good morning when jesus inaugurated his mission his inaugural speech in luke 3 18 the spirit is the lord upon me the spirit of the lord is upon me because he has chosen me to bring good news to the poor he sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery outside the blind to set free the oppressed and announce that the time has come when the lord will say to today as we celebrate the memorial with the most sacred heart of jesus we also pray that the spirit of the lord come down upon the sisters and the teachers and the students and the parents of all those studying at the holy spirit school the spirit of the lord is upon me every disciple of christ is full of the spirit and why should you be filled with the spirit of the lord so that you could bring good news to the poor so that you can proclaim liberty to captives recovery inside the blind to set treat the oppressed and announce that the time has come when the lord will save his people that should be the competencies competency wrong education nearly that should be the competencies to bring good news to the pool to proclaim liberty to captives in recovery of sight to the blind for the most part it's not being done by the catholic church by catholic schools by catholic families so in the first reading isaiah 58 this is the kind of fasting that i want releasing those bound unjustly untying the thongs of the yoke setting free of breath breaking every year sharing your bread with the hungry sheltering the oppressed and the homeless clothing the naked when you see them and not turning your back on your own then your light shall break forth like the dawn and your wound shall quickly be healed then you shall call and the lord will answer you shall cry for help and he will say here i am we are not real disciples in this country number two in corruption according to amnesty connected [Music] has given us a grant for school dropouts alternative learning systems funds emotionally distressed there is a mental health problem in the philippines today among psychotherapists guidance counselors especially after psychological intervention young people they and they are discouraged this illusion first communion we are trouble priests are troubled because of the number of young people confessing their sins and saying that a few times they already thought of ending their lives i hope does not happen to you but the society has become too complex there's no good example being said so they are skeptical they are disillusioned they are discouraged [Music] john spending all your time that will not prepare you all the hours you spend on tick tock on whatsapp on instagram and twitter will not prepare you for the future because i'm trying i'm telling you today be prepared for untold misery the pandemic destroyed the economy and we do not see leaders that could get us out of this darkness foreign the spirit of the lord is upon me because he has chosen me to bring good news to the poor to proclaim freedom to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind set through the oppressed and announce that the time has come when the lord will save his people i'm writing about i'm seeking to change the educational system in the philippines because it's too concentrated on the cognitive [Music] the lighting of the fire is not the feeling education is the lighting of the fire you light the fire so that the students lives will be transformed and then they become better human beings not only good for jobs in makate they become better human beings who will build a better world they should be given the attitudes and the skills and the competencies so that they can transform transform this darkened world into a world of justice and freedom as our faith transform this world set the captives free [Music] so that the darkness will come back to this country again the spirit of the lord is upon me because he has chosen me to bring good news to the poor proclaim liberty to captives recovery inside the blind set freely oppressed and announced that the time has come when the lord will save his people let us pray during this mass that the holy spirit school that everyone there that the spirit of the lord will be upon everyone in the holy spirit school so that they could bring good news to the poor proclaim liberty to captives recovery scientifically blind and set free the oppressed you
