How to cut down a leaning tree, 🚧 DISCLAIMER,, BACK CUT FIRST .

all right we've got uh pulling into rotten ronnie's here but we're going in the bottom side friends there's where i fell on trees the other day [Applause] [Music] which is just at the crest of this hill on the right he goes down into the bottom of his property there and uh yeah it's right up in here you'll see we're gonna we're gonna right in there yeah yeah we gotta watch we're gonna do a uh oh no actually looks good i just wanna make sure we got no uh let's hit the e-brake board here we got our rigging you got to watch for nails in that eh see this has been laying here for quite some time rotten ronnie's and here's it's actually quite a nice little dip we can dip in here quite nice and i actually there's a couple of small trees that are a hindrance for me getting in and it's one of those this isn't bad there's only a couple little trees i gotta tip over and then i'll have access to them big trees we got some good cotton to be doing in there so we're gonna back in here i didn't bring my tripod today because we're just gonna get we're just doing like a surveyed kind of dry run here friends you know what i mean by that we're just getting in here getting oh my indicators on so this is what we're doing all right so friends when you're trying to get in somewheres drop your tailgate right just drop your tailgate it's so much easier you can actually see right back in there if you got a truck just drop your gate it's so much easier like we got i can't wait to get my side view mirrors on this truck too here let's assess what's going down here friends come on look at the timber in here it is really nice friends look at i brought some axes actually as a matter of fact steven guin i brought your axe today buddy yeah so let's turn you around okay i mean i guess i could put maybe a little teeny bit of let's see if i keep this level like this let's see what happens if i keep that level that's actually good there we're going for it actually i'll grab my axe two wedges all right friends i've got the camera there i don't have my tripod today i got my camera there watching the cutting right there and i've got you guys this camera going up here to see to watch crown i'd like you guys to watch the crown up there which is right there so if i go down like this i got to do this kind of strategically you you guys need to see the crown of that thing so i'm i'm guessing i'm lit and a special [Music] okay friends watch listen to the saw i just did the cut you saw me do the cut watch the top of the tree watch the crown step back there it goes did you see that okay friends i'm gonna pan up to the crown now and we'll just go through that little sequence with the bangs and watch the crown watch what happens here okay so let's just go through the cut again and we'll just watch it so this is the very start this is me cutting right now and you'll notice it'll sit back a little bit and i'll pull the bar out and you'll watch the whole process so just watch what goes down here all right it settles back down i believe you'll notice there it is right there here the knocks see the timing on the bangs there we go see stop for a sec i take a look up see what's going down and then we give them a couple more cracks to get this sucker set hard before the undercut goes in okay i want you guys to let me know about this little voice over thing i need to know in the comments whether this is helpful or you just want me out of here either way i'm just brushing the bark off you cannot be too careful about this you nip one little bit too much fiber on this and guess what it's over it's over it's over your shoulder on top of the high boy or something terrible on top of a house or a fence so i just put my undercut and i'm i'm looking like i can see what i got on my side but the other side is the problem you don't know so you've got to look you peek take a look okay what have i got there well make sure we got a little bit more room there we'll take a touch more pull out and go up for the humboldt pop that humbles out of there give her a little shake make sure that a lot of guys can can mess up there they can go bypass and that's where they nip their corners and it goes over their shoulder so i'm just taking a look everything looks good looks good a nice undercut nice piece of hinge all the way across the the stump so i'll just do a touch a little bit of clean up here and we'll pick up that that i'll check my other side just you you cannot be too certain friends on on stuff like this okay so we'll pop that powershot down it's cut up it it's over it's actually cut up i've made the stump it's all about banging you hear that dog running behind me with their little things there and little toes scampering across the floor so here i go i'm cracking this now this is a i'm going to show you this process after okay so we're we're pretty set here now this is this is hammered in pretty good it's still not going we need to double up i've got that wedge pretty much sunk that little guy and it's not going anywhere so i think to myself is one gonna do no it's not to do i'm going back to double up to make sure that we get left because what would happen is if i just took care of that put that one is i know what would happen i would bottom out and it would be over i'd be like oh no and i got a mess now i gotta double up so here we go i find my spot for for doubling up i set the sucker up pop it in there and away we go and the process is done uh time your bangs friends you know like this show's over so i'll let you guys finish up on this and uh i want to know what you guys think about this voiceover thing when i'm doing stuff like this [Applause] okay friends so this is pretty much the banging so i just shut this off here now just finished up the undercut we're putting the power sod down and we're gonna work with that single wedge that we've put in here see here we go you see we're just getting you know we're that's that that's that one wedge friends okay that's that one wedge look at that look at that one wedge okay then we're maxed out now we gotta double up you guys know what happens from here okay time for our next wedge see now we could double up actually which would be smart i thought it might go sooner but it just goes to show you that that lent that that lean is more than we thought right here watch how easy this goes now that's probably it there it goes that's it yep so there's our phones guys right well somebody else is cutting something over there so there's our tree right there beautiful there's our stump that cut first hey there she be so you see how deep i went on the back cut it was pinching the bar you if you were watching the crown you would have seen it it sat back but that's just because i chose oh root rot a little bit that's just because i chose not to sink a wedge in behind my bar because i've done 5 000 of them i just didn't because what you can do is you cut your back head and stick the wedge in i had all kinds of room for a wedge i just chose to just pull out and then sink i don't mind it sit back a little it's fine now i can cut that stump down and we go in there now back cut first check this out watch it lean back friends i reckon we moved this tree probably eight feet now we double up right here watch how easy this goes now that's probably it it's more than
