how I straighten my natural curly hair to look like an EXPENSIVEEE wig✨ | TYMO straightening comb

[Music] [Applause] is [Music] what's up guys welcome back or welcome to my channel today i'm going to be showing you how i get my hair to be nice and sleek and wig like when i straighten it this is a new routine that's way easier on the curls gives the best volume best shine best body if you're new to my channel this is what my hair looks like with absolutely no product in it um and i'll show you how i straighten it so if you're interested please keep watching let's get into it so starting off on freshly washed hair i just shampooed conditioned and used a deep conditioner with some protein in it to make sure my hair is nice and healthy you know before we apply heat i'm just going to go ahead and split my hair down the middle do three parts on each section of my hair resulting in six separate parts this makes it a lot more manageable for when we start blow drying and stuff like that because my hair has gotten a lot thicker aka a lot harder to manage you guys can obviously part your hair however you want this is just the way that i personally choose to do it [Music] okay so now we're going to get our first section situated and i'm going to be applying a heat protectant i'll be using gisu's heat me treat me complete me propolis infused heat protectant um the first part was a little chunky so i'm just putting it in half and putting one guy to the side and i'm just gonna really apply that hue protectant generously you want to make sure you get it in there generously because we don't want heat damage and we want the benefits of the heat protectant [Music] so to blow dry i will be using this tymo hypersonic blow dryer now this was sent to me by taimo so thank you taimo but all the opinions are my own i think this thing is so sick it looks super futuristic it performs super futuristic it's really lightweight and it sounds like a blowtorch kinda i'll let you guys hear what it sounds like so yeah now i'm changing the temperature from cool to 140 to 175 to the three little dots towards the bottom are your speed options and again i think this is a really cool gadget to invest in it's really unlike any blow dryer i've ever had so thank you tymo for sending so i like to set my blow dryer to highest heat low speed just make this process go a little bit faster and get my hair nice and ready for straightening [Music] so my ends are in need of a little haircut they're pretty scraggly and dead looking so i'm gonna go ahead and give it a light dusting or aka a baby trim and then i kind of brush my hair out and trim along the shape anything that looks like it doesn't belong i just snip it off then i twist my hair up and put it to the side and i just carry this entire process out on the rest of my hair [Music] so for the straightening process i will not be using a traditional hair straightener i'll be using this timer ring hair straightening comb now this thing has a bunch of cool specs it has five different temperature levels for different hair types 60 second heat up time 30 minute auto off just in case you happen to leave it on 360 swivel power cord international dual voltage and auto temperature lock this thing is literally in the shape of a comb or hair brush you just slip your hair through the grooves and there's no burn smell there's no sizzling it is just a nice little tool it cut my straightening process down from 2 hours to 45 minutes so this thing really really really gets the job done again this video is sponsored but this is my honest honest opinion i tell nothing but the truth this comb also came with a little hairbrush super cute it came with a glove so that you don't burn your opposite hand and a sleeve to store your comb in when you're finished um again another cool gadget i'll show you how to use it so i put the glove on my non-dominant hand i'm putting the brush up to the highest setting and i'm using it on a medium sized section i like to do two good passes and really focus on my ends on the second pass after that you just have a nice sleek piece of hair man it really and truly gets the job done so i'm just going to show you guys once more i'm doing one good pass on a medium sized section and then i'm gonna go ahead and flip it around just to show you guys what it looks like going through the comb and it's all done it's that easy and leaves you with a nice silky shiny hair so now i'm gonna continue this on the rest of my hair [Music] do so after i'm done with one side i like to go in with a nice lightweight hair oil i'm using carol's daughter's black vanilla hair oil it smells absolutely divine and it just gives your hair an even sleeker nicer shinier look so i'm just gonna apply it roll it up to set for a little while and then i'm gonna continue on the other side of my hair [Music] active by night keep going crazy [Music] so [Music] [Music] so after about 30 minutes of letting my hair set with the oil this is what it's looking like it is nice and sleek and straight even my roots are super straight the brush really does a great job at targeting the roots my hair is a little bit puffy because you know it is humid outside but i'm going to show you how i get more body into my hair this is pretty much how i get my hair to look more wiggish and it's super duper easy so i'm just going to show you guys how i do it i'm taking a nice light moisturizing oil this contains jojoba in it and i'm just going to go ahead and start rolling my hair around itself kind of in a bantu knot motion but do not forget to roll your roots also and to roll it away from your head not towards your head because that's going to give it the curtain bang look and that's what we want it just looks really expensive so again we're gonna go ahead and we're gonna start rolling our hair and i'm doing this in four parts so two sections on each side [Music] so after about an hour or two of letting those amazing oils soak into my hair i'm just going to take down these little ringlet bantu knots and as you can see my hair is super voluminous bouncy and shiny and these little bantu knots just added so much volume into my hair it even added curtain bangs that i didn't even know that i had so um yeah using this method is absolutely everything you guys i get so many compliments it really does look wiggish and i'm just really excited that i got to share it with you guys today this is what it looks like from the side and this is what it looks like from the back it's all very cohesive and um yeah guys definitely give it a try and let me know what you think a good straightener is
