on the right now let's draw the bottom of his football pants draw another line that goes all the way across both legs then we can also draw the chin strap I'm going to draw a little u-shape comes down back up right underneath his face mask we could also add let's draw two little lines for the texture on his chin strap what should we draw next on our football player a football oh yeah let's draw him holding a football and let's draw half of it showing and the other half behind his body so I'm going to start here and I'm going to draw a curve coming down yeah and then right at the end we want to make sure there's a little point and then we're going to draw the other half sticking out we're coming down below okay now let's draw the stripe on our football we'll draw two lines down hopefully you have room yeah just squeeze it in there good job now let's draw his shoulder pads and then we're gonna draw his arms so we'll start over here and we're going to draw a curve that comes down and then connects in and I'm going to do the same thing over here on the right side curves down and connects in now let's draw his arm coming down from the shoulder pad and hanging on to the ball and then we'll draw another arm over here and then curve into his body let's also give him gloves maybe he's the receiver or the fullback running back Austin we did it we finished drawing our football players they look really cool except they're gonna look even better once we do what color yeah we need to color our drawings this part we're gonna fast forward but at the end you guys can pause the video to match the same coloring you ready to fast forward yeah I said give me five I love how your football player turned out he looks so much better all colored in now you guys can pause the video to match the same coloring but the cool thing about this lesson is you can actually color your football players any way you want you could change the colors so that it matches your favorite team you could also change the numbers to be your favorite player we hope you have a lot of enjoying your football player yeah we do we hope you had a lot of fun and you could also add more things to your drawing like a background you could draw the football field underneath them and also yeah other players you could also draw the goal posts behind them with the other players maybe one flying through the goal posts we'll see you later our friends goodbye
