how to add Auto roles in Discord well that is what I'm going to show you guys in this pretty quick and easy tutorial so if this video helped you out let me know in the comments and let's get started right away so for this we are going to do uh we're going to test it out with this server over here I have only one server on this account but I want to go to Google and I want to search for Carl bot uh this is a bot that we are going to add to our Discord server in order to add Auto roles so I'm going to log in with Discord over here now you want to make sure um that you select the correct account and then you want to authorize and uh then you get to this page here you want to select a server so I'll just select This Server and here you have to make sure once again it's the correct server then click on continue you want to take all of this and then click on authorize I'll just do the capture real quick quick and we should have added this right now I'm going to skip this and once we are here you can go back to Discord and see that carot has just joined the server it's also right over here now before we actually uh go back to Google you first want to make sure to go to the server settings go to roles make sure that Carl bot is all the way at the top now the second thing that you want to do is obviously add your roles that you would like to assign to everyone or like Auto assigned to everyone that joins the server so I've created Community real quick and now I can go back once you are here back again in the carall settings you can go over here to Auto rolls and I actually already added this but basically here it says Auto roles these roles are assigned to any new member who joins so that's exactly what we want so then click on options and you can select Community then click save and say success settings applied so now every single new person that will join the server will have this Rule Auto assigned so that's how to add auto rules to Discord
