How I Became RICH in Hypixel Skyblock

picture this it's the 20th of april 2022 just a normal day in the skyblock world and then bam maintenance scheduled for 0.13 aka the nether update aka everyone is going crazy and pooping all over the place anyways the first part of the update they rolled out were the new talisman changes these are pretty complicated behold everyone crafting table 2 but all you need to know is that the demand for reefer's stones skyrocketed dark corb i know that one 700k right wrong you bozo 4 million rock candy this one sucks you throw it out wrong again it's 300k now somehow luxurious pool 9 billion coins your mom actually that one that one still sucks understandably a lot of people wanted to sell their reefer stones but a lot of those people also listed them for very cheap what i did was just buy the ones under market price and release them i did this for about half an hour or so and made around 15 million coins profit pretty good then the actual update comes out one good look at the map and you quickly realize that this thing is probably bigger than my future i i mean all the other islands combined you got a castle you got a volcano you got a desert a little pigment village a village with a dragon skeleton hogwarts even shrek and the subscribe button are here wow look at shrek go i feel like you should do the same maybe even give the like button a nice little smooch but i wasn't here to admire the scenery i was here to make money in this update there are three main ways to become rich one fishing two play slayer and three kudra now in true high pixel fashion the quest line was bugged and you couldn't beat the magma boss because he just didn't spawn amazing and without completing the quest line you couldn't fight kudra so it was between fishing and blaze layer and i went with a ladder the first tier was simple a few right clicks with my hyper on and bada bing bada boom each of these bosses drops to derelict ash which were selling for 800 000 coins each now granted it was very tough to sell and it quickly fell down to around 250k but still with this i was making around 30 million coins an hour doing tier 1 blazes and it got me thinking if tier 1s are this profitable then tier 2 and above must be insane and that's true but it's not that simple tier 2 plus inferno demon lords have this ability which gives them 99 damage reduction against everything even verbal insults trust me i tried hey you you're you're lame and you look you looks very very very stupid well everything except for the slayer source that is how do you get them money a lot of money and after about 40 minutes of killing tier ones i decided to finally bite the bullet and spent around 100 million coins to get the daggers and then basically fully maxed them out good thing is tier 2s were now very trivial to beat i only had to watch out for the fire pillars but i also bought a drop the twist bed to help break them down bad thing is i wasn't satisfied i wanted to farm tier freeze because they gave about 5 times as much derelict ash per boss 15h can beat them so i can too i fought to myself and then perished miserably in fact i died so badly all of my motivation to grind blaze layer died along with me i sold the daggers and made a 20 million coin loss yikes but then when all hope seemed lost i heard a faint voice in the distance it's fishing time it's fishing time wait what it's fishing time it was fishing time but i wasn't just looking for the regular sea creatures you can catch no no i wanted to fish up thunder this guy was a mythic sea creature not only by rarity but also because no one even knew what he looked like there were two requirements i had to fulfill though the first was having fishing 36 this wasn't a problem but the second was having novice trophy fisher this was a problem it required collecting 15 of the 18 different trophy fish which are basically very rare fish that can be caught under certain conditions for example the fly fish can only be caught by fishing 80 blocks above the lava the manta ray requires you to have a lot of mana and so on one small issue though you see at the beginning of the quest line you must choose between the mages and barbarians i picked barbarians because they're cool but uh oh it appears as if audre the guy you show your trophy fish to is bugged and you can't open his menu but only if you're a barbarian great so i had to do what i feared most join the mage faction and become a nerd look at the top of his head with that out of the way i was now on a quest to catch these trophy fish this took a very long time but i did it and can now confidently say that i hate these stupid geysers because i mean just look you can't see after showing my trophy fish collection to roger he rewarded me with a cool talisman a nice set of armor and of course the novice trophy fisher title i so badly desired i did it and it was finally time to catch thunder this guy has 35 million hp but i'm an endgame player so no problem oh wait problem i quickly realized that melee is not the way to go with thunder you basically can't reach him because he's always zigzagging through the air and then he just one shots you but after some struggle i finally managed to defeat him or rather kai defeated him i did nothing i think i hit him twice anyways the drops thunder dropped 20 silver magmafish which were worth around 7 million coins 7 million coins just in fish from one sea creature but that's not even the good drop thunder also drops thundershards which you can use to craft some very good fishing armor and the thunderbolt necklace small problem though the thunder shards they're uh they're they're soul bound meaning that i cannot sell them sadly so is the armor but at least the thunderbolt necklace wasn't and it was going for quite a few shmeckles to say the least my plan was now the following fish up four more thunders craft the thunderbolt necklace and become rich and so i fished a lot during this time i got a lot of silver magmafish which i was selling in stacks of 30 for 10 to 17 million coins each i sold a lot of these around 150 million coins worth a few hours later i fished up the final thunder i needed who is very easy to kill with a hyperion by the way and finally had enough thundershards to craft my thunderbolt necklace i put it up on the auction house for just under 69 million coins and then relisted it because someone lowballed me and then released it because someone lowballed me and they didn't realize someone lowballed me it quickly dawned on me that even if it's a cool new item people weren't willing to spend 50 million coins on 1.5 sea creature chance but someone was willing to spend 25 million and so i finally sold it at this point silver magma fish were more down bad than good guy kev's upload schedule so i decided to end my fishing journey there at least for now coincidentally the admins held a meeting at around this time and decided to finally make big man spawn i killed him it wasn't hard just took a very long time and after a few more interesting quests i finally arrived at the giant skull it was kudra time except not really let me explain there's five different kudra tiers you need more and more reputation to challenge each consecutive one and with the way reputation works you have to grind daily quests which you can accept at your factions board of course some of these quests are also just bugged bro i've killed them four times now what do you mean i could only challenge the first two tiers they were fun but also very easy and while i did get a few decent rewards i quickly realized that i needed more reputation to make this truly profitable at this point i had made around 250 million coins in a bit over one day not bad but also not as good as i was hoping for it to be next i set my sights on something different which you'll see in the next video okay bye [Music] you
