so let's say you want to make a unique and realistic character animation but you can't find it on a miximo and unlike our boy James over here you don't have the spare change for Mo cap suit well in that case record or find a video of someone doing the complex motion that you want then bring into blender's background image and align your 3D camera with the position perspective of the real camera next you can take your digital character and align it with the pose of the real world performer it helps if you switch to wireframe mode and pretend your digital characters is sort of 3D mass for the real world performer do this for every frame keep everybody knows you going before you know you have a digital character accurately mimicking the motion of the real world performance this technique is known as rotomation and has been used since like the early 1900s or something to create realistic animations and thanks to Diego for this awesome clip you can check out more of his work on Instagram or YouTube
