what's going on you guys we're down here at the Florida Keys right now we rented a house that's totally new to us we've never stayed there before so we don't have any GPS coordinates of where to go we're going to run out of here and I'm going to show you how to find lobsters in a place you've never been to before Sara's putting sunscreen on the girls we're headed out all right so right now I'm running around you got to make sure you're either in a channel or you know where you're at because there's so many sand bars around here that you can run up on and tear your boat up and destroy the habitat so you got to know where you're at man I'm running around kind of looking for clear waters you're not going to find crystal-clear we're water walk by buying clear water then I'll start showing you what kind of habitat I'm looking for because right now I'm looking for dinner people wonder why I'm such a fan of the sea deck so soft you can lay down on and just take it now stuff is funny see this I'm telling you there's gonna be bugs here see how it comes off that sandbar you have that light white teal colored I take a bucket like this it's got a clear bottom and you can look underneath the water I'm gonna jump in real quick for one second and just check this spot I just want to see what's on the bottom down all right so I I wear a weight belt whenever I'm free diving but our weight belt was left at home so I used an Engel tie-down strap as my as my weight belt [Music] so now you can see I've got this whole Park Taylor's gonna hit me man tickle stick it in net I'm gonna go ahead huh hit mark right here with the current found a coral head little cave up under there and there's a lobster he looks like [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] here you go that one and that one if you grab right here they will dig those so far into your hand 920 and they're strong as all get-out it's going on a little fast before dinner we came out here we have no numbers we're just diving I got two more right here that might be the biggest lobster I've ever caught the Florida Keys see how float is marking our spot nice signal Florida bug beautiful [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] this one is close they were here all right so me and Adam we both are out here his family's on his boat my family's on my boat and he's calling so the current is going like this so you want to always get dropped off on the up current side and he's already found some Lobster so I'm gonna get in a help Matt real quick [Music] [Applause] so I'll go down I'll pick them at you coming out of ketchup crabs are amazingly good to eat hey baby my honey the Buster that are your job that's a stone crappy no it's not that's a spider crab oh yeah [Music] I got something for you look at that that's a pretty shell you can have it you're welcome are you guys so what an awesome day we came out just scattered around found some rocks and the cool thing is when you find the rocks if you have a GPS mark the spot then when you come back you can start in that area and start figuring it out I feel like we did really good we caught a dozen bugs we're gonna go back ari had got the store full for the very first time today my whole family was out just swimming on the sandbar this with the Florida Keys and the salt life is all about we're gonna head back and we will see you in the kitchen alright so I can honestly say I am negligent of this for most of my life you just wring the tail and you say that's it let me show you how like let's say you come down to the Florida Keys and you catch a dozen lobster you want to make the most out most of it let me show you how all righty first off you want to kill him fast cut right through his head there now he's instantly dead take your knife and if you have a a knife that's not really that good it's probably gonna go dull there's the tail that's what everyone thinks of when they think about lobster but then take your knife right here at the base of their legs right here do this silverstack just cut right through the shell like it wasn't even there and if you guys wonder why I look like I've having an anxiety problems because I'm getting devoured by no seams take that shell peel that shell off and you're gonna be left with tons of meat right up top there but you got to make sure and get that's where like all the guts are and you don't want that if you get the guts see that if you cook this Lobster ed with that I'm telling you you're gonna hate yourself there you go now look at all that meat now we're gonna be making either bisque or chowder look at that now instead of just using the tail now we've got the tail the whole head and that all these legs are full of meat hey I'm gonna clean the rest eat Junkers and we'll see you in the kitchen all right can I sue everybody who's ever been to the Florida Keys knows what we're going through right now kids are playing we're all trying to have a good time we're starving we're hungry and I want to show you the difference because not all tails are created equal that is a perfectly legal size like exactly legal now look at the size difference oh do you see the tail light still twitching it's because it's so fresh that's a monster tail that's a legal tail but all you're gonna do take a good sharp knife like that silver stag right there watch this right down through the center oh my gosh like butt up yes got all that fresh loving goodness now we're gonna split the rest of them are you guys so this is taylor-johnson little girl that I love to death she's gonna season up our lobster tails and then we're gonna throw the steaks on the grill go ahead well garlic Meyer little salt and pepper so oh my gosh how good is that perfect perfect who doesn't love a little garlic all right well pepper a little salt oh yeah now Taylor just turn nine years old she's one of the cutest girls in the entire world and she wants to make a cooking video so if you guys think I should do an entire YouTube cooking video with Taylor drop thumbs up because I think we should like maybe like lobster chowder what do you think yeah Knox all right so that's ready to go let's just um let's take the steaks out of here we're gonna do a surf and turf tonight you guys I mean that's enough Lobster to beat us but look I mean Kristina brought steak why would we not cook it go ahead and season that up you wanna help okay here you go put some salt on there now this comes up really fast go ahead throw it on there put some salt on there bilikiss good let's do some pepper no wait wait I'm gonna help you say BAM look this is the best part about life getting the kids involved in the kitchen out on the boat having fun because when you get the kids involved do you want to be involved heck yeah your kids want to be involved in your life so let them be involved now we're gonna go throw these suckers on the grill for cooking rice we've got Brussels sprouts in the oven I guarantee you we're gonna have a good dinner all right just throw it right on there yeah let's get the steaks on we're gonna let these steaks cook for just a minute before we throw the lobster tail on if you put them both on at the same time the lobster tail will be done before the steak and we're trying to make them all come out at the same time so my tongs are what you can call broken I knew there was something wrong with him I just didn't know what let's see this work gotta love a good sirloin steak now he is with all this if you put the steak on too soon your sticks and completely done way before or if you put your Lobster on too soon it's gonna be done way before your steak so now we'll just lay these old Rascals right in here [Music] see that see how it's twitching see how all these little fins are twitching that means they're fresh now what we'll do we'll just shut this shut it and then you'll start having heat wrap all around it sort of cook it from every angle alright so these things have been cooking for probably about five minutes no maybe not even that meant three and a half that's what you're looking for just a little bit of grill mark [Music] you're bigger tales will be cooked unless you're smaller tales will be cooked more but you'll find out when you do this some people like their tales a little bit more well done I like mine about that medium rare guys so man it is sometimes it gets really difficult coming down here you wake up early in the morning your front around hot of blue blazes then you're diving you're in a boat over here over there you're trying to make everybody happy and then you come back and your cooking is late at night and just gets stressful oops yeah kids screaming and you're trying to make the most out of every single minute it's very important just to relax and realize that everybody's hungry everybody's tired and we're all here for the same reason to have fun oh that's right so we're done babe grab me the cutting board all right go grab these suckers wrong right on there and look at that y'all I mean we came out here today no coordinates just a boat and a bunch of excitement next thing you know we're eating surf and turf yo yo yo check this out boys and girls all right y'all I want to show you all something special I did this just for y'all I was at a store the other day and I saw this little giddyup and I thought man we're gonna use this later this is a butter wheel yo yeah you might not know what it is now but you will soon bring this right here all right put that right there is that right that's right that's right how's about a million degrees coming over there look at that roasted Brussels sprouts and when you open the oven look the heat come out because I almost died just then this one we got tonight got a little bit of Brussels sprouts these were oven roasted I wish I had some olive oil but I didn't we've got some rice I cooked this rice using chicken stock and then take one of these big old lobster tails take your fork dig it right into the corner of the tail put it right there now look check this out this is how you use the roller the butter wheel hmm I just realized something this is how you use the roller wheel Wow what you're supposed to put it inside the thing and turn it it's like lottery tickets no babe that's not how you do it but I appreciate it there you go got the steak you got the lobster little rice take a little bit of this butter just like that drizzled right on top there you go straight out the ocean now we did buy the stink at winn-dixie but whose is saying here we go come on Christina you said you loved Brussels sprouts they're all for you yeah there you go Sara's coming up next this is so easy y'all you want some baby go and look at that perfect medium-rare on the steak maybe a medium lobster chill rice Fross Fross babe here you go as you can see sara is getting all the kids food right now Taylor do you want something yeah of course you do lord thank you so much for this day thank you for my wonderful friends and my amazing family and all of our opportunities that we have or please nurse it to our body forgive us of our sins in Jesus name Amen are you guys this is what it's all about we came down here this is just a rental home and big pine that we had the opportunity to be a part of Adams here Cristina his whole family my family no numbers we just came out here and looked around jumped in this in the water a couple spots and eventually we found enough for dinner and that's what you're looking for when you come down here you don't have to fill the boat just go out and catch enough for dinner and you you will just enjoy the heck out of it because when you catch a fresh lobster like this that's right out of the ocean that you caught it's special now one now are the brussel sprouts burnt are they okay good everyone thought they were burned I hope you all enjoyed it I wish you were here but that's all I got for you
