Home Depot Veranda Fence Bracket Secret

hello again welcome to francesco and daddy's do-it-yourself tutorials today we're looking at a new fence that we just completed it's veranda uh at home depot it's the stock plastic fencing that they have at home depot uh six foot tall and uh it worked out pretty nice actually so what we did was uh we actually used wood four by fours inside each of these uprights posts we did not use cement we're down in florida so we don't need cement you just dig a three foot hole deeper and uh you know use an eight foot post and you got it make your cuts and then but we wanted to give you a little bit of the secret here having to do with these guys right here the aluminum bracket kit can you focus in on that francesco you see the aluminum bracket kit that comes along with this fencing and here it is installed you know four screws right through the plastic into the wood and so it worked out really nice with the wood inside i wouldn't do it without the wood inside it's just too flimsy but this bracket here the instructions call for you to put one post in the ground and then and and and cement it and everything else that's what they tell you to do but they put one post in the ground and then keep the second one loose uh and then take the brackets and kind of do this with them put the put the fence in and bring bring this post that's loose in and i didn't think that was a good idea because i really needed to know exactly where this post and this post were going to be so what i did was we had to you know here's the secret we put i put the post in i measured correctly per the instructions which you can do if you have to trim you can trim with a uh with a saber saw and then but these brackets what i did was i put them in i screwed them all in and just on one side here's the secret folks one side here i bent i pulled with my hand and pulled this side out i pulled it out bent it out on just one side top and bottom one side i bent it out and therefore we could get the fence in slid it in slit it in and we already had the fence post where we wanted them solidified in the ground already tamp down and what i did after that was once you get them in you bend it back you hammer it away hammer both of these in place and you're there so that's the secret to using these brackets the fence bracket aluminum bracket kit without having to keep this post loose and because you want to know where that post is the secret is bend that bracket out on one side of the panel both of them put it in and bend it back and hammer it on that's it for today thank you so much bye guys
