HOW MUCH MONEY MY AUDI RS6 HAS LOST...

[Music] hi guys and welcome back to archie hamilton racing and to another video where today you join me with my audi rs6 behind me and i've been a little bit offline this week uh you would have seen uh you might have if you follow me on instagram as well i had an operation so uh i was i haven't been very well uh but uh i am now back and the operation went well and fingers crossed uh we have got to the bottom there everything is crossed uh i will know more um when i get results back next week but anyway today is car based and we have obviously like i've mentioned the audi rs6 and what i wanted to do is go in a lot more depth with this car since my ownership talking about i've spoken before about costs but not necessarily costs that it cost to do but how much i've actually lost money-wise by owning this car that seems to be a question which everyone seems to be wanting to know if they're buying one or experiencing one how much do these actually hold their value by all of that to come as well also compare all the different options that you can get with an rs6 and also talk about the future of my garage cars incoming cars outgoing etc okay and the car is all parked up please do not have a go at my parking i literally just came here and parked it up just to fill this video so uh yeah do not uh blame my parking too much it just look insane now that it has been de-wrapped and everything i really feel that this car sort of come to its own and on my instagram recently i have been posting about this car and so many pages have been sharing it i've never had a car on instagram that has done as well as this purely just from sort of engagement wise it's ridiculous front plate seems to fall on off ladies and gentlemen i don't know where it's gone but it's fallen off which is another idea when plates fall off is it and what i've still not done that is so bad of me is fix the splitter when you look at it sat there look at it sat there look at it sat there i don't think i've ever looked at a car so much since owning one that looks as good as this a good sign when you own a car is when you walk away from it when you lock it and you look back and how the hell is that sort of my daily driver it's crazy yeah you don't get the carbon that runs down the side just there i've obviously added an extra splitter on the side and obviously the front you don't get the carbon there so in terms of what if you're gonna go buy one of these i think the perfect middle ground is the carbon edition that seems to be the sort of the most popular one and then you can get it looking like that but in terms of modification wise it's not cost me crazy crazy amounts of money obviously i had to buy the vossen wheels had to buy the you know the kit for it kind of what it looks like because with an apt car you sort of rip the things to shreds but with this everything with this is reversible i could literally take this whack everything original back on and in two hours maybe even one hour it will be uh reversible cause i get so many questions going oh that splitter is that gonna damage the bodywork no it all comes off and it goes completely back to original chaos before we go for a drive and we'll talk about everything these cars on the market for a carbon car i think brand new they're roughly a hundred thousand pounds that gets you the carbon edition uh itself a vorsprung is between 110 120 000 pounds and then launch edition is a little bit less than that so that's what they are new and i'm going to tell you in the car how much i've lost on my car considering to where this car sits today um on the market see with this car we have the alcantara wheel that comes with the carbon edition cars um i believe then we get the additional carbon which is in here we get sort of oh yeah we've got banging olsen ladies and gentlemen we've got that flying around in here and then just this very nice sort of display that we have uh sort of kind of like the double display and then as you can see 2563 miles not done loads but then what the best part about the carbon one if you're going to get a carbon one is carbon absolutely everywhere pam roof it's the best thing in the world and obviously the screens they're just ridiculous have it on auto comfort i've never actually been running this car in efficiency we have so much here that i'm not going to go in i'm not going to go into all of it because there'll be lots that i won't get right so here we go let's talk all things money how much money i've lost on an audi rs6 everything i'm sure you want to know i've lost a hundred thousand pounds uh but i haven't it's positive stuff actually this video um and we'll talk about i've had trade bids on this car i've had well i'm going to talk to you about my monthly payments a rough figure on my monthly payments and what the car sits today at retail money i think all three of those are very very important when you are talking about what your car is worth how much money you potentially lost and obviously the modifications which i've done uh that's you know money i've put into this car um that's something which you know you can't sometimes expect that back but to get it to this looks that's my my financial sort of you know what i put into this car so let's talk first of all about what these cars are worth on the market today or brand new they're a hundred thousand pounds simple fact hundred thousand pounds you can get yourself a carbon edition rs6 well a little bit more brand spanking new if i was to retail this car today or not me personally because i don't retail cars but if i if it was going to be retailed it would be late 90s it would be under 100 000 pounds but it would be late 90s um with this car which is incredible really um considering that obviously i bought it brand spanking new um and everything else obviously buying one put your deposit in usually 10 10 15 and then your monthly payments i'm gonna say my monthly payments are a lot more than a thousand pounds but there are less than two thousand pounds i'm not going to go into my exact monthly payments but that's kind about where they are i kind of wish it was a press car then i would have it completely for free but it's not a press car and uh i think audi would be fairly disappointed with me if they saw what i've done to this car in terms of the modifications don't think you're going to get away with that one trust me i've put roughly i think it's total price if i was going to calculate everything with the wheels and everything it's about five or six thousand pounds i've put into it that's that like i said that's money i'm potentially never gonna get back but uh well well i'm not gonna get it back but you know what i mean i wanted it to look like this and if you compare it to an apt car at 200 000 pounds which if you drove an audi rs6 interact tomorrow you would have to spend minimum 50 000 pounds to get your car to look like an apt car and it's probably even more than that it's probably 80 90 000 pounds but so i'm quite happy with that investment which i made to make this car my own and everything else i like to make cars my own i like to modify them if you were going to sell your car tomorrow to a trader what would i get for this car obviously with the car it would obviously it would have to go back to stock the car would have to go back completely to stock original wheels take all the uh the maxton design kit off it and everything else and with the two two and a half thousand miles that's about a few we've got 15 miles left should we should i brim it and then we'll see how much it costs in fuel as well i might we might as well do that while we're on this video um put it completely back to stock take your vossen wheels off take the kit off uh 92 000 pounds is a trade bid which i've had on this car before making this video so that's kind of roughly where it's at so if you were if i was going to sell the car tomorrow obviously you have let's say if 7000 pounds lost there and then in terms of from what you bought the car to you know to what it sold and then you got your modifications which you know let's say five or six thousand pounds i think 13 plus your monthly payments but obviously you're gonna get some of the monthly payments back when the settlement figure you know what i mean so i'm not very good at maths i failed maths gcse four or five times and still never passed it obviously you are paying the car off every single month um but in terms of a loss it's not as bad as you think for owning a car like this when you buy them brand new and something that really attracts me to them is that they actually hold their money better than kind of any other car in that sort of range svr as well hold money really well they've kind of gone up a little bit um they're like 90 000 pounds i sold mine for less but it's pretty crazy that an rs model has held that well uh but it's good it's a good thing so if people are out there thinking should i get an rs6 for this i just think they're the best cars in the world but the money factor that's it's not as bad as people think might go completely the opposite way but at the moment it's not to talk about in terms of supercar okay so that's something which i really do want to do obviously i do like bringing that content to you a supercar it's very important i'm well aware of that so i'm on the hunt i've been looking at 600 lts i've been looking at hurricane evos i've been looking at perfomantes i've been looking at mclaren 720s but just haven't come to a decision of what i actually want i am terrible with making decisions that is my fundamental problem so um i will get it sorted soon we've got summer coming up we're being allowed to do more this summer hopefully we can go on road trips so that will come shortly uh obviously we've got the racing there'll be more updates coming with that soon but i do want to do it it's not something i'm not gonna do and then others cars coming to the garage as well um i've been on the phone sorting different kind of things out to bring different content with more affordable cars that's something where this channel originated from with the a45 amg and i want to bring that content back because i know people love that and that's really important that my audience know that i know that you like that and i really like making the obtainable content um because they're just as much fun and i think that's really important for you guys to know that that will be coming back to the channel within the next month here we go we are bringing it to the top ladies and gentlemen to the top 10 miles left and we're going to the top i'm thinking it's going to be 100 pounds but i'm hoping it's going to be under it's gonna be a hundred pounds it's gonna be a hundred pounds you know that feeling when you think you might put diesel in it i just had that that's really not good is it 50 pounds 60 pounds we're not even universe if you're not nearly there don't drive the car if you can't afford to fuel it out that's me 90. it's going to be well over oh we clicked 92 92 pounds from empty to four there we go to fuel an rs6 from empty to full 93 pounds 61 to get this car like i say this was fully empty five miles left to full oh it does look good in the petrol station oh baby that
