asalam alikum today we are going to see what is camera Shake effect in Unreal Engine this should look like this and this camera Shake effect is uh used in many ways in game development uh for example if you jump uh from a height and fell on a floor you can uh give a uh give this effect and when your card uh uh speeds up you can also add this effect camera Shake effect and also in flying and in many ways so let's see how how we can achieve this camera Shake effect in unre engine so first of all uh I have this setup here I will create it from the beginning and I have this camera Shake Legacy class so I will make it from a scratch so first of all let's move to this tutorial folder easy game mechanics camera Shake now we will create our own uh camera Shake blueprint class so blueprint class and you have to write camera Shake here scroll scroll it down and you will see a legacy camera shake and you can also make a camera Shake effect by using this but now uh we are going to use this class simply uh select it and bpor Camera shape okay okay now uh when we open it you will see different uh options here we will tweak this options later Let's uh set up uh in third person character first so uh let's uh you have to use uh camera and Camera Shake Note camera Shake play World camera shake and now you you have to now we will choose the class which we have just created BP camera Shake epicenter it is a location to place a camera Shake effect so it will be over and get actor location and let's bring it down and know so inner radius and outer radius if your camera it means follow camera lies in between these two values and uh a radius from the epicenter then your camera will have Shake effect for example if we keep inner radius as zero and let's say we uh give the value of 500 and now and let's make it 5,000 to make it sure it's yeah sorry okay now uh if we come here and press C nothing happens because we have to uh set this up so what is oscillation duration oscillation duration means uh the duration of camera shake for example one means and the camera Shake will remain for one second and two means camera Shake will uh remain for almost 2 seconds so let's make it 1 second and amplitude uh these are two types one is rotational oscillation it mean rotational movement of camera and the location mean linear uh forward backward left to right movement and up and down movement of oscillation it is along XYZ and it is pitch your enroll so uh let's make it amplitude uh the power uh at which you want to shake camera the intensity of the camera Shake let's uh make it three and frequency 25 initial offset from zero and it it it is two types sine wave uh like a sine wave and pein means uh totally random uh movement of your uh camera shake so in s wve a and the camera move from zero to maximum value and then towards the lowest value but in ping noise the the camera Shake will be totally random so it's up to you uh which effect you want so now we have this uh setup uh let's see what we get here so now I am pressing C now you see we are getting a camera shake and it lasts for one second there is an important thing here for example if I press C again and again and again what will happen you will see it will start to shake more and more because multiple uh Shake instances will start to run at in background if you want to uh run only just one uh instance of camera shake you have to check this bull in here single instance now if I press C again and again and again again it will keep on uh just it will keep just one single instance of camera check and the other important thing is for example if I make this value a low like uh 250 and our camera is not in between these two values I now you I'm pressing C now there is no camera Shake effect so to make camera Shake happen and your camera should be so it's a it's far behind our character our actor so uh this camera should lie in between these these two values so let's make it 5,000 again and let's make some changes here uh like your make it to uh 20 again zero let's see what happens now you see it's moving up and down and also in your moment so uh let's make a default to see the effect of plin how plin affects the camera shape now you see it's totally random okay you can clearly see the difference between uh the perlin and sine wave it's in sequence and the perlin one is totally random so this was a basic tutorial about uh camera shake and you can tweak these values to get the result whatever you want you can change other you can change these values for example if I make this value five and uh frequency of so let's say 13 from zero again in sequence you will see our camera will move from left to right also it's moving up and down in plin but also it's moving from left to right in y AIS so you can achieve many effects uh whatever suits you best so this was a uh basic tutorial about the camera Shake I hope it will help you in the next video uh I will see you with some other tutorial till then Allah
