adversities at the gate every man in this room lift your right hand just to signify that you're one of two genders i implore you by the wisdom of god that you must have a 200-year plan you must the 200-year plan simply means this you may put your hands down thank you simply means that you don't only have a one-year plan a five-year plan a 10-year plan a life plan but you have a plan for your great grandchildren the scripture declares that a good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children the best man ever didn't leave houses or cars or annuities or mutuals to his children he didn't have any biologically though he owns all biology he left a value system values that create value of every type immaterial intangible and tangible financial fiscal monetary etc but our society goes further and teaches us by one of its cultural maxims that when a man has great-grandchildren we call him great and grand which is better than a good man and if a generation is 50 years a great-grandfather must plan for 200 years do you get it why is america great today because 70 men framed her constitution the governing principles the governing laws statutes ordinances that would regulate human behavior and interaction development policy etc etc and in their thoughts they could see their grandchildren around their homes and some of them their great grandchildren 70 of them of the 72 or so i think all of them were christians 32 of them were reverent gentlemen and they sat before god to determine what will the future of our grandchildren not only our children our great-grandchildren be the reason why we are in the mess we are in today is partly because of the military transgressing their normal definitions of service and entering into government and perpetuating themselves for very long without the cerebral orientation for constituting a nation out of many nations and secondly because the political structures architecture and personalities that have played the nigerian political architecture have developed a process that does not all go well for people who care about posterity who are deeply impassioned for children who are selfless like the japanese were for three generations to give refoundation and reformation to a damaged country damaged by a severe world war we have one chance to fix it one i told you on the cross overnight that nigeria is certainly going to die unless we get a miracle of phenomenal leadership i've looked at the body language of the leader his body language is presently amidst his clan and people is divisive right now and propping up several personalities as projected candidates think about this he may be trying to retain power in one perpetual ethnicity and we must use every means possible spiritual natural yet diplomatically tactfully to appeal to the better angels of every man in power nigeria must produce the very best leader on every level particularly at the head of the federation the first four citizens and then also at the state level because the state leaders determine the delegates that produce the candidates what i really mean to say is that we are generally not involved in the selection process that's what's ongoing now and we must invoke our god to pressure the heart of the men who make that final decision as to who the two foremost candidates will be and have given you a litany or a list of what the profile in our opinion a few godly men and men of god think as we perfectly considered should be the profile of the next set of leaders particularly the pinnacle leaders at the federal and the state level and apart from invoking god you know god can turn on a heart he can turn it off and i believe you know how to pray and at the critical critical moment we will pray but more so we will declare a thing and it will be established to us secondly you must use your voice you must use your smartphone and you must use wisdom to not be offensive but to speak the truth in love to the powers that be every single one of you but most importantly whilst you invoke god and invoke the powers of truth you must also get a pvc a voter's card and exercise your responsibility otherwise you are merely rhetorical and even better still get a party card and be involved in the party [Music] nigeria also needs a third force not a third party it must be a force otherwise it's just third or fifteenth or twenty-fourth and all right thinking nigerians must create a new political class we absolutely must nigeria needs an opposition we need a debate in parliament so that we don't have something like china so we don't end up totalitarian and totalitarian power in the hand of any one ethnicity in nigeria could spell doom for the country and we are on the brink of that doom don't be deceived by this peace this piece is just a negotiating tool it's just a negotiating tool to allow the elections to have a semblance of modicum of how do we say it suffrage electoral suffrage of of the people all that stuff that was happening last year it will come back as soon as the wrong people have power and don't be deceived as to it seems like there are no insurgents sleepers sleeper militants all across the country don't be deceived by that idea they are very present everywhere and there is an agenda i've said enough [Applause] and we certainly need a younger man or a woman i'm not sure the culture of nigeria is ready for a woman but i think women might do better might [Applause] i particularly like soludo i like what he's doing in the east i like his leadership style i like his you can see where he's going and whether some like it or not it will create a regional federalism and more independence for a region before long i'm no particular fan of any political party presently but before long it looks like africa will have the southeast i like what he's doing with his human resource how he's aggregating it and it's important that men who rule well should be given double honor and commendation by the conscience of the nation at times like this help me and another god who creates a people and believes that all men are created equal and with the right and freedom to pursue a life of peace prosperity development and own a dream that they and their nation can truly be great one day especially a nation like ours that has so much potential underneath our feet and in the middle of our two years as individuals i believe he deserves much better than that and if anybody can be the designer an architect of a new nigeria he is the only one otherwise the builders labor in vain nobody can secure this country unless god gives us the security strategy for our economy our future uh our people our assets and the likes you can do better than that please hallelujah parents to keep any unwell child with a high temperature or running nose at home for their well-being and for the safety of this community and the other children congratulations to the parents of all his blessing his attendance to every single day week moon a year decade and the vast seasons of their lives that he will be in the midst of it all to work all things together for the good of every one of those children that are tender ages that will come to the saving knowledge of jesus christ may god bless them all abundantly forever and forever amen a couple of testimonies only two good morning pastor and good morning church i want to thank god for reducing my rent by half pastor as you were teaching on faith and taking what is ours by faith you asked us to release our faith as something we expect from god my landlord had informed me about an increment in my house rent which i didn't have enough money for i prayed about it in faith and he came visiting and i told him i couldn't afford the new rent he asked me what i could afford and i told him only half of the red miraculously that means he must have been a stubborn man before anything stubborn in your life it will answer to the miraculous supernatural intervention of god for everybody who trusts and believes and says a strong amen [Applause] and he agreed to it now i live in an apartment twice as big as my neighbors of the same landlord but the difference is our rent is our rents are enormous and it's a secret that only god myself and my landlord share sh that's why i didn't mention the testator's name she says i return all the glory to god may god cut somebody's prices and costs in half miraculously accommodation transportation aviation name it they got cut somebody's prices in half this is an anonymous testator the god of wonders good morning pastor paul good morning house on the rock and our god is amazing early in 2021 whilst on vacation in dubai i ran into pastor paul and shared with him how much the message of grace has changed my life when i told him how much i was earning at the time which i thought was a lot he thought i had said one million dollars but it was actually one million naira but that encounter stayed with me and made me think differently why not i had started a tech business in 2016 with two other founders we were doing just about three to five million yearly but in july of 2021 after meeting pastor paul and getting a mind shift we signed a whopping 197 000 to provide tech service to a private company in nigeria that is about 24 times our usual yearly revenue you can clap that's all right i remember coming to church to give the testimony but i couldn't come out in public because i felt it was too much i privately shared the testimony after the service with dr austin and another pastor and they asked me to put it in writing that day i also gave one of the biggest offerings of my life in dollars my co-founders and i were yet to go get over the excitement of signing such a big deal when we signed yet even a great sorry we we were over excited about signing such a big deal when we signed yet even a greater deal in august by the end of 2021 we had signed a total of 320 000 u.s dollars due to this expansion we have now employed over 20 people and are growing rapidly to put things in perspective i started working only seven years ago and i have currently 20 i am currently 29 years old to the next generation generation next fusion belongs to you i've also continued to keep my 95 as an employee in another organization as i do not intend to attract unnecessary attention wisdom coming from someone who came to house on the rock with a salary of 150 000 naira only seven years ago i am eternally grateful to god for this privilege i see this as an opportunity to serve and appropriate resources correctly god came strongly in 2021 to change my life in dimensions i am still in awe of and in all this we didn't have to pay a bribe or indulge in anything illegal whatever you better clap now okay i am still annoying all of this and we didn't have to pay a bribe or indulge in anything illegal whatsoever just a clean unblemished work of god's immense grace pastor i appreciate your teachings over the years just being in house on the rock and learning has been like a university god is indeed good and i return all the glory uh and honor to the lord and the value of of that that value is 182 million naira for 29 year old and if you're not clapping it means that you don't want your own similar breakthrough think i got it all thank you first time visitors the people who believe say a big amen you may be seated in god's presence the master is on his way towards galilee and the writer explains to us that he must needs go through samaria because typical to the judeans where we get the jewish from they would always go around the cities of samaria because the sumerians were now a departed tribal coalition of the 10 northern tribes who had somewhat become enstranged or disenfranchised from the rest of israel the two southern tribes who kept the purity and the order of israel so these ten northern tribes were called samaria and the master is well and he sits on the well the well was called the well of jacob jacobs well and the truth is that he too is jacob's wealth so we have here a coincidence of great power where jacob's well is sitting chilled on jacob's well waiting for purpose to meet purpose we're going to turn down the air conditioners they're working on it it takes a few moments but the world will keep you warm [Applause] and he's waiting right there for the samaritan woman it's a major matter that he should at all indulge in a conversation with a woman let alone a samaritan woman you know the story of the good samaritan a rich young ruler came to the master and said trying to snatch him or catch him and trip him up in his theology what must i do to inherit the kingdom of heaven and jesus said to him as he petitioned him that you know keep keep the law to keep the law and he rattles out that's the rich young ruler uh the two fundamentals of the ten commandments love your god with all your strength or your heart or your might and love your neighbor as yourself and he asked the master who is your neighbor in this context and jesus opens up a parable it says there was a certain man who was going from jerusalem down towards jericho and he fell amidst robbers and they're falling amidst robbers he was wounded bruised battered beaten badly and was half dead and a priest of the tribe of judah or benjamin a jew in other words from the southern kingdom uh saw him and crossed over to the other side of the road and offered him no help at all a priest who was meant to be touched with the feeling of infirmity a levite from the priestly tribe also walked saw him crossed over to the other side and the bible says a good samaritan which infers that to the jews samaritans are not good it would be like saying for people who don't like the europas a good yariba and yariba actually means yaro banza and that's where the fulani and the shua arabs took the name because eurobasket them were banza thief bandits i wonder well don't say that and this good samaritan poured oil in his wounds banted him up poured salve into him put him on his own beast and took him to an inn and looked after him for two days and paid for all those services and gave some more credit to the man and asked the innkeepers to look after him and that when he's next around he'll pay anything extra if there is an extra bill and he now uses that platform to to say to the rich young ruler who then is your neighbor are they only your friends because as it concerned jews and samaritans they did not mix the samaritans as we know were seen as dogs they were seen as less than mortal to the jews they were without covenant with god for as far as the jews were concerned they had bastardized the covenant that god had made with israel so there's a reason why jesus says i must needs go through samaria he was not going to go around samaria as other jews would he was going to go through it because he needed to bring samaria back to his original purpose and plan and he's there sitting on the well cities are always built near large bodies of water rivers lakes big underground rivers included aquifers into which you insert a drill hole that becomes a well so that you can access water in the depth of the earth and this is why sikka and samaria grew up because water was most important to communities and civilization in that day much the same way that hydrocarbon in in terms of oil is is a great asset for any community and so what god does is in human form he goes to sit on the well waiting why because he tends to meet us where everybody meets a common need and he didn't go where there was polarization instead in this particular case he didn't go to the synagogue or to the temple or to the town hall he went to the well because everybody gets thirsty everybody gets thirsty men get thirsty women get thirsty the old get thirsty the young get thirsty the rich get thirsty the poor get thirsty the sick get thirsty the healthy get thirsty intellectuals and illiterates alike we all get thirsty and so jesus knowing that sooner or later somebody who was thirsty that he had in mind was going to come to the well to meet her need that her thirst had evidence he comes to the lowest common denominator and this is important to underscore because today we make excuses for not connecting with people who don't agree with us and who don't look like us who don't worship like we do and who are not like us culturally for example when you tell them about your church or somebody tells you about their church you say oh no that's not my kind of church it's too loud at your church your services are too long at your church your church is too white or your church is too black or your church is too american or in america your church is too nigerian or your pastor speaks too much english or or they're always predators and pray at your church it's just like at the watting holes for animals the alligators and their prey often want the water at the same time the lion and its prey all need water because the one thing that all of us have in common if we're animated species is we need water so please keep quiet and don't say anything about people not being like you because friend we all have common needs and the one place where christ chose to meet everybody or reach somebody who could reach everybody is the one place to which everybody comes he went to the well he comes to the well and when he arrives there he sits because he has come to connect with humanity he's come to connect at the place of the most common denominator he comes to what unites us he comes to our need he comes to our common need in this particular instance it is the well he is weary from his journey and the bible says for that reason he sat on the well and there is a well sitting on top of a well there is a hidden aquifer running on the inside of him that you would not perceive until he starts priming the pump and releases that water that he carries on the inside and with all that he is as a well he now sits on top of another well why because he is bodily tired from his walking and trick on his way to his destination and spiritually he is thirsty for samaria but he is not thirsty for water and he knows that sooner or later you are going to have to come to the well sooner or later the rich and the poor alike will end up at the well sooner or later the justice and the criminal will end up at the well sooner or later the judge and the jury will end up at the sooner or later friends and their enemies will show up at the well because everybody needs water and here is jesus sitting right there on top of the well waiting waiting for humanity to understand their thirst first it's therefore something that you have to acknowledge cognitively and understand that you are thirsty we don't always recognize our thirst but the truth my friends is that we all need water desperately and should drink or water quite frequently but until our lips dry out and they start chaffing and chipping and breaking until our tongue gets really dry and we notice our skin is drying up uh that's when we want to drink water but really you should have been drinking a lot of water before then because if it gets to that stage you are already dehydrated to a significant degree and the reason why is because your body is 78 for people my size 78 water for people smaller 55 percent water we've talked about the well for some time now and and i think i want to go forward and talk to you about water for a few more moments so let's talk about how jesus saw water our text opens up with him saying give me a drink and he's saying this to a chick give me a drink he acknowledges his thirst to this woman who is also a samaritan and she's immediately suspicious because they knew we don't agree number one rabbis don't talk to women number two rabbis that are jewish do not talk to samaritans so she's suspicious she thinks he is hitting on her that he's being flirtatious verse 10 and put it up on the screen for me she challenges him he says what are you being a jew asking me a samaritan to give you something to drink and he retorts and says if you knew the gift of god to you you would say to him who said to you give me the drink give me something to drink and i would give you living water that will be in you a river gushing up and out of you to the point where you would never first again she's even more suspicious now because he's toasting and he is toasting but not in a flirtatious manner he wants her because he has already seen that she is the key to samaria and here she asks him where are you going to get this living water from wherever you get it from so you can't see it because it's like the well you go to the wall you can't see the water because it's deep it's deep inside so where you're going to get it from and of course he's bragging about the nature of that water that that if you drink of it you will never thirst again because you'll have access to it all the time on a call water let's talk about water for a few more moments the first time we see water and first mentioned in the bible is in the book of genesis chapter one i think about the third verse in the beginning god created the heavens and the earth and the earth was art form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep and the spirit of god brooded upon the face of the water so what is the deep the deep there is the water and on the surface of the water that was very deep there was the holy spirit brooding and so we see that in creation water was the covering it signifies again that water is of huge importance then uh if you look at it further and we come to the fact that we are 70 water bodily each of us except those who are like zacchaeus small of stature we all need water and that's why we thirst for water because water is what we are and so you thirst for what you are you thirst for what is the major component the major uh majority of molecules in your body are h2o hallelujah and if you don't get what you are composed of you dehydrate and eventually decompose for the lack of what you are and it starts with dehydration so because we are made of water mostly we need water desperately and that's why everybody would go to the well but this woman did not go to the world at the normal time that those who went searching for water would go to the well normally that would be done in the early hours of the morning so somewhere before dawn or just after dawn before the sun is overhead they would go to go and fetch their water and because the world was deep it had a rope with it and a a fetching instrument you had to bring yourself because you'd need that fetching instrument to take the water back with you to where you're coming from are you with me stay with me i need your mind this morning and so here he is he's at the well he's saying give me something to drink you need to take that child out please you need to help me says give me something to drink she says what are you asking me a samaritan woman for a drink for he says if you knew the gift of god and who it was that was asking you to give him a drink you would ask me to give you a drink because if i give you that drink it will be in you a gushing river of living water that you will never ever thirst again i want to ask you a question let me ask you a question what does god thirst for what is he thirst for the master has started his conversation with acknowledging his thirst he never talked about his thirst again until he's on the cross and he says i thirst what does god thirst for i understand what i thirst for i understand what you thirst for that's because we are composed of water and we are consistently constantly expending water on our bodily functions water is needed for almost every bodily function in your body i constantly need pure water to sustain my wellness my fitness that's why i thirst and that's what i bodily thirst for water but what does god thirst for felix what does he thirst for god is not bodily he is not physical he is spirit the bible tells us that in our text so do spirits get thirsty does god get thirsty mass communication teaches this principle that for there to be effective communication there must be equivalence of terms that means if i'm a baby boomer and i say to you can i have some dough and you are a millennial you think i'm asking you for bread if i was asking a baby boomer like uncle sam he knows i'm asking for money yeah or a generation next says you got some pot my wife will take them parts and they'll wonder why didn't you give me the weed now some of you don't know what weed means but the nuances there are in equivalence of terms or non-equivalence of terms so he's talking about water and he means something very different from what she understands water to be but in both cases the water that they both speak of is absolutely a necessity for the existence of either body or spirit and the issue here is that you and i are both spirit and body and our bodies often left for us as a metaphor for the operation of our spirit so he tells us that in the the anatomy of marriage all you have to do to get your counseling is look at the human body and man you are the head woman you are the body no one better they both need each other desperately that's another class i'll leave that to premarital counseling and so they are both talking about water but they do not mean the same thing so when he says give me to drink what kind of water is he asking for what does he mean by the town by the the noun drink what does he mean what does he mean this is the first time we see him acknowledging his thirst the next time we see him acknowledging his thirst he's on the cross saying i thirst she thinks it's flirtation he clarifies and says no no i'm not talking about the water and the well that you need i'm talking about the the the water that i am thirsty for that if i give it to you and it satisfies you then it satisfies my thirst since i'm talking about a different kind of water that i have your water in this world will never quench your real thirst woman but the water that i have if anybody insider or outsider drinks of that water it shall be in you a river gushing like a fountain and you will never ever thirst again look at verse 14 verse 14 it shall be in you a gushing well springing up into everlasting life let me read it off the screen but whosoever drinketh of the water that i shall give him jesus says shall never thirst again but the water that i shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life and you don't have to get to heaven to get everlasting life you can have everlasting life right here in this physical body john said it again in his epistle we already have everlasting life and now that she hears this proposition he's not trying to engage her with the diamond ring he wants to engage her with everlasting life he wants to bring her into everlasting covenant with god's goodness as part of the bride of christ hallelujah to god and having heard the proposition she has and says give me this water so that i will never thirst again and never have to come back to this watering hole anymore because this woman was thirsty she was thirsty on so many levels thirsty in so many frontiers of our life thirsty in many areas of her existence and one of them had to do with water but did you notice that when she left the world she did not go back with h2o she went back with the gushing river that christ talked about because her real thirst was not water her real thirst was the satiety of her soul a hitherto her soul had only been pacified by temporary interventions from a physical well with physical water but now she was about to get an intervention that will settle her every luster every want her every need and give her satiety on a level she has never had it before she looked for it everywhere tried every kind of thing and it didn't work for her and now she decides that i'm going to go and get water because everybody has a well that they frequent for some it's the nightclub for others it's the country club for others it's the gym for others it's the party for others it's the church for others it's the creek or the club or the friendship network that they're in some others it's social media others it's linkedin others it's whatsapp whatever it is everybody has a well but have you noticed that your world doesn't really satisfy you it only pacifies you and god is not in the business of being the pacific ocean he is the eternal ocean of love he is the eternal everlasting ocean of life he is the eternal everlasting river of life here me somebody god is waiting for you he came all the way out of his way to go to meet you exactly where you were going to look for a solution for the anguish of your first that everything you tried has never been able to satisfy yet i was born with a hole in my heart i don't mean in my my physical heart but my whole being had an empty cavity in it and when i came to a state of of no longer being under subjection to my parents i tried to fill that cavity with everything that earth had to offer sex drugs rock and roll and none of it satisfied it would only temporarily fleetingly give you some pacification this woman was in my condition she resembles me and she resembles you for to tell the truth your problem may not have been the opposite sex but you have a problem look at somebody tell them i know you have a problem and this woman was willing to be open with her problem and the first hint that she was open which she says give me this water openness is the roadway to humility and humility is an important asset for you to have in your virtue case because god resists the proud but he gives grace supernatural empowerment to the humble and humility starts with being open to him give me this water that i will never thirst again in other words preacher i know you're a jew and i'm a samaritan but i'm hungry i'm thirsty i'm thirsty in everything i know to clutch for and grip or grab or or or or clutch to it doesn't really satisfy me and i keep going from pillar to post from man to man for the men from woman to woman and thirsty none of them have satisfied me she wasn't ready to tell him that yet in the discourse she hadn't gotten there yet but at least she's open that i need the kind of water you're talking about i need it have you ever needed something that you would not ask for have you ever seen or known people who wanted something so bad whether it was material or immaterial and they would never ask you for it knowing that you had it you know what got in the way pride pride can make you miss your miracle of transformation the holy spirit god detests a proud heart he often looks away from and if you're going to be open the first person to be open with whom you can trust with the vulnerability of your need your circumstance is the one who is the most trustworthy you must be open with him she says give me this water so that i will not thirst again in other words she's acknowledging that there's something missing in my life i'm tired of going around in circles looking for satisfaction in all the wrong places give me this water she noticed that you don't have anything to draw with so where are you going to get the water from have you ever been tired like she was before going around in circles you try this this year it works for six months but it leaves you worse you try something similar you try someone similar you keep trying here there and everywhere because you're trying to quench the knowing nagging thirst of your soul it's not your body's thirst water will fix that in fact drinking good h2o will heal your body if you get it in the right proportions especially when god has blessed your bread and your water but this kind of blessing is not from h2o it's from god himself who metaphors himself as a river as an underwater aquifer that you cannot see on the surface but underneath from time to time a little priming will make him gush in your dimension have you ever been tired like her before she's going around in circles in endless circles and it tires her it wears her it's a cycle that's destroying somebody here this morning it's wearying you does anybody have those places that you go to regularly needing temporary relief but you end up coming back over and over again to the same place because they don't really satisfy you they only pacify you and you keep going for pacification instead of satisfaction i prophesied to somebody this morning when you leave this room you're going to be a satisfied man or a satisfied woman with a message god will take your mess and make it your message we all have wells we all have places that we go to get temporary relief the boyfriend or the girlfriend or the nightclub or the wrecking crew as they're called or the shopping mall or the spa or the country club that makes you feel good somehow because they they touched something in your fleshy need that seemed to appeal to your appetite but did you notice that it didn't quite get to the real you it satisfied something external something immaterial like like you know i know of one person that the way that person [Music] pacifies a need for significance is to go to the mall and spend money that he or she doesn't have until they're broke and thirty thousand dollars in debt just because buying and owning stuff that when they put it on it makes other people honor and hail and say you look dapper you look swarth you look dope in there you look resplendent you look splendiferous you look absolutely drop dead gorgeous bad girl you are something this afternoon which you get that dress from and that satiates she thinks her soul but it only pacifies because when that fashion has gone and something else is in she has to go back to the mall again and get something temporary to temporarily fix her need but jesus's proposition is what i have to give to you it's not temporary it's permanent it's everlasting yeah it'll be with you whilst you're in the body satisfying you and it will be with you when you're no longer in a body satisfying you eternally i don't know if you hear what i'm saying or they go to the spa just to get the pedicure the manicure uh the massage the treatments the the skin therapy the facial therapy and they want to feel better about themselves but have you noticed it don't last because from the moment you were born your body has already started to die what needs to live and sustains the body's life is your spirit and your soul needing something much deeper to satisfy us while our wealth only pacify us the world pacifiers but it doesn't satisfy it's like plaster that cannot cure an endless soul only jesus satisfies yahushua the messiah only he can satisfy hallelujah i wonder are you drinking the water that only pacifiers or are you drinking the water that satisfies what are you drinking two waters coexisting at the same time two waters one sitting on top of the other two waters and they are both called jacob's well because jesus as you know is the son of abraham through isaac and jacob who was converted to israel who had 12 sons of which one of those patriarchs was judah and jesus is the lion from the tribe of judah so in principle because he is also a whale he is jacob's will and when jacob's well sits on top of the physical jacobs well outside sikka he's up to something you don't realize it but god was waiting for you here this sunday morning because he has a plan for your city he has a plan for your dignity he has a plan to commend you to a whole new level of honor when all you ever got in samaria was dishonor he has a plan for your life both are together in this text she has come to the fore with both whales we've talked about the well we've talked about the water and now she starts prevaricating evading the confrontation of the one who is full of grace and truth and starts making all these excuses about how to worship and where you know how people are what church do you go to oh i don't go to your kind of church because your kind of church is very deep i don't like your kind of church because your church is too theological i don't like your kind of church because it's too denominational and we fuss about ethnicity theology we fuss about the liturgy in the church we fuss about though your services are too long or your services are too short or your pastors wear robes like women or your pastors wear sneakers and shorts or your pastors are pentecostal as our baptists and we denominate the church meaning we divide the church rather than unite the church so that she looks more like a pizza than a loaf your pastor dresses down our pastors dress up in suits and ties your church meets in a restaurant ours meets in a tent your church meets in the dead oz meets in the building your church is too big i don't want to be a dot there your church is too small i'd rather be a small part of a great thing than a great part of a tiny thing i mean how can your pastors wear sneakers but have you noticed that the same people fussing and complaining about everybody else they are obsessed with sex drugs rock and roll perversion obscenity and every nature of lewdness in the world and yet they have a mouth to make so much noise so she comes up with all these invasive tactics and yet she needs the drink of water that he's offering she wants the drink of water that will quench her thirst but she's she's fussing about religion that our fathers we worship in this mountain gerizim and your your fathers say that the zion is where you should worship because uh the sumerians had built a temple in in garrison and the jews had built a temple in zion jerusalem said which is the right one and jesus bypassed it all he said the hour is and cometh how can the hour be and be coming at the same time because hear this friends what he was saying to her is that pentecost is coming but i the lord jesus christ i am pentecost right here and right now for you pentecost will empower you tomorrow but right now i am the meaning of pentecost pentecost is the first of many feasts that are going to come in succession to bless the people of god but you don't have to wait till then because the messiah that you are looking for to inhabit you he is right here when he cuts to the chase when she says to him give me this water look at how he cuts to the chase he said go bring your husband and two of you come and meet me here that's how he gives her water say go bring your husband and two of you come and meet me here she does not know how much he knows so she answers and says knowing that he's before a prophet i have no husband and he says truth the one you are with is not your husband and she was exposed you know why hebrews 4 verse 12 hebrews 4 verse 12 the word of god is alive and powerful sharper than a two-edged sword piercing to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit joints and marrow and it's the discerner of the thoughts and the intents of the heart give me hebrews 4 12 in the amplified version of the bible let me make it plain and clear hebrews 4 12 in the amplified see the word of god when it hits you it makes you pregnant when it comes into you it impregnates you with the power of god his word is his seed his spermatozoa so when he hits you with the word it changes your life and makes you pregnant with the new you pregnant with his purpose pregnant with his plan for the word that god speaks is alive and full of power making it active operative energizing and effective it is sharper than any two-edged sword penetrating to the dividing line of breath of life that's your soul and the immortal spirit and of joints and marrow of the deepest parts of our nature exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging your very thoughts and purposes in your heart so what he's saying is his word is active energizing operative to enter your spirit to enter your soul and to enter your body that's why i can heal your body at the same time as it rearranges your thoughts to be captive to the obedience of christ and then enters your spirit to energize and empower your spirit to bring your whole being under divine order hallelujah to god that's why we don't joke with the word of god god's word is powerful but when he challenges her and castles chase and says go get your husband and two of you come hither to me she did not know how to answer him because she was in what we call a circumstance and she starts to heal but did you not know friend that when you speak in stutters and then starts and chopin he understands exactly what you mean because he knew the thoughts in your head before you articulated them into speech he knew the intents of your heart before you ever had any intents he knew what was going on in your mind because when his word enters into your life one word about something else will unveil and unlock and enlighten everything else in your life that when you're under the word you kind of sometimes feel exposed lit up completely as if he could see everything but don't worry god knows how to cover you so that feeling you have that pastor did you put a wiretap in my house no i didn't god is the one who has the wiretap in your house in fact it's a wireless tap it doesn't need any electronics he knows everything about you he's got your number he knows every thought you think he knows all your plans he knows all your dispositions and everything you're trying to do and he understands your stutter i want to talk to you about the god who understands your stuttering when he confronts you with his word and there you are because you don't know how to tell him what you know you ought to tell him because you're not sure how much he knows he how did he know that the one you are with is not your husband how did he know that you have had five and the one you're with now is not the one he's not husband the word of god doesn't only reveal god it also reveals classified information about you it doesn't only reveal god to you it reveals you to you the word of god doesn't only help you to see god it helps you to see yourself helps you to see your pride haughtiness bigotry self-righteousness and by the way i don't believe in prophets who only and always see somebody else's sin but never see theirs because that kind of prophet is haughty proud arrogant self-righteous self-justifying but a real prophet comes to edify to exhort and to comfort because he recognizes that he or she lives in the same frame that you live into that's why the bible says when you see a brother taken in a fault or overtaken in the fold ye who are spiritual kill him or kill her no it says restore such a one considering yourself also you know why brother sister you are made of the same flesh that means when you're counting somebody over a fault remember that you were probably her or him before or you are probably her or him in the waiting now or you could be 20 years later when you're in his or her circumstance under that temptation you could be him or her so he says consider yourself also because you have something to consider lest you fall into the same condemnation as the devil think about that real prophets are grace-filled old testament prophets know nothing but judgment justice they know little about so i don't believe in prophets who can see everybody else's sin except their own he says to her you've told the truth you have no husband but the one that you are with now is not your own he's actually your sixth you have had five and the present chap is not yours he's not a husband he's a situation what intrigues me about the text my friends is what gets to the woman the most it wasn't the well that got to her we talked about the whale nor was it the water that got to her the h2o we talked about that because she didn't come from the well to go back to samaria to say come see a well nor does he go back to some area and say come see the water what she said was come see a man who told me everything i ever did did he tell her everything she ever did no but one word that he gave her revealed her to herself about everything she ever did do you know that one word from god will make the judgmental shut up and sit down put up their finger and scoot out of the house to say no no don't expose me here god knows how to make the arrogance shut up quickly god knows how to keep you quiet in a hurry with one word just one word hear this our master did not have a word he is the word himself our master did not have a message he is the message himself he didn't need to say everything in the annals of his tome all he had to do is say one thing and in one word is hidden all of the word of god jesus is the word she's been worshiping in the mountain for years yet she has no word there's nothing there in a mountain that was revealing god to her nor was there anything in her mountain that revealed herself to her there was no word on her mountain if you're ever going to go to a church go to a church that has the spirit and the world because the spirit and the word are inseparable if it's really the living world is full of the holy ghost jesus tells her that you've been worshiping in the mountain for years and you still never had a word what good is worship without a word word is the very seed of god word is the spermatozoa of god it's how god impregnates the spirit of man the soul of man by his word we've looked at it in hebrews chapter four that word penetrates and it impregnates so when god wants to reproduce himself in you he sends his word i wonder who here is pregnant with the word i wonder who under the sound of my voice is pregnant with the promise of tomorrow what you're standing in or sitting in this morning was a promise many years ago and it hit me like a word like a seed and i became pregnant with it and then you became pregnant and together we birth every single chair every single tile every single slab every single wall every single component of this facility because it was a seed in its beginning i wonder what god has you pregnant with i wonder what god is about to impregnate somebody with this morning who here is pregnant so she runs back to somewhere and says come see a man i don't know if you hear me she says to them i came to the world to get water instead this man gave me a word throughout scripture the word is light it it it shines brightly to unveil things in psalm 119 verse 130 he says the word your word the entrance of your word brings light psalm 119 verse 105 david said your word is a lamp to my feet and a light unto my path in genesis chapter one in the beginning was the word the word was with god and the word was god sorry that's john chapter one in genesis chapter one and verse one he says in the beginning god created the heavens and the earth and the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep and the spirit of god brooded upon the face of the water and god said let there be light in other words you start seeing when you have a word and you see with clarity you see with precision you see exactly because when light comes you're not groping around in the darkness without a short foot but you know exactly where you're going because you have been lit up can i get a witness from somebody john said it this way in the beginning who was the word the word was with god the word was god there was not anything that was made that was not made by the word in him was life and the life was the light of men and that light shone in the darkness and the darkness comprehended it not and concerning that word he said the word became flesh and dwelt amongst us and we beheld his glory as the only begotten of the father full of grace and truth and one of the most powerful things he said is whosoever believeth on him he gave them power to be light or to be sons of god just like he was the roman soldier said it this way he had asked the master to come to his house to heal his servant who was fatally ill and he recognized something about the master as he pondered everything he had heard about the master he said don't bother coming anymore i'm not worthy for you to come under my roof i'm a gentile i'm an outsider speak the word only and my servant shall be made whole and the very same moment he spoke the word at a remote location his servant became whole in his house because friends the word of god is powerful there is jesus he's not merely the carpenter son or a priest or a prophet he's the king of glory the king in creation and of creation and he's standing outside the tomb with a stone over the uh opening of the tomb and he prays a simple declaration and says lazarus come forward and instantaneously a word goes to fetch abraham or rather lazarus from abraham's bosom brings him back into his body and life attends to him in that re-entry to the matrix and the body me empty it will prosper accomplish the thing to which i sent it it will make it happen i don't know if you hear what i'm saying but the man of god the god who is man spoke one word to this woman and it changed her life completely that she ran back to uh samaria and said come see a man hear me child of god personally there's nothing great about this man here but the only great thing about this man is the word of god it's the only great thing in this life the living word that's why i'm thirsty for it i'm hungry for it look at the former that was deployed to carry the word as an evangelist to her city that was forlorn forsaken and out of sorts with god look at how transformational the word was in her life the word helps you to make peace with your past it helps you to unlock the power that you need right now for your present struggle and the word releases passion and perspective for your proper understanding of your future and so she is the key to samaria the master has said i'm not going around to marry i'm going to bring samaria back into the fold and i'm going to do it with power and i'm going to use the least likely to do the most mighty and he goes to a well and he's chilling on the well he's waiting for humanity to understand recognize and come to terms with their thirst not a thirst for water he may use water as a metaphor but the thirst for the living water that only he the word of god can give and humanity comes represented by the worst type of woman the woman who was broken by life's battles broken by her debauchery broken by her lifestyle and she was willing because of his light to be open with him because he loves broken people he can get out of broken people what he cannot get out of close people close people are dignified they're very important they're more concerned about their self-esteem and and their self-value to the community they don't really care about being open with god but god sometimes is the engineer behind your breaking he's sometimes the engineer behind your brokenness because until you're open with him he has no access to get into you until you are open with him and your alabaster box is opened he cannot pour the alabaster oil in then he seals it up and then breaks you again so that the world can can smell the fragrance of what you carry that's why he went after a broken nation samara sorry niger sorry samaria and he said i'm looking for you i want you i am looking for him this is how samaria is redeemed she is the seed of the transformation that would snatch samaria back to god it started with this woman she was the one who sowed the seed that philip in acts chapter eight will come and water and that peter and john would come and harvest further on in chapter eight we've looked at the whale we've looked at the water we've looked at the word why because the debate she was having with the master was not about the well that's earlier in the passage it's not in our actual text the debate she was having with the master was not about the water and the debate she was having was not about the word it was about how we worship it's the same argument that we have in contemporary times today as they have always done same way that the well is for everybody because that's how the worshiper hydrates their spirituality and the dimension of their mind volition and emotion worship is to your spirit what water is to your body you can't live without water likewise your spirit cannot thrive nor can your soul without worship because worship is the facility that you use to draw water for the hydration of your spirit worship is what we used to draw with joy from the wells of salvation isaiah said jesus says to her your people worshipped in the mountain but never knew who they were attempting to worship they never came to the place where they knew god do you not know that ignorance and naivety can sing and dance ignorance can clap hands naivety can shout glory hallelujah ignorance can can dance and clap and jump and twirl and run around the church but just because you're making a lot of noise doesn't mean that you are a true worshiper john chapter 4 i want to read verse 20 21 22 23 and 4 very quickly give it to me if you will john 4 our forefathers she said worshipped on this mountain but you jews say that jerusalem is the place where it is necessary and proper to worship jesus said to her woman believe me a time is coming when you will worship the father neither merely on this mountain gerizim nor merely in jerusalem judea next verse you samaritans do not know what you are worshiping you have no cognitive experiential knowledge of god you don't understand it we do know what we are worshipping but because we worship what we have knowledge of and understanding for after all salvation comes from the jews to them were given the oracles of god hallelujah let's go further then he says in verse 23 a time will come however indeed it is already here so it's coming but it's here when the true or genuine worshipers will worship the father in spirit and in truth for the father is seeking just such people as these as his worshipers what is he really going to he how can how can the hour be coming and and yet already be here it's simply because god is omnipresent in all space and also in all time he's never going or coming he's always there if i need to get to new york i get in a car i go to the airport i get on a plane and i play takes me somewhere and then i get in another car and i'm in new york i need transportation i want to go to the fifth floor i get an elevator or a transcallate or sorry an escalator if i if i want to go back to the house i get in the car we use uh transportation means to get us from one port to another port but god doesn't need to travel he doesn't use the elevator doesn't use the bicycle doesn't use the motorcycle doesn't use the car does it use the plane if they move around inside of him because he does not operate only in time time lives in him eternity is inside god you understand what i'm saying so he doesn't need to go anywhere he's everywhere present one prophet said it this way you are jehovah shamma you are the god who was is in all times at all times that means he's in 1994 at the same time as he's in 2004 at the same time as he's already in 20 20 and he's with us right now in 2022. so he can stand all the way in your 2030 and tell you what you are going to be in 2030 whilst you are presently only in 2022. he has experienced your life completely he said to jeremiah before i formed you in your mother's womb i experienced you totally every single day hour moment minute nature characteristic of your life and your life experiences and i have done it all already so when i tell you that you will be a prophet to the nations i'm not telling you of something i hope will happen it has already happened in a time you haven't come into yet but i'm experiencing it now because in eternity i see the past the present and the future all as one there's nothing past in eternity there's nothing future in eternity past present and future always now so when he gives you a word it's a sure promise it's a nail in a short place it's not going to happen it has already happened you just need to get to that time and leave god to figure out how he does everything to get you there am i talking to somebody and so this is the power of god's word and his word now reveals you to you that if you're going to get to that point in life these are the changes i'm going to make and i am responsible for changing you because you are the clay i am the potter you have nothing to do with this except just yield to me and spend your time in my word put your ear near my word and if you don't want to come to where my word is i'll drag you there i'll take you there i'll orchestrate your way to your well but when you get to the world you'll meet another well at the well and that well will be your word so god is never coming or going and he says as he develops the thought and i'm closing he says they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth it's not about mountains it's not about your temples on your mountains because both nations had temples he said it's about the person called the word of god the messiah so they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth why because god is spirit not a spirit he is spirit we use the term a spirit semantically but he is spirit if in biological i thirst for what i am and because i am 70 water i thirst for water what do spirits thirst for if he is spirit and i made in his likeness and in his image so not only is he god he is god spirit and if i am made in his likeness and in his image i am godlike and i am also spirit so what am i going to be thirsty for when my life is not fully filled it simply means that my life is not fulfilling its god-likeness and anytime i am not god-like i am unfulfilled and the only thing that makes me fulfilled is when i am filled with spirit god's spirit that's why he says when you come to me leave your flesh at the door leave the will of your flesh at the door leave the works of the flesh at the door enter his gates with what thanksgiving for what the god spirit in you the god spirit available to you enter his course with what thanksgiving anybody can praise god anybody can can give god thanks but a true worshiper is different from appraiser a speaker can praise god but he can't worship him any joker can praise god and give him thanks because god is good to all the sun rises and shines on the just and the unjust the rain falls on the wicked and the righteous but a worshiper is different to go into the glory to go into the shekinah is more than thank you it requires the knowledge of who he is and in order for you to know who he is you must be a broken person something must have challenged your life to the point of breaking that you now have a need say god help me and it is to the broken that he reveals himself your need brings you to his presence where you admit and open up what is openness brokenness and if you're broken but not open that's depression that's tragedy that's trauma i hope somebody's listening i hope you get it so likewise you are spirit too so you thirst for him whom and in whose image you are made exactly like and many times we don't recognize our thirst so i'm thirsty for water but i go and drink ribena ribena doesn't make my thirst better it actually aggravates my thirst it looks a little or behaves a little bit like water because it's fluid but the sugar content aggravates my thirst that i have to drink much more water to counteract all the sugar i took in in the ribena and so we often misappropriate our thirst and look for the wrong thing whereas you need clean water if you're going to hydrate correctly likewise you need the cleanliness of the hygiene of god's spirit who is the holy spirit that simply just means clean if you're going to be fulfilled if your thirst is going to be quenched i thirst for god is the human position whether we know it or not we thirst for god but for god guess what he thirsts for he thirsts for your spirit not your flesh that's why those who come to him must come in spirit and in truth in reality is a great way to say it so so anybody can praise him and you can praise him outside of his presence you don't have to be in his presence to praise him that's why we enter his gate not his presence with thanksgiving we enter his courts not his presence with praise enter his gaze with thanksgiving in my heart enter his courts with prayer that's not his presence but in order to worship you have to go into the place where his present glory is where deep calls on to deep to get that water out of the aquifer the river that's running deep underground you have to throw in a deep rope deep calls to deep nakedness to nakedness you know there's a reason why the glory had a veil there's a reason why your glory has a veil your glory's hidden in your spirit and the flesh is the veil the writer of hebrew said and god wants all that to disappear till you are in touch with who you are as a born-again spirit being that becomes in touch with who he is as god unveiled where you can see him as he is in all of his rich glory real worship doesn't come from the instruments real worship doesn't come from the recognize that worship is an exclusive cader of persons who have been naked before god not talking about taking off your clothes i'm talking about taking your flesh off your spirit and exposing your spirit to god you have to leave your flesh at the gate you have to leave all the attitudes of the flesh at the outer door if you're going to worship him you must give him what he is he is spirit and he is thirsty for your spirit if he is water you have to give him water but he's not water he is spirit if he is spirit and if you're going to quench his thirst you have to worship him in spirit and in truth for the father listen carefully seeketh such to worship him the bible says how can the omniscient god be looking for anything when he knows everything how can the omniscient all-knowing of the sciences and the arts be looking for something when he knows where everything is how is it possible that the omniscient god is busy seeking how is it possible he's in the garden seeking when adam is not giving him spirit anymore the thing that god the father is is thirsty for adam goes and covers himself up with something other than the glory which used to be his covering before he failed and he's now used something that's already dead from the moment he cut it off from its tree trunk thick leaves as aprons to cover his nakedness whereas his nakedness was never meant to be covered from god his nakedness was meant to be exposed to god so that god's glory would become his covering glory only comes where there is worship can i talk to somebody and when he sees that adam is no longer where he left him the voice of god's glory comes walking to him in the cool of the evening and he shouts out uh adam where are you this the all-knowing god is looking for something that he already knows does it mean that adam was lost no adam's identity was lost to adam but not to god and the only person who could give him his identity back was god who is the father of all spirits and in order for that to happen adam had to become spiritual again and once he would become spiritual god would give him back that glory and hence we have the last man adam oh my goodness who when he showed up the completely out of the way it's not in his biological or natural culture to look for you but he's looking for you please give me a witness somebody and then again we see him stretched wide on calvary's tree uh hung high on the brow of calvary hypovolemic shock going through his entire body as he's depleted from from human uh uh hemoglobin and there in that moment his nerves that are pierced by six inch stakes in his ankle in his foot bone and also in his wrist bone are sending a fiery pain through his entire body the kind of pain the few men have ever had to bear and in the midst of all of that the sun cannot bear to shine when its creator is dying on a tree the earth is convulsing in earthquakes underneath his feet and he again says i'm seeking and he cries out one of his last words and says to them i thirst what was he thirsting for they gave him some of the drink he said no thank you what was he thirsting for he was thirsting for you he was seeking you he's still seeking from genesis through john's gospel all the way to the cross uh he's thirsty for you what is he thirsty for he's thirsty for you and me he's not looking for you to be in church more he wants you to be in worship in the spirit and truth more because you can come to church and miss the worship others may get into it but you might be there just thinking it's music because you might be here for a different reason you might not have come in touch with your own thirst like most of us we don't acknowledge our thirst half of some of the health challenges i've had to battle with were because i wasn't drinking enough water likewise half of the real life problems that we deal with are because we're not drinking enough god god is looking for you he wants you back he wants your worship he wants your faith he wants you to reveal yourself to him so he can reveal himself he says i'm looking for you i'm looking for your authentic appreciation and in the search for your authentic appreciation what god does is he allows you to get broken by your passionate pursuit of all the things that do not satisfy but only pacify and when they eventually entangle and con convolute and contour to your life you become a broken person and you try to medicate your brokenness in all the wrong places and they do give you some relief but it's temporary it pacifies but it doesn't satisfy he says i'm not looking for goody two shoes i'm looking for authentic appreciation i cannot get authentic appreciation from goody two-shoes that's somebody's name i'm looking for the whole monger i'm looking for the i'm looking for the ex-convict i'm looking for the broken the batter the busted the broken and the disgusted i'm looking for the pervert i'm looking for the sin i'm looking for the backstab at the backbiter i'm looking for the tax man i'm looking for the stressed out and hapless i'm looking for the hopeless the rejected the criticized i'm looking for the outcast i want the outsider there's something they are that i want they're so tired of their pain they apply it their predicament that if i can just get a word to them they'll realize that i am the only one who can help them i am your but flesh he says no you're not flesh and he strips you of your flesh and he unveils your spirit being to his spiritness and the two come together and find oneness again then you see the glory god is looking for broken people that's who he empowered to run the organization of his body the body of christ he says i'm thirsty for true worshipers the truth i want you to bring is not the bible i i have that it's it's for you i have the word you bring your reality to me has god ever done anything for you that you didn't deserve that deserves your worship because it was because of who he is that he was able to do what you don't deserve that's why you can like job say i know that my redeemer lives or like abraham god is jehovah jireh the lord god my provider he wasn't providing him just money he provided him a substitute for what he loved the most that he had been asked to sacrifice he knows everything about you woman everything he knows everything about you man everything he knows everything about each one of us all of us he knows all our evasive action how we cover it up like adam and he says come on to me all of you who are weary and heavy laden and i will give you rest for your souls he's saying to broken people give up to him we've talked about the well we've talked about water and its similitude as a metaphor for god's spirit we've talked about word we talked about worship worship is not something you talk about worship is something that you are a worshiper because you recognize that everything you have you don't deserve it you didn't earn it and you'll never get it because you got it yourself you got it only because he gave it there are people here who fit the exact category of outsider you're not good enough you're not worthy enough how do you think the woman with the issue of blood felt ostracized for 12 years how do you think jarius and his wife felt about their daughter who at 12 died how do you think the syrophoenician woman must have felt with a demon vexing her daughter in the house tossing and twisting and turning her upside down when they come to the master because they are sick and tired of their plight and in the midst of their plight they find him they come into his glory into his presence and his glory now shows up and he fixes their problem how do you think they felt in that moment they were transformed not just into believers but into true worshipers because they chose to be open there's a fatigue that comes to your soul when your brokenness has gone beyond brokenness where you don't care what anybody thinks but you know he is your redeemer he can bring you back to glory in other words and you're ready to let it all hang out and be open with him it's into that cavity of your openness that he pours his glory my prayer for you is that this week you will enter into true worship if you haven't already because in true worship is where the rhythm of the miraculous happens the woman goes back to sikkar she tells them come see a man and the men come out and they believe her a good number of them and they come out to see jesus and and all the rest of the men now believe on him not just because of what she said but because they met him he stayed with them for two days what was he doing he was sowing a seed the bible says one sows another waters and god brings the increase why did he go to samaria he wasn't looking for the woman he was looking through the woman at a whole nation that was part of the twelve and they had become lost because of solomon solomon had two seed jeroham and jeroboam one became is only for people who are breaking i'm not going to ask you to come to the altar because of covet but your breaking point we dress up on top of it we cover it up we drive on top of it we live on top how to spell every single address in the world the up and up and out the down and out your breaking point in some area of your life you're saying i don't want to hide my pain by saying i i have no doesn't hear what's important is that god hears even if you have to mind it to god and not actually say anything but let him know in your heart of hearts i'm breaking and i need you to hold me together and if i'm going to break let me break in your hands because i know that my redeemer lives that if i go down you'll bring me up again that if i hit the grave in three days you'll bring me back out metaphorically we've all been through brokenness in these last 24 months the toll of kovid has already begun to show damaged our ecosystems our economies broke up relationship planted us in silos so that we weren't strange from our friendships our fellowships our our kids our kin our meetings our cubs and all of that because god wanted you for himself those hands lifted you're saying here i am i plead with you don't leave this room without leaving your pain and your thirst because they're co-related i let them know this is where i'm thirsty and everything i've tried doesn't work it's you that i need talk to him i want a real worshiper to come with a song that's relevant to what we're talking about and we're at a well it's called the rock cathedral but i believe there's another well in the world his name is jesus christ he's given you a word to provoke your openness to reveal your brokenness to him and say this is who i am and i can't help it from you because you know everything anyways and she says give me this water and he tells her a truth [Music] we can all shout down sing and praise but can we worship they say you can praise an absent god but you you can only worship a present god only when his presence is there can you touch him with your spirit it's called worship and worship doesn't have to have melody it's great when it does but it doesn't have to it can be stronger without it and all i'm asking you to do is tell him your weariness without using too many words the woman found a way to tell him that i'm weary and i agree with you when she threw that water pot down that was empty she came to collect water but she didn't leave with any water she left with god [Music] those of you who want to kneel if you if you need to kneel to put you in posture that's your choice those of you who understand whatever you want to do do but let god have your spirit because that's what he's thirsty for he's not thirsty for your attitudes he's thirsty for the pureness of your spirit hear me and hear me carefully you are like god in creation in new creation and therefore you are always going to be thirsty for god needy of god because without him you cannot be yourself your true new creation self that's in dominion that's above only never beneath that's the head only never the tail that's fully filled and fulfilled [Music] and if you're that worker the nation builder the life transformer that you are meant to be i want you to open up and tell them god fill my heart fill my soul with the glory of your presence take my aching pains the thing i'm worrying about my son or my daughter or my wife or my husband my marriage or my career my job or my economics my landlord or my accommodation or my transportation whatever it is that's making your soul ache that all the things of the earth cannot seem to remedy and say god hair is my spirit if you give him your spirit and put it in his hands everything else you need you'll have it won't have you but you'll have it but you'll also have fulfillment because if you give him your spirit he gives you the glory of his spirit father we worship you take it awakened [Music] give myself top of it we'll talk on top of it we smile on top of it but we're going through grief and he says i'm going to show you my glory and in seeing my glory i will show you your glory in my glory that woman left his presence and she was completely fulfilled in a way she had never seen or known fulfillment before her confidence came back to her she was a transformed person she was a satisfied woman with a message as god showed her his glory god's about to transform you today into a significant person that doesn't need outside commendation or endorsement because now you will have in you a river of life commending you endorsing you accrediting you acknowledging you strengthening you i'm going to count to seven one [Music] is the number of god but i'm not going to start there i'm going to start from seven seven is the number of perfection seven is the number of the man god who met with the woman at the well he was the seventh man the perfect man six is the number of god's love for humanity who is man that you are mindful of him or the son of man that you pay attention to him that you seek him it was on the sixth day god created man and planted him in grace five days of creation's bounty five is the number of grace where people like zacchaeus mary from magdala the paralyzed boy the woman whose daughter was vexed with the devil the woman with the issue of blood grace four is the number of the good news that with all your imperfections [Music] you are exactly who i want [Music] i'll clothe you with me so when the father looks at you he'll see me and treat you just like he treats me three is the number of resurrection everything about your life seems to have gunned down somebody and you're trying to cover it with fig leaves i want you to cover it with my glory and then my glory will lift you will resurrect you three is the number of the concert of god father son and holy spirit [Music] in concerted exertion of their glory to lift you to where you belong to make you regain your identity as god-like as a son a daughter of the most high god and two is the number of agreement when the blood the word heaven and earth agree that there's no god but jehovah no maggots and things that deteriorated the tree stump that it didn't look like a tree stump anymore and joe walked away from it feeling that there was no hope for the tree the same way that the enemy after having battered and battered and bruised through different ways walks away from us and says he's done for i finished him but the enemy forgot that the power of that tree was not in its trunk that was gone it wasn't in its branches that was gone wasn't it leaves in his leaves but that was gone was in its roots and the roots were still alive but beneath where the eye could see the bible says that the smell of water job having passed by that dead tree trunk saw that the tree had sprouted again because of the smell of water that water that water was a metaphor for your worship that brings the spirit of god like water to your soul if you will worship him now [Music] and just tell him what he is worth to you in your area of greatest need i promise you the glory of god in that area lift your hands father i'm a broken man my trials are too strong for me my test is more than i can bear the things i look for to satisfy the aching of my soul they only temporarily pacify [Music] i acknowledge i need your glory if that's you tell him what you need tell him where you need it the woman said give me that water but i will never have to go back to those whales that profit me nothing give me that water install that water aquifer in me if that's you tell him what you need you need the glory and tell him where to apply it he said give me the glory lift your hearts you don't have to lift your hands they must be tired by now and tell him is where i need it it's in my career he may give you a completely nuclear it's in my it's in my children it's in my relationships it's in my praying for that boy i believe god's going to touch you where you need it the most father touch that boy anything your glory touches is made of oh is it that you're not seeking that boy you don't want in us that will make us true worshipers the only thing you really need from us worship [Music] who is like unto you oh our god among the so-called gods wells clubs things that pretend to satisfy like the fig tree they pretended to be a covering you cursed it i declare that everything that poses as god in your life be cursed let only that true god the creator of the heavens and the earth may he be blessed by your worship by that which reveals him to you and reveals you to yourself for all you can be that you don't have to be who you used to be anymore [Music] now take these last couple of moments and in your own words whether you want them silent all out or quiet just let him know how much you appreciate him because somebody here you're going home to meet a total difference somebody when we have you thank you our father in jesus name we worship amen amen amen amen what a sweet presence of the holy spirit amen hallelujah it's time to continue to worship our master and we worship him with the essence of our lives with everything that our life represents and constitutes so i want you to just bring out your offering unto the lord this day your tithe your offering whatever it is and in the same attitude in the same spirit spirit onto spirit knowing that without him you would not even be blessed to have perhaps the hands or the brain or the health that you have to have the means that you have so what is that without god so today bring out your offering you know whatever it is your gadgets your envelope if you've already done your standing order your transfer and let's just give back a token unto the lord for that which he has blessed us abundantly with amen and once you're done if you rise to your feet our father we thank you for the opportunity to give we recognize that without you we are nothing we come today and we give a token even though it might be everything we have we recognize that it is nothing compared to what you have given us and what you have made available to us as we lift up the the as we lift up our offerings and whatever it is we've used to give unto you father we ask in the name of jesus christ that you will touch the infirmity that may be in our finances touch the infirmities that may have come from the place of financial deprivation touch oh god the lack in our areas whether it be in our accommodation in our transportation intuition in provision whatever area father we thank you because you have touched us today and we know that we are whole and we are healed and we are complete in jesus name and therefore we speak healing even into your finances from this day as you go forth because you are in a deeper relationship with god there is an intimacy you have therefore your mind will operate to be able to bear witty inventions to be able to operate above that which you had hitherto operated and those doors will open onto you where financial increase will come your way we declare that everywhere there was a there was a deficit there was luck and there was something missing by the mercies of god today you have been touched and that touch overflows to every area of your lives in the mighty name of jesus christ
