Cloth Animation Quick Tip for Blender!!

all right so after hours of struggling with blender's cloth simulator you finally got your simulation looking half decent however it also looks like you could use a little more detail well a little trick I like to do is add a displacement modifier to my cloth then click new texture after this you can pop over to the texture Tab and switch the type to Cloud so I mess around with the size and strength until you get something that looks like cloth ripples lastly to make a ripples move create an empty and animate its location before going back to the displacement modifier switching the coordinates to object and selecting our animated empty and boom now you have animated cloth ripples to make your simulation more detailed and energetic foreign
