How To Download Microsoft Powerpoint - Full Guide

guide there are two different things I'm showing you in this video firstly I'll show you how you can get Microsoft PowerPoint for free and then I'll show you how you can go and download Microsoft PowerPoint but to download it you're gonna need a subscription but don't worry I'm going to show you how to do everything and you may already have a subscription as well but I'm going to explain it all the first thing you need to do is go and open up a web browser personally I'm using Google Chrome then what you'll need to do is go to a search engine personally I'm using Google but you can use any then what you need to do is go and search for something called Microsoft 365 so type that in just like so and then 365 awesomeness Microsoft Office they're basically the same thing then what you need to do is make sure you go to office.com as you can see this top result here go and tap on it it's going to go and take a moment to load once you're on the website the next thing you need to do is either go and sign into a registered account if you have one or if you don't have one or need to go and create great one but it's very similar process all you'll need to do is go and tap and sign it in the bottom left or sign in in the top right and that's going to go and take you to a page where you can sign in but also go and create an account as you can see we can go and enter our email phone or Skype to sign in or if you don't have an account then we can go and tap on create one in this case I'm just going to go and sign in once you've gone and signed in or create your account you'll then be taken to this page here it says welcome to Microsoft 365. so as you can see we can go and create all these different documents so if you didn't know Microsoft basically allow you to go and access some of their apps for free online which is really cool so we can go and create a document or a presentation which of course which weird one so you can go into that presentation here or go to the top left and tap in the app launcher and then you can go and tap on PowerPoint a new tab will open and it's going to take you to PowerPoint you can use a template or go and create a blank presentation and then it's going to load and you can go and access majority of the same sort of features as you can on the downloaded version of PowerPoint but I know some people would rather download Powerpoints and let's go and do that now so to go and download it the first thing you need to do is buy And subscribe to Microsoft 365 now some people are already going to have an account with this sort of a Microsoft 365 subscription if you go to school or work some places are going to have that already so make sure you go and sign into that same rights with account and then go over to the right hand side and if you don't have Microsoft 365 like me you're going to have the option to buy it and if you already have it then this button isn't going to exist it's just going to say install apps so if you don't have the Microsoft 365 option here then just tap install apps however if you or if you do have the button then we need to go and tap on it then what you'll need to do is go and choose a subscription in this case I'd go for a personal one because it's just for me and I could have a monthly subscription or a yearly and then I can scroll down and go into that one buy now like so I need to go and sign into my account again like this then what I'll need to do is go and add a way to go and pay so I'll press next and I think you can use credit card PayPal or a mobile phone and a debit card as well so choose your method and go and pay if you just went and subscribed after pair you'll be taken to a page that says get started with Microsoft 365. so what you'll need to do is scroll down and go and tap on download desktop apps at the bottom you could get a mobile app if you want but I'm just getting the desktop ones click there then you'll get taken to a page which says install office on all your computers so what you'll need to do is press on the install office button and then you're going to go and get this pop-up here and you'll need to go and sort of choose a language and a version honestly it's pretty much up to you there's only a few versions to choose from I just chose a default version so tap install and it's going to go and download and then make sure you go and find the office setup file in your downloads file Oda and once you found it then what you'll need to do is go and double tap on it then you'll go and get a pop-up and it'll say Microsoft and we're getting things ready then after that you'll see your page that says please stay online while Office downloads and I'll say we've done it in just a moment and as you can see it's downloading all these apps on the right hand side Microsoft Excel PowerPoint Outlook all these apps are included in your subscription which is fantastic so all you need to do is wait after it's finished you can then go and search for the app so tap on search at the bottom and then you can type in PowerPoint you can go and tap on it and go and open it up or it may be on your desktop as well
