Home in Hawaii ep. 4: first week of summer on oahu

sunset dude [Music] it's officially mystery boy i can't believe it's june i don't understand the concept of time is time real no one really knows we're at our new favorite beach it's a new month it's the first week of summer i know summers technically start till the 21st i'm declaring that it starts today happy summer episode quattro [Music] uh [Music] i'm putting this out there we are all gonna have a good summer shop my collection more importantly and the reason i turned on the camera for this clip let's do a little social media versus reality check i know it's easy to think that literally girls on social media are always snatched as someone who's on social media it's fake looking great right social media real life no one is that snatched literally instagram girls including me it's the oldest trick in the books you literally pull up your bottoms as high as you can and you are set i know that summer can be a weird time and sometimes it can be hard especially if you're not confident in your own body to feel comfortable going to the beach with your friends or your family and wearing a swimsuit but i'm just telling you now life is too short enjoy your life you are beautiful the way you are the least interesting thing about you is your body and i promise no one's looking at you like how you look at yourself so go have a beach day or a pool day and wear that swimsuit that you want to wear anyways we are going to target you and me we're going to have a thursday target run you're coming with because i want some company and i'm going to pick up some craft supplies because i want to make a summer bucket list i want to pick up some things to make a cute presentation out of it that way it feels more fun i can put it in my room or something and i think tonight with connor we're gonna do a little bucket list together i think it'd be really fun i always have things i want to do during the summer and then i forget them because i don't write it down this is the year that changes [Applause] [Music] we've secured the goods i feel very legit i don't think you guys understand literally that gave me massive flashbacks to high school because i was that girl who would make posters um like for football boys and i'd be spending so much money on supplies for no reason if you're in high school football boys just be careful okay because apparently i'm over it i'm good i'll do a quick little haul i've got a five pack of the sparkly border paper some fancy colored sharpies for some reason i felt the need to really excel at this bucket list to add some spice i got some alphabet stickers and some gem stickers i'm excited oh my gosh this is exciting big things are happening it's a wild night here [Music] that'll be so fun [Music] we've just accomplished our bucket list we've got how many is this one two three four five six seven seven percent 21. we have 21 things we can cross off we really have 21 that's for one night too and we're gonna add on more probably i know you look like we just won an award from school but look how cute good morning it's 8 a.m and it's kind of a rainy day out but connor and i have plans to go to the beach for like a morning dip we've got the swimsuit on that's a little bag it's gonna be a really quick sesh we both have other things that we have to do today but we thought it'd be fun just to start off our morning together like that and today is aloha friday so happy aloha friday i always get questions if i'm just saying it's a little friday if it actually has a meaning so there's a local song and it goes it's a little friday no till monday so friday kind of just means the end of the work week i'm looking forward to the weekend so it spreads some cheer some positivity and also i love the weekend happy aloha friday [Applause] atlantic ocean yeah no that was really cool we can go back in sorry sorry it's it's it's not my fault we're jumping at 4 30 in the morning this is very typical hawaii weather behavior it's like storming over there and then the sun is out yeah here's some sunshine if you need it i got connor obsessed with acai bowls they are very good [Laughter] why'd you say it like that wait hello y'all what you could be like yeah i really enjoy them they're super good yeah don't overthink it conor has something to say speak to them speak to them speak your truth oh my god buy my girlfriend's jewelry when it comes out on what month is it january friday tgif wow so generous it is finally the weekend today's a saturday it is date night i just showered i shaved we are almost ready to go i thought i'd do my makeup with you guys today's been a pretty chill day i filmed a video got a head on a few things took some photos by myself which actually turned out pretty good i only got two photos and i took like 400. it's okay that's besides the point the fact that i got two good ones is what matters most he's taking me to one of our favorite sushi places that we like to go to in town so i'm gonna dress up a little bit which will be really nice i definitely think it's important to go on dates with your partner especially if you've been together for a while connor and i have been together for over two years and we still make it a priority to go on dates i think sometimes once you settle into a relationship it's easy just to do the same things and not really change it up and i feel like that's kind of when relationships feel like they're stagnant and not really going anywhere so we make it a point to still go on dates often and do new things together that's why we did the whole bucket list because 18 out of the 21 things that we put on this bucket list we haven't done together yet or at all so i think it'll be really good for us so if you're in a relationship and you have that issue of things feeling like they're not really going anywhere maybe you're feeling bored in your relationship i think one thing you can really do to spice it up is go on dates do something new try a new restaurant together do a new activity together it's really easy to settle and kind of just get into the routine of doing the same old things and that's when relationships kind of just feel like they plateau a little bit so even if you've been together with your partner for a long time i think it's important to still treat it like a priority go on dates do fun things together so that's what we're doing and i think we're having a movie night too which will be really nice i'm very excited i feel like we've been hanging out a lot this week which is really good as you guys have obviously seen i feel like a lot of the days i've been with him it's funny because prior to this week we weren't seeing each other super often because we were very busy so you know sometimes other things in life get in the way but now that we have free time we are making time for each other very excited a little bit of blush some mascara curl a little bit of gloss good enough this is the dress i'm planning to wear i haven't tried it on yet so let's try it on okay what do we think this dress is from auritzia i'll have it linked down below it's kind of got that gingham pattern to it place we're going to is casual but still could definitely wear a dress i'll probably wear some sneakers with it boom oh i think this is the fit for tonight yeehaw let's get it i'm excited now i'm excited once you put on a good outfit and you're feeling good that's when you know i accessorize with my julie line with enroute today's the day i'm gonna pull off one of the biggest heists east heists what the feast heist that i have probably ever done i'm being quiet because my sister is on her way from new york to come home and visit my parents have no idea no idea not even the slightest hint oblivious if you're new here you might think i'm an only child but i actually have an older sister who lives in new york and she hasn't come home since the middle of last year my parents really miss her and they've been talking about how they're not going to see her till next year i'm going to conjure up some lie which should not be that hard [Music] i got you guys a surprise for the house i just want everyone to be seated and i'm gonna pee i'm so nervous okay just stay there what is she doing she's gonna go get it so cute okay can i take your best guess what 105 inch tv even better [Laughter] oh someone's very
