hi everybody my name is osiris and i'm that guy who's going to talk about engagement rings today this is luna this is my new puppy she likes to chew things okay i put my ring sizer or ring holder down for one second look what happens chewed right through it okay so disclaimer my merchandise is chewed through okay that's her fault not mine so i have no time to get another one so it is what it is okay so say bye to luna put her down so today we're going to talk about engagement rings i wanted to create a buying guide for my viewers so i reached out to my friends at james allen and i asked them to send me some engagement ring styles so i could discuss that with you guys and show you options and what it realistically looks like i wanted to compare different size options uh smaller diamonds with halos versus solitaire diamonds or pave diamonds so i reached out to my friends at james allen and i explained to them that i want to get a lot of different engagement ring styles to do a buying guide for my viewers they obliged me and they said yes i appreciate you so thank you james allen for sending these to me i am not sponsored or paid by james allen but they were the ones that said yes and send me the merchandise so thank you you loyal so step one we're going to talk about halos okay halos are very popular they help increase the size of a smaller stone or just generally give you a better looking appearance larger looking appearance on your diamond so let's take a look at some of these here here's a big boy this is a a split shank it's a 2.2 carat round center stone okay so look this is a massive massive looking diamond uh the diamond itself is very large at 2.2 carats but with this halo it looks huge and beautiful now if you compare this to let me see if i can find a a regular two carat perfect so here is a two carrot stone it's a solitaire and it has an infinity pave around it very nice so right here you can kind of see they're both pretty even in size with two carats but massive difference in presence now the infinity pave is no slouch it is a gorgeous ring it's very classy very classic but for size you can't beat you can't beat a halo so if size is the goal for you halo you can't go wrong this is a twisted this is a twisted halo pave now this is a .90 carat this is a .90 carat now we have a more classic halo it's a single row pave this is a yellow gold this is an oval that happens to be two carats okay let's get a close-up so if you look at these let's actually switch this around [Music] this uh this 90.90 carat looks pretty good i mean it does give it a nice presence and brings up that size so if we get this uh let's get that .90 and put it against this two carat stone a rope halo like i showed you and next to a two carat i mean that's that's pretty amazing i would say that looks almost identical from you know i'm not gonna say super far away but from viewing distance this gives the halo a fighting chance a point ninety versus a two carat now it is quite a beautiful style ring you get a little up close here the one on the left is almost like a vintage marquis sapphire ring that has that milgrain on it then we have the rope the roped halo pave very nice and again it gives your 0.90 a fighting chance now for for comparison here is the here's the two point uh the two carat oval with the halo and it just again halo oval gives a different type of look a little bit more elongated i'm going to slide these halos right here and next we're going to go pave style so we got this beautiful pear [Music] that's a two carat pair we got this beautiful emerald cut it's about 2.30 carrot and we have this very cool it's a trio trio micro pave okay i'll show you this one up close and personal this is a very this is a very cool look if you notice the ring it's got three rows it's got diamonds under [Music] so this is going to be a very blingy ring when the light hits it it will shine a lot this is each pave on the hand it's a classic classic look it's a classic classic look oh i think pave has a more classic look a more dainty look i think it gives a little bit more attention to the main stone so again pave it's all subjective but this is a nice little comparison to see some differences next i want to do i want to show that vintage vintage style this is more of a a vintage look it's a three carat three carat center stone and it has the incredible details on the side and to be honest when i first saw this on the website i didn't love it let me show you those details [Music] when i first saw it on the site i didn't love it but in person it has a really nice presence it's very high up see that there that's all milgrain work and it does give it almost like a royal vintage feel sorry my hands are shaking here so again in person i really like this diamond uh ring a lot more than i did on the website so i'm gonna put a link to these so you can see it so here is a the infinity pave diamond ring it's a two carat center stone [Music] and i do like the look it gives it's very beautiful so if you don't like halos this is very nice paired to a pave that's the three row micro pave it does have a nice presence to it it's got a little extra flare here are two more vintage ones [Music] this is the uh the milgrain vintage sapphire these are very gorgeous styles these are different these are not paved you're not halos it's more of a vintage feel what do you guys think and the only one we have left is the classic solitaire so let's see [Music] this was a 2.80 carat really nice presents okay let me find another two carat or three character here so again a very different look the halo is extra [Music] the solitaire is very classic it does help that this is a very large diamond okay it does help very different looks again from far away [Music] i'm very sorry i keep using my hands let me put on the nice mannequins hands is i just put three rings together our 2.80 carat solitaire our two carat sorry three carat on the vintage ring and our underdog the point 90 on the roped halo so we could see an example what this looks like next to each other [Music] so the question stands do you go big do you go smaller and complement it with a nice diamond ring to give it a larger presence know your significant other this is going to help out greatly [Music] rings are very subjective so again we got a 2.80 carat three carat point 90 with a roped halo [Music] far away start looking a little bit more a little closer so here you go guys here about 11 different ring styles it's not every ring they have but hey beggars can't be choosers i got a nice little mix to show the purpose was to show the size difference the presence of the diamond rings the styles there's definitely a different variants of these and i suppose these are the more popular ones but once again know your significant other see if they have any pinterest boards to get a better idea ask a best friend and that'll be your safest bet so let me ask you which one was your favorite let me get some more up close ones for you guys so guys which one was your favorite do you like pave do you like halos do you like vintage please
