How To ACTUALLY 1v1 Your Friends in CS2

it's going to be a quick tutorial on how to create a 1V one server for you and your friends firstly going to open the developer console and pick whatever map you're going to play by typing map and followed by the map name once you're in your game you're going to go ahead and kick the Bots you also make whatever changes you'd like to the server using console commands I'm not going to go over those in this video once you're in the server go ahead and type status status will show you this IP here this is an internal IP so if you're on the same network you can go ahead and Connect using just this otherwise you'll have to port forward which I'll go ahead and show you in this next step now you're going to have to head to the port forwarding section of your router not going to show you how to get there it's different for all sorts of router so just look that up yourself we're going to set the IP to that internal IP that we saw previously for me that's 10.0.6 and then the external Port can be almost anything I'm going to go ahead and use the same Port as the internal server is using but you could use for example uh I use the 25565 which is the default for Minecraft uh just because I had it in my head that internal start port and end port is very important that needs to be the one that comes up in the status in CS2 and then this protocol I haven't done much testing yet but I recommend using TCP UDP or sometimes it's labeled as both and then click apply at that point you'll need to figure out what your public IP is uh that's pretty simple just go and Google what is my IP and it'll pull up this so you'll copy this send this over to your friends the full socket will be your IP plus the external Port that command will be on screen or in the description thanks so much for watching I hope you learned something bye now
