How To Clean A Mass Air Flow Sensor Properly

you so in order to clean the mass airflow sensor have it disconnected like so and take it off and then have something behind it like a rag or whatever like that to capture it your wife sprayed on the sensor side here not the other side so this is site where all the air rushes in and goes past hot wire but we use is a CRC mass airflow cleaner made just for it it won't damage any of the electronics in there and it's made just for it leaves no residue this is what Ford actually recommends us to get and you can buy that any auto parts store see is take it and you do a nice full blast on there concentrating on that sensor area we'll try that again with the light it's like a three to five second blast that's plenty that point just shake it off a little bit don't put no high pressure compress air through there it's real fine wire system in there you really don't mess with don't put no q-tips in there nothing crazy like that just kind of do a little shake like this and and it'll self air dry and leave no residue now we're clean to go back together
