How to create zoom through text intro in VSDC Video Editor

Hello everyone! Today our task is to make a cool intro for your videos It will be a text zoom within a mask. Let’s go! First of all, let's add a video In our case we'll cut its duration to 3 seconds Make a double click on a video layer and add a text Let it be “India” to make it match the footage In this case the bold font will be the best solution Color it black and make sure to align it with the center of the scene Click the "Set the object size automatically based on inserted text" in order to adapt the text size Now let’s convert the text into a sprite Make a right-click on the text layer and select the "Convert to Sprite" option It’s time to customize the sprite First of all, click the "Set the same size as the parent has" button in order to set the working area with the respect to the video, but NOT to the text Next, select "NO" in "Use as container" In the "Show effects" field also select "Yes" and disable the background choosing "No" in the "Fill background" line Well done, the sprite is ready Make a double click to enter the layer Now click the text and go again to the properties tab to click "Set the object size automatically based on inserted text" It will fit the working area to the text size And don’t forget to align it with the center of the scene Then go to "Video effects" tab, select "Transforms" -> "Crop" in the dropdown menu In Crop properties click the “Crop tools” button to switch to the editing mode Switch the static mode to “Linear parameter change” Place the cursor to the very end and select "Set zero side" in the "Cropped borders" option Click 'Apply effect' Get back to your video's tab, click the 'Blend' button and select 'Inverted mask'
