Just so everyone knows and to be safe, don't use bronze/copper/zinc/tin cooking equipment for long periods of time especially if you're cooking with any kind of acid. The reason why is that your body will start to absorb the metals which can cause some serious health problems due to the fact that your body can only absorb so much metal at a time. This can cause you to get too much metal of one type and not enough of another. Specifically copper and zinc. It's fine to use every once in a while though or for specific purposes. Iron is better to use in general.

I kinda wish he went into the metallurgy of making bronze. What ratio of copper/tin did he use? Where did he get the materials? What advantages/disadvantages are there using cast bronze? I would imagine that bronze would be more expensive than iron, how does it compare as a cooking surface?

No shoes or foot protection on as he pours molten metal precariously. Not wise.
