How Mennonite women do their hair by Monica Rose

hello everybody I'm going to show you how many nights do their hair they make those head coverings I used to be a member of the Holderman Mennonite Church I'm also called Church of God in Christ Mennonite you can look them up on Wikipedia I think they're the 12th largest Mennonite group and there's many other ways that been nice to their hair but this is the way that I learned to do my hair actually how we did it so these are the tools we would use the brush and comb and beer and then some hair clips mmm it's all stuck and oh my hair clips I'll show you how we use them looks like three at least and a hair net which is all stuck in bobby pins got a ton of bobby pins and then the black covering part is attached with a safety pin and it's hard to really show you but oops stuck in kind of a hole in the center and extra little padding at the top alright that was our everyday head covering I'll show you the Sunday head covering later as well if your Specter you would make a party in the middle because that signifies pleasing this you playing is what they study they strive for but yeah just happen sometimes let's click on the first clip in the second clip took me half an hour to an hour to learn how to do it at first but I learned to do it ten minutes let's practice the next clip up here and then comes the hairnet oh I'm missing one thing actually a lot of things call me back these hairpins different things so I use it to hook underneath the bun part yeah twist it twist it like this and bring it over a double and then hook it again good again back in the back yeah I used to anchor it and then anchor the top kind of flatten it out a bit so it's smooth not too bumpy up there yes sometimes for padding this funny thing I can manage this all no I think I lost the Kleenex I'll just take it out I have a little extra padding there anyway you Center it and put two bobby pins on the top give me a sec let me check that my camera's still working yep alright so this part to tuck the tail in underneath and pull that part on top over top there you have the two two little fools and on the center let me down the side yeah try and make it look shapely but every day was different and every persons were different now the bobby pins are holding up from the bottom and then some right-sided I'll show you use two pins with gold pins into them hold up another tab and stick the pins in little pin pushing on her head open in sideways just finish the product just what I wore every day just school church to everything and I can was doing and then what we wore on Sundays would be more dressy we'd have this square piece of fabric you can see and then fold it like this yeah well there's not too tight stick it on there put it back to cover this I'm gonna stick a pin in there too to hold off which I do not have an extra pin for that and then we're gonna go to church make sure it's straight is it something dude if you liked watching this tutorial or whatever explanation subscribe thanks for watching
