hey everyone welcome back to our Channel hope you're all doing great today's video is super helpful if you are planning or thinking about going on a trip to Europe and you want to get shenen Visa so that you can visit different European countries for example France Germany Belgium Norway Portugal Netherlands Malta Switzerland Spain Poland Etc we will discuss all countries which fall under shenen area in detail later in this video here I want to mention that if you have provided right documents and somehow you can prove that you want to visit Europe for tourism purpose and you can show Visa officer that you have strong home ties then you can get shenen Visa very easily in this video I'll walk you through the whole process of getting visa to visit Europe we'll discuss following things in this video we will discuss what are benefits of having shenen Visa we will discuss how to apply for shenen tourist visa how much it cost to get shenen Visa and how long you can stay in Europe with shenen visa and list of documents required to get this Visa let's move but before we move forward it is important to understand what does mean by shenen area or shenen VISA shenen area is Union of 27 European countries which means if you have visitor or work visa for any of these 27 countries then you can travel all 27 countries which fall under shenen area for free here you can have look at all countries which fall under shenen area some of countries in list are Austria Belgium Germany Denmark Spain Italy Malta Sweden Norway Etc so let's dive right into the video all right the first step is determining which European country you'll be visiting think about where exactly you're going in Europe everyone's trip is different and everyone has different plans so depending on your plans here's what you need to do if you want to visit only one country in Europe then just focus on getting the visa for that particular country but if your adventure involves visiting multiple European countries like Switzerland Germany Czech Republic and France then it's a bit different you'll need to apply for the Visa at the embassy of the country where you're Landing first and where you're staying the longest let's try to understand with some examples if you want to visit only one country for example you want to go to France in Europe then you need to apply shenen visa through French Embassy so if you're only going to Germany you got to apply for the shenen Visa through the German Embassy let's take second scenario if you are planning to visit multiple countries during your trip to Europe for example you want to visit Germany for 4 days France for 2 days and Netherland for 2 days then you must apply visa with the country where you are planning to spend the majority of your stay in the shenen area so in this example you will be applying Visa through German Embassy so when you plan your trip you need to see where you will be staying for majority of time and apply visa accordingly let's move and take third scenario if you are planning to visit multiple countries during your trip to Europe and your state duration to each country is same for example example you want to visit Germany for 2 days France for 2 days and Netherland for 2 days then you must apply your Visa with the country where you are planning to land first in the shenen area let's say you've got a trip coming up and you want to visit multiple European countries and your stay to each country is same number of days if your first stop is going to be France well then you need to apply for your shenen Visa through the French Embassy got it once you figured it out which country's Embassy you need to apply to just stick to that process I hope everything is clear till this point let's move before we start Visa first you need to fill out online application form for that you need to visit official website of the country where you want to land first for example if you want to visit France then Google search France visa application and visit official website we will discuss this more in detail in coming part of our video Once you filled out your online application form then you need to book appointment at official website of vs from your home country for the country of your Landing for example if you are applying for France Visa then Google search VFS France in India if you are applying for shenen visa from India if you are applying form Canada or any other country then Google search VFS France with your country name name let's move forward in today's video I'm going to walk you through the whole process of applying for shenen Visa through the French Embassy it's super easy and if you follow along step by step you'll be all set to get your visa hasslefree if you want me to on Google France visa application you'll find a link that says start your visa application online which will take you to the official government site for France Visa once you click there you'll land on the government of France Visa site this is where you'll fill out the entire form for your visa application click on start your visa application if you already have an account click on my account if not you'll need to create a new account so click click create an account enter your last and first name then enter your email address select your language I have selected English then enter your password and enter verification code here and click on create an account you'll get a message saying thanks for creating an account and an email verification code will be sent to your email so when you receive the email simply verify it using the link provided once your password is set you'll gain access to your account dashboard where you'll find the section labeled here click on create a new application within the designated group upon clicking your application process starts requiring you to fill out all the necessary information on the form provided first of all you need to provide here your current nationality for example I will select here Indian if you have Canadian or us or any other nationality then and simply select from drop- down menu next are you joining or traveling with a family member from an EU country excluding France I will enter here no next here you need to provide information about your stay place of residence and submission of the application please select where you would like to submit your application I have selected here India if you want to submit application at any other country then select that country name here next is city of submission of the application select the city where you will be submitting your application I have selected New Delhi then you select duration of your stay you have different options here but I have selected short stay Which is less than 90 days then you need to provide the main destination of your stay next you need to provide information about your travel Document which is passport select country which issued your passport then select travel Document type which is in most cases ordinary passport then enter your passport number here with date of issue and date of expiry in this section you need to provide information about your travel plan why are you making this trip you have different options as we are going as tourists so I have selected tourism then you need to enter here your main purpose of trip again we will select here tourism then in this section you need to provide information about your travel and your travel plans in short you need to provide information about your itinerary you need to provide information about your travel plans on which date where you want to go you need to have all this information ready before you apply for shenen Visa here I have provided a small example how you can write your itinerary in short you need to provide information about your plans next as per provided information above we need to get visa to visit Europe if you want you can read below and simply click on next on this page you need to provide your personal information below your identity personal details information about your family let's move under your identity you need to provide all your information you need to select your sex your marital status select as per your status I am going to select married here then your last name enter here if you had different last name then enter here if not then you can leave it blank then you need to enter here your first name make sure that you enter all this information as per your official passport then enter your date of birth here make sure you enter place of birth as given in your passport then enter here country of your birth here you can provide national identity number so you can enter here your Adar card number or leave it blank let's move to next section here you need to provide your personal information for example your address post code City where you live country of residence your contact number your email address where you can be contacted next then you need to provide details of your identity do you live in a country other than the country of your current nationality I have selected no for example if you are Indian citizen living out of India then you need to select yes here next are you joining or traveling with a French national family member I have selected no next is do you join or travel with a family member from an EU country excluding France again I have said no you need to answer these questions as per your situation let's move here you need to provide information about your profession you need to enter your current profession from this drop-down list if your profession is not listed here then you can select other and manually enter your profession enter the name of your employer enter the address where your employer is located provide postal code City Country telephone number and email address of your employer once you provide all information Simply Save and click next here you need to answer yes or no no questions if you have received a shenen Visa within the last 5 years have your digital fingerprints previously been taken in connection with a previous application so you need to answer these questions as per your situation let's move and click on next here you need to provide information regarding your stay in the shenen area in short you need to provide information about your stay they are asking if you will be traveling to other member states or territories even if it is only for a few hours if you are traveling only to France then answer no if you have plans to visit more countries in Europe then select yes then you need to select the countries you will be visiting from this drop down list next you need to provide the country name where you will be entering first from this drop- down list for the purpose of this video I will select no here next you need to provide your planned date of AR in the shenen area and then enter your planned date to leave Europe here you need to enter the total number of days of your stay in the shenen area if you are planning several consecutive stays then calculate the total number of days of your different stays the duration of stay must not exceed 90 days per half year next enter the number of entries required in the shenen area for the period planned if you want to enter the shenen area multiple times in 90 days then select multiple entries but if you want to visit only once then select one entry in this section you need to provide again your reason for visiting the shangan area so from the drop- down menu select the appropriate reason for your visit I have selected tourism click on next in this section you need to provide information about your stay the first option is if a person will be accommodated you tick this box only if you have someone known in the shenen area and if this person will be accommodating you next tick this option only if a company or organization is taking care of your accommodation lastly if the above two options are not applicable to you or if you are not being hosted by a person company organization then you need to provide the address of a hotel where you will be staying for your stay so in this section you need to enter all details about your hotel or place of stay name of hotel or place of your stay address of your stay city name email of your hotel Etc lastly you need to provide information about your trip funding if you are sponsoring your trip by yourself then tick here if someone else is taking care of your funding then click here for the purpose of this video I have selected the first option here you need need to provide information about your funding and accommodation if you have already prepaid your accommodation then tick here if you have already prepaid your transport cost then click here otherwise leave it blank if you are taking a credit card to manage your expenses then tick here if you are taking cash with you click here if you want to take a debit card then click on other and add your debit card I want to mention mention that now you can use the UPI payment system in Europe as well let's move and click on next in this section you can find all required supporting documents which you need to carry with you for your day of appointment we will discuss all documents which you need to submit in detail in next part of our video first of all you need to have your visa application form for shenen Visa which we just filled out in last part simply you need to download and print it out and take with you make sure that you paste your recent picture here I will provide a link in description for photo specifications second you need to take a Visa appointment which you need to book at VFS Global website in next part of this video we are going to discuss how to book a Visa appointment from VFS Global website this is how a typical Visa appointment letter looks like where you can find time and date of your visa application third is your current passport it is important to note your passport must have minimum validity of 6 months if you do not have it then get your passport renewed fourth if you have any old passport which is expired now you should also carry with you which you might require fifth is if you have travel history to any other country and then your passport should have Visa stamps and entries which will make your case stronger so do not forget to have print out of them as well next is your cover letter which you need to write by yourself and this cover letter will have all details about your travel itinerary here I will give you a live example of cover letter which you can follow for your reference on top you can type date then I am addressing this letter to France embassy then you have subject of this cover letter then provide some details about your trip next you can provide details of all documents which you will be submitting along with this application then finally you can provide your itinerary I will leave link to this letter in description so that you can have access to it let's move next you need to provide return tickets along with your application and make sure that you have print out for that number eight is proof of your accommodation if you are staying at a hotel then have a print out of your hotel booking next is your address proof for this this you can provide copy of your government issued ID which has your address as well next is travel insurance you must need to have travel insurance with minimum coverage of €30,000 lastly most important document is your proof of funds you can provide your previous 3 years of income tax return which means that you are paying taxes back home and you have strong home ties you can also provide net worth CA report you need to have net worth report you can contact a CA to make net worth report for you CA report will have valuation of any property you own for example your house agriculture land or any other property you own and you can also include gold valuation as well next you should also provide bank statement of 6 months which makes our file stronger if someone is inviting you to Europe then you need to provide Prov bank statement of inviter as well along with his pay stabs and job letter Etc if you own a business if applicant has a business or you are self-employed or you have a shop back home then provide article of incorporation you can also provide Revenue documents for business if you have GST number then you can provide that as well lastly I want to mention that you need to prepare your application in way that Visa officer will not have any doubt about your travel plans which will maximize your chances of getting Visa let's go back to visa application form and scroll all the way down and click on continue then simply tick here and click on continue [Music] button then you need to pay visa application fee of €80 and simply click on continue once you pay your visa application fee then you will be able to submit your application to visa center and once you click on this button your visa application will be submitted let's move now let's see how to book appointment on VFS Global website all right let's open Google browser and type in VFS France and then enter country name from where you will be applying for example if you are apply from India then enter here VFS France India so in short you should pick the VFS France site relevant to the country you're applying from now click on the top link which should lead you to VFS Global make sure the web address in the browser bar ends with f to confirm you're on the correct site for France once you're on the VFS Global site locate and click on the option to book an appointment so to get started simply click on book now upon clicking you'll encounter two options the first is for those who haven't completed the France visa application form alternatively if you've already filled out the form so I will click on this link as we have already filled our visa application form then proceed to click I accept to book the appointment upon clicking you'll be prompted to sign in if you have an existing account go ahead and sign in otherwise simply click I don't have an account to create a new one I'll click on sign in now as I already have an account one once signed in you'll notice there are no applications click on start a new booking to proceed from there you'll need to fill in your appointment details all right let's simplify this process step by step first you need to choose the visa application center in India there are 15 centers but depending on where you're applying from pick the one closest to you for example I'll choose the center in New Delhi for applying to France next system will automatic Ally fill out appointment category as you can see here then you need to select subcategory from drop- down menu as we want to visit France for tourism purpose so select here tourist now here's the tricky part sometimes there might not be any available appointment slots don't worry it happens in that case try other centers to see if there's availability there keep checking regularly until you find an open slot if you still do not find any date for appointment then try again after some time you will be able to find appointment dates but here you can see that slots are available let's move and click on continue here you need to provide your personal details France Visa registration number which you can find on your submitted France application then provide all other required information including your passport and address Etc then click on save button if you want to add another candidate then simply click here I want to mention that a service charge is applicable as you can see here to submit a visa application at a VFS Center and payable online then click on continue button then an OTP will be sent to your number after that follow simple steps and you will be
