How to Cook Cornish Hens in the Air Fryer

hi everybody welcome to my channel rosie cooks i am making cornish game heads i have two of them i'm going to cook them in the airfryer i made up a little spice rub right here it consists of some onion powder garlic salt some regular salt lemon pepper parsley and some paprika i also have one tablespoon each of olive oil and some regular salted butter we're going to season these up you can pretty much use any seasoning you want but i'm going to rub these with the oil and the butter i'm going to season them up and then we're going to cook them in the airfryer okay so first things first you want to wash and pat your little hens completely dry okay pat them dry so here we go i'm gonna put my oil and butter all over my hands on all sides covering their legs and wings and covering the back side off well so now i'm just gonna add my spice rub okay just rub it all over get all this good flavor everywhere so here's my airfryer this brand i just picked it up at costco it was only fifty dollars it doesn't matter what kind of air fryer you have so here we are it has this little thing inside i sprayed it with a non-stick spray let's do this temperature okay i'm going 400 degrees and the time i'm gonna set it for 45 minutes but it's i'm gonna check it i've seen people they they do it for 35 minutes i've seen others 40 and 45 i'm gonna set it at 45 i'm going to check it at about 40. and let's see what it looks like first we're going to heat it up so it's got to be a preheat so that'll be about five minutes or so and then i'll put in my little hinge it's all heated up it's preheated so now i'm going to add my little pins i'm putting them in face down for 20 minutes i'm going to check them at 20 at 20 i'm going to turn them over face up okay so we're at the half point and look at this oh my goodness that looks really really good so i'm going to flip them over facing upwards and we're going to continue the cooking i have it set for 45 minutes i'm going to check it at the 40 minute mark and if i need that extra 5 minutes then i'll do it easy way to pick these up is with a tong just letting you guys know that i have found just like that here we go and here are my little hins it took me 45 minutes before i got the good temperature of 165 has to be 165 invest in the thermometer really helps out and here we are the finished product these are my cornish hens made in the air fryer very very easy 45 minutes and they are a beautiful color there's always one that's a little bigger than the other in these double packages these came out great cornish hens in the airfryer thank you so much for watching please subscribe and i will see you next time
