from mid-journey designing the book cover and preparing the file for publishing let's get started to begin access mid-journey.com and sign up for a membership account mid-journey offers a paid plan that provides a commercial license for the images you create which is essential if you plan to sell your book you will also need to have a Discord account to create your images once you're all set it's time to create your images to create images enter the prompt by typing slash imagine and click on prompt for example let's use the prompt an image of a friendly monster cartoon illustration for a coloring book with crisp black lines at three two inches and hit enter to generate the images choose your desired image click on U1 and open it in your browser right-click on the image and save it to your computer repeat this process to generate more images for your coloring book next our next step is to create a membership account on canva.com we will utilize our pre-made Amazon ready KDP template to easily upload and create your coloring book this template simplifies the process by allowing you to effortlessly drag and drop your images edit the image names and make the coloring book engaging and educational for children we highly recommend creating a minimum of 24 to 25 images to ensure the completion of the book once you have created all the pages for your coloring book if you're using our pre-made canva template to create your coloring book delete the red layer frame on the first disclaimer page before saving now it's time to download it as a PDF file click on the top right corner of canva Select share then download in the drop down menu choose PDF print flatten PDF color profile CMYK best for professional Printing and proceed with the download now let's move on to creating the cover for your coloring book return to Mid journey and Enter The Prompt by typing slash imagine use the same prompt as before but modify it to kids illustration and specify Vivid color section when you're happy with your creation delete the red layer frame and the first and second images before saving now that you have your coloring book ready it's time to create an ad account on KDP Kindle Direct publishing Amazon and upload your book follow these steps to get started go to kdp.amazon.com and sign in with your Amazon account if you don't have an Amazon account you can easily create one for free once you're signed in it's important to set up your payment information in the account settings of your KDP Amazon account next click on create a new book depending on the format
