right really I mean it seems like I'm fishing the same thing but there are little nuances between all different types of bass fishin all right what we're doing here is a clam belly break alright and clam belly's the only things that we're going to need to know about that is when I have a same kind of setup kit this is the Sigler SG this is a huge just a big seven and a half foot Shimano Terramar rod I give you the specs if you even care buguese is music 7 now are we do have you as I suggest and this is basically a step in that is the DMCA six seven eight right right and power heavy in the actions fair so basically what we're doing here is the rig is very simple it's almost exactly identical for the other ones fishing monofilament and I normally get accounting the thing bunch of fish those things that's where you want to have multiple setups that can be multiple pairs right and that's what's nice about these truths it can hold fun of monofilament much more braids if need be and you can catch all different species with it all different techniques subscribe bears all right all right now I just want to go through a couple things that people make mistakes fishing is technique all right so basically were fishing these estuaries little pieces that feed into the Long Island Sound but the truth in matter is no now sound is a huge estuary okay so but my point is here this could be fished on any any place you can go up and down the North Shore Long Island go out the Connecticut wherever you kind of have these currents and these little speeds that you kind of funnel fish into let me tell you what you're supposed to do person I'll tell you mistakes that people do right so basically the back of the boat now is facing back in sound current so what you want to do is you want to throw these baits out down currents you want to feel let's think you hit the ground and then just kind of get ready to keep that rod tip down low one has that right to point it out so you can take that full swing if that rod sits up here you'd be able to move just a couple of feet that's not going to be able to set that hook in that fish's mouth so you won't have that that rod tip parallel to the ground isn't one facing right down at the water so you feel that bite you won't be able to swing get that whole swing into the hook sets in three yeah all right so that's key here what you're doing is you're casting out back you're letting that sink you hit the seafloor and then use kind of picking up the slack good so you can feel that barrel hit the fish behind the rake and then you're in business alright so what happens is you know you know you'll pump that Beach at a couple times so it moves like that and you wonder what the heck getting fixed looking at they come up to the leg the baby ski pods it's up in yourself but then again it says now nothing nothing my wife married me suggested beach made a mooch his math fact I remember her first words when we met or 8ci okay let's go through mistakes now again the current is ripping like this right I'm going to just before you can explain a mistake here just picture now the boat does this way currents ripping this way and you take a cinder block with a string tied to it and you throw it as far as you can which can't grow that far Joey tiles about because so you throw it out there what happens with that and that dad Maddox in the block hit the ground what happens with that coloring down with that with the line that's tied to it the line now going to go the cinder blocks going to hit the ground the line now is a court in that color is going to have a huge bow in it all right that's the problem so now that I've boned it you will never know of this strike on these fish these fish now will come up to the stage in the current and walk up that this is the bait they're coming up to the current they look at the baton they're kind of staging an evening like that it's delivery seconds what's second with these fish have that bait already with that bowl in that line you can be expanding a whistlin Dixie you never going to know you have a bike what's happening now is you're thinking I was tumbling down the channel and it's just a hot with the hot mess all right basically what you want to do now is call up some Italian joint gram couple meatballs official lines a big piece of spaghetti right now the things you might think so you don't want to take your rod and shape that perpendicular because you'll have a huge bow in that line and you'll never know if you get bit all right so you want to have these rods you know how you can't have 50 people doing this maybe two or three guys with the back of the boat for tops and you want to have those rods straight out so you have a direct line into that bait that's the key right here okay when you feel like put cap and it's quick as I'm doubled when you feel it immediately set the hook that means that that fish has that pokin its mouth and you feel that tap tap it's telling you it's like a ninja strike that's how fast you have to do so you in position again so you're in position you're in position we feel up light and you whip it on are you going to step back and whittlin I think immediately hook sail that's that the key to catching these fish so if you don't if you don't do that immediate look steps that that tap you're going to even look that fish is going to get your bait all right so just it's a learning curve no question about it crazy effective way to catch fish you can take the kids out there catch a million fish like this I don't want to throw all the fish record on video you guys reports it is this is more of a how-to to go client value right so key is if you can get your bait alright hopefully that bait comes from ll ll is a wholesale you bellies on one hook work a little way up into the base Bulbasaur locks on can't fit out there you're a festering right keep an eye on you chump make sure each other is actively putting this one just like it's not like shark fishing but you want to be able to get those fish into this like everyone into the blue moon take a handful of belly throw them out into the water let them go in and let those
