Homebody Diaries | learning to love life, living room update, fun night at home

[Music] Lazy Sunday mornings hiding under covers I don't mind staying with you play your favorite movie laying right beside me I don't mind when it's just us to the corner coffee shop we like to go take night walks with you to take me home with you I never feel alone these little songs make me glad to call you mine and you have got my head in the clouds 1 2 3 all that I need is your body next to me on rainy days just need your compy don't need too much just your simple love it's the simple joy of hearing your voice every morning iake kiss on my face I too just your simple love it's [Music] walking to the market strolling hand in hand exchanging letters when your away don't need any effort when we are together we always have fun throughout the day I do anything to get your attention when you say you love me I seem to ascend to the heavens above where we fall in love I don't know what I would do without you because all I need [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] so this is my new coffee table that I just picked up from a furniture brand called Floyd you might know them for their bed which I think is probably their most popular product but they also have a lot of other great furniture and I decided to pick up this which is the Acton slat bench you'll notice it's pretty similar in design to the old Nelson bench which I just replaced it with I decided to replace it with this one for a few different reasons the first one being this is smaller over the course of living here for the last 2 years I realized that I actually don't use too much of the space on on it and so I figured downsizing would be a good move I feel like it just makes the living room feel a little bit more open and kind of like larger and I think part of that is also these legs which are sort of in this thinner style which I think just visually blocks off the rug and the floor a little bit less and then the second reason is obviously you guys know I'm a really big fan of design and that Nelson bench was actually a replica Nelson bench which I bought when I first moved into this apartment for I think like $150 or $200 off of Facebook Marketplace but obviously over the course of the last 2 years since I've been living here I've really gotten into authentic design both through my own interior design journey and then obviously also my journey creating content you guys might remember I used to have a replica Togo chair which I have since replaced with an authentic Len Ros Togo love seat if you're wondering why I didn't just decide to go with an authentic Herman Miller Nelson bench to replace my replica one I feel like even though I do absolutely love that design I was looking for a little bit of a switch and I feel like honestly the Nelson bench is a little bit oversaturated sort of in the interior design Community the main feature of that bench again which I really liked was the sort of slatted wood design and this bench obviously also has that but then I think it's a little bit more unique so yeah let me know what you guys think of this update I think it looks really great in the living room and I'm super happy to have this authentic design piece in my home [Music] a while happened yesterday you should always apply like question [Music] you cont [Music] strateg it was being like so [Music] [Applause] [Music] so it's been a while before I have changed my bed sheets and no I don't mean that I don't wash them because I do actually do that once every 2 weeks or so but more so just that I've had this sort of oatmeal and yellow color scheme with these linen sheets for almost a year now and so I kind of just felt like switching it up and it's also getting close to Summer now so I feel like some white or I guess lighter colored sheets might fit the overall like Vibe better so let me show you guys the sheets that I picked up I got these sort of white tan pin stripe sheets from a brand called cotton which I'll leave a link for in the description but yeah these are actually normal cotton sheets I know I've talked a lot about how I like linen sheets a lot because they get softer over time but I figured I'd give it a switch just because again I've been using those for so long so I'm going to try these out and see how they feel for at least a few weeks [Music] a [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] it's just the extra stuff it's like Kucha which one do you want I am definitely not a drinker but I will say that in Japan I really really enjoyed the sake there and I feel like it was just a lot more enjoyable of an alcohol experience compared to drinking beers in the US which I kind of hate or taking shots which is exclusively for when I was in college so I went to Hmart the other day and found two different bottles of sake I think tonight me and my girlfriend are going to try the strawberry one and good a little bit tipsy and then play some fortnite now a smile with my cat I feel like now that I graduated and I'm kind of definitely over my sort of going out period of time and really just enjoy staying home this is my idea of like a perfect Friday night just spending time with the people I care about and then obviously
